It's a scam
It's a scam. It doesn't work. They claim to transcribe the text, but that's not true. Once you pay, it only transcribes the first few lines, and you can't access the rest.
Please Beware of Their Sleazy Tactics
Their product simply doesn't deliver on what's shown to you on video demos.
What's worse is the billing practice...at signup they present a monthly payment option, but once your trial ends they charge the full annual fee. When you reach out for clarification, you'll receive a dismissive response essentially saying you're SOL and locked in due to their cancellation policy with the generous offer of forwarding your request to billing for "approval" to cancel at the next cycle... 12 months from now.
This isn't a billing misunderstanding...it's a deliberate tactic. Buyer beware.

SCAMMERS
don’t trust this app, they are scammers. the people running this are less than human, and don’t reply to these because they know they are criminals. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM
Free trial auto-converted into a $228 annual charge with no real warning
I started a free trial of ScreenApp. At the end of it, with no meaningful reminder beforehand, it silently converted into a $228 USD annual subscription. I have ADHD and did not hold the single cancellation date in my head, and no clear warning email came before the money was taken.
I contacted support the moment I saw the charge, cancelled straight away, and had not used the paid plan at all. I explained I am a student and that this was money I needed for my rent. They declined to simply refund it, pointed me at their cancellation policy, and sent me to a form with a 14 day wait. This charge has left me unable to cover my rent and facing homelessness.
My advice to anyone considering ScreenApp: check exactly when the trial converts, set your own reminder, and watch your bank statements closely. A trial that turns into a large annual charge with no clear warning, and a refund process this rigid, is not acceptable. Looking through the reviews here, I am plainly not the only person this has happened to.
Horrible!!
Horrible!!! Don't use it. Such a scam. I wanted to try it out so I type in all my personal information. Turns out there wanted to buy me the premium version to download my OWN Audio... I didn't ask for any service, I just wanted to download MY Audio. So please stay away from this fake
Try to steal money and rip off you…
Try to steal money and rip off you relies on forgetting trail
Obviously relies on people forgetting…
Obviously relies on people forgetting to unjoin during the trial period and then slugging them with a $200 USD annual subscription which they won’t refund even if you haven’t used it and you contact them within 12 hours of it charging you. Do not sign up.
keeps charging me over and over again…
keeps charging me over and over again -- regardless of their promise to refund or stop..... every week - over $300 i have to fight for.
Utterly predatory
Utterly predatory. I hope they get sued to oblivion.
Didnt save audio, high price, zero benefit
I used it to record a call, and it wouldnt save the audio file. Lost all of the information that i would have needed to review an interview I did. Worked when i tested it, but simply lost the entire recording i made after. Kept trying to offer me premium for an outrageous price, no way of seeing the actual benefits in the window. Horrible expirince even on free plan.
Stay away
Stay away - don’t give them any information. They make it impossible to cancel. It’s an absolute scam.
Same issue with the trial period
Same issue with the trial period, foolish me forgot about the date that they would charge me, charged 240 AUD, cancelled the membership with in 5 mins of being charged and contacted support, asked me too fill out a form, I did, been 3 days now sent an email every day no response, they did say it can take 14 days, if I don't get a response in 2 days I'll be contacting my bank to help get my money back
The microphone on this makes the audio…
The microphone on this makes the audio sound bad quality like im recording on a flip phone, so I don't believe it's actually getting the full extent of my voice
This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. The app is a piece of garbage, the price is extortionate and it is ridiculously difficult to cancel.
If I could give zero I would
If I could give zero I would.
The app does not work to the features it boasts about. Glitchy, and inaccurate.
They refuse to refund the disgustingly high subscription fee.
An absolute scam.
Please avoid.
Seriously underwhelming
I was looking for an AI app that would translate a recording of a demo into step by step training instructions with screenshots. Ambitious, maybe, but ScreenApp promised to do just that. I spent a whole day uploading the recordings and now that I have them translated into a 'manual' I see how utterly rubbish the results are. The same steps are repeated umpteen times with different words, sentences don't make sense, but the worst is that the really relevant content isn't even covered! 40 pages of 'manual' for about 10% of the relevant content from the video! Hard pass. I've now cancelled my free trial after having had to give my card details, I genuinely hope I don't get charged.
This company will stop at nothing but taking away your money.
I had subscribed to the trial using my debit card on which I keep a balance of 1.50 USD for probing purchases only. I was expecting the free trial to expire or at get notified before billing but I have been receiving messages that my card could not be billed a 168 USD. I have RECEIVED manual messages from staff prompting me to update my details. The last one was titled "3 rd attempt "but in reality it was their 7th. I found such behavior odd and decided to look them up. They are a trash service and am I glad for my burner card. The last email is from Andre who happens to be the CEO and founder. Imagine a CEO asking you to pay up..lol.. Besides, I went through my account and it now has a yearly subscription active despite the that fact that I have not paid for it. These guys ain't getting any of my money.

Took my money without any warning!i didn't even know i had any agreement with this company! Not even a warning note was sent either.
“Free trial” that turns into an annual charge — no refund, even with zero usage
I signed up for a 3-day free trial to see what ScreenApp offered. I quickly realized it wasn’t what I needed and did not use the platform at all.
Even so, the trial automatically converted into an annual subscription and I was charged for a full year. I did not intentionally choose an annual plan, and the sign-up experience was not clear enough for such a large charge.
Support confirmed the charge but refused to refund it, hiding behind their cancellation policy. They suggested a manual billing review form that may take up to 14 days, which feels like an attempt to delay and discourage customers.
This is a very unpleasant experience and feels like a classic “trial-to-annual” trap. I strongly recommend being extremely careful before entering your card details.
