I’m Bill Spindle, and here at The Energy Adventure(r) I share thoughts and discoveries about geopolitics, the energy transition and climate change.
I’ve covered this triangle of topics for three decades, much of the time with The Wall Street Journal and Cipher.
In 2024, I journeyed through Asia and South America with support from the Alicia Patterson Foundation. In 2022, with support from the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and the Centre for Policy Research in Delhi, I went on a six-month, 5,000 mile train journey through Indian the subcontinent to report on energy transition and climate change. My work has also appeared in The Atlantic and the New York Review of Books.
