Welcome to Brewed: Writing by Donna Fisher
This is the part where I’m supposed to neatly sum up what I write about. Well that’s a little tricky to do.
My writing is a strange brew of genres and forms. Sometimes dystopian. Sometimes book-club fiction. Sometimes cli-fi. Occasionally poetry. On very brave days, I’ll write personal essays drawn from my own life.
But whatever is thrown into the mix, my work returns again and again to themes of transformation, growth, and hope…and it is always tea-powered and human-authored.
If you subscribe, you’ll get an email whenever I post a new story, poem or essay; and you’ll get access to the first three chapters of my magic realism/cli-fi retelling of Gaia mythology - Daughter of the Forgotten Goddess. If you choose to go paid, you’ll be able to access my full archive forever, and the entire serialisation of Daughter of the Forgotten Goddess.
However you choose to read, I’m very glad you are here. Now let’s put the kettle on, and read some stories.
