About The AutSide
Welcome. The AutSide is a reader-supported publication written by and for autistic people—especially those of us often left out of the dominant narratives. Here, I write longform essays on neurodivergence, care, education, justice, and language—centred in lived experience and shaped by a deep refusal to flatten complexity. If you're looking for neat categories, this might not be the right place. But if you're drawn to autistic thought as a form of resistance, poetry, pattern, and praxis—you’re in good company.
To keep this page clutter-free, I wrote a very detailed “about me” article. You can find it by clicking here.
Who I Am
I’m an autistic gestalt language processor, educator, and writer. You can read more of my story—including why I write the way I do—in this detailed introduction. But you don’t need a diagnosis or a shared label to be here. What matters is how we listen, how we show up, and how we choose to imagine otherwise.
