Round video message recording stops when switching from the front camera to the rear camera on OnePlus 15 with experimental Camera2 settings enabled.
This is a regression introduced in a recent Telegram update. Camera switching previously worked at maximum quality and 60 FPS on this device. Recording now stops when switching cameras, even at 30 FPS.
The logs indicate that the Camera2 capture session configuration fails during the camera switch, followed by an encoder frame-rate fallback error. Telegram then enters the ERROR state and terminates the recording.
Steps to reproduce
Start recording a round video message.
Switch to the rear camera while recording, a couple of times.
Current result
Recording stops when switching from the front camera to the rear camera. The Camera session configuration fails, followed by an encoder frame-rate fallback error, causing recording to enter the ERROR state.

Expected result
Switching from the front camera to the rear camera during round video message recording should not terminate the recording. Camera switching should continue to work at the supported quality and frame-rate settings, as it did in previous versions.
An issue I reported got merged to this and I don't consider it to be exactly the same as it affects a different function of the app.
[Android] Dual Camera mode not working/available in Stories on Poco X6 Pro (HyperOS)
App Version: Telegram Direct (APK v13.01 - 7167) Operating System: Android 16 / HyperOS Device Model: Poco X6 Pro (MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra)
In the Stories feature, the Dual Camera option (simultaneous front and rear camera view/recording) does not function or fails to load the secondary video stream.
System and app-level troubleshooting steps already performed:
1. Confirmed full Camera permissions are granted. 2. Verified in the Debug Menu that Hide dual camera is disabled. 3. Tested toggling Use old Camera 1 API with no success.
The issue appears to be an incompatibility between Telegram's concurrent camera API implementation and HyperOS hardware stream handling on this device/chipset.
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Telegram and tap to create a new Story. 2. Attempt to activate or switch to the Dual Camera layout.
Expected Result Both front and rear camera viewfinders should render simultaneously, allowing dual-view photos or video recordings.
Actual Result The dual viewfinder fails to load, or the second camera stream remains blank/unresponsive.

Can you install it and try to check?
