Welcome to the Bloom Dispatch: a hub for LGBTQIA+ news, arts, & culture in western Massachusetts.

Since 2021, Bloom Local has been queering professional spaces to foster collective growth for the LGBTQIA+ community in western Massachusetts.

From our Partner Network, Community Guide, and Event Calendar, to intentional partnerships and projects like Rooted Resilience—we invite our communities to get curious about the ways we hold collective challenges, successes, joys, and everything in between from a hyper-local perspective.

Our newsletters report from the intersections of creativity, entrepreneurship, and community care, highlighting local LGBTQIA+ community-focused projects, happenings, issues, and resources.

Check out the different sections of our Substack to find Events, News, and more, and to get acquainted with our incredible community of Partners.

In community,

Lucas Abbott (he/they)

We don’t keep our posts behind a paywall because one of our goals is to keep information as accessible as possible, regardless of folks’ ability to contribute financially.

This is a very small business with only two part-time staffers that is dedicated to supporting very small businesses and nonprofit organizations, and we put a great amount of labor and expertise into editing our newsletters. We appreciate paid subscriptions from all who can contribute in this way.
