PHP Fatal error after installing 2.6.17

I’m seeing a fatal error after installing 2.6.17:
[16-Sep-2026 17:54:10 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bbp_get_component_name() (previously declared in /home/mafwor5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/extend/buddypress/functions.php:34) in /home/mafwor5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/extend/buddypress/functions.php on line 34

Looks like the file is included twice.

Turns out the problem is with the bbp-style-pack plugin. If I patch that plugin it resolves the error. You can mark this as resolved.

Thanks for your support ticket in the style pack plugin.

I have done an update which should be live in a few hours – WordPress are now delaying releases so that moderators and security scanners can review changes before they reach users.

If anyone needs a release quicker, you can download from the WordPress site
