After the first try, the website only displays the header, and the content area is empty. I’ve already wasted my time on this.

It's a great product but I've had ongoing issues with billing (getting billed for services I'm not using), customer support being unresponsive, and things that aren't worth it. I'm moving to another platform because there are so many good vibe coding platforms the customer service and high cost for what it actually is aren't worth it.

A decade ago I had an idea. A few C suite music and ad execs that you know by name believed in me. We raised $150K of the $1M we needed to build this mammoth platform.

We could only go so far with sweat equity devs. This beast would have taken a year and a team and a ton of cash to iterate and launch.

Today, in Lovable, I personally with no coding skillset, built 80% of it in less than an hour, at the expense of a few cocktails.

And it works. And at scale, we own the code to migrate to enterprise, which pales in comparison to our last brief pivot on Bubble.

If this trend continues, a decade's long dream will come true. And the best news, it is needed more than ever in music.

I’m giving it 2 stars; the free credit runs out very quickly. There aren't many fun features for the chatbot during creation, costs rack up fast, the credit can't be replenished, and you have to wait 30 days for it to reset.

The app is pretty good, but I think the recent changes in the credit pool and the fast consumption of credit are just eating up the app. It will not result in a good thing in the future.

I hold a PhD in Plant Molecular Genetics, and I am currently developing an AI-powered application for farmers using Lovable. My goal is to build a high-quality, practical tool that helps farmers make better decisions and improve their agricultural productivity.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to continue working on my project because my access has been restricted for the past few days.

As a researcher working to turn this idea into a real product, I am currently facing financial limitations and cannot afford expensive subscription fees at this stage. However, I am truly passionate about this project and determined to bring it to life.

I would be sincerely grateful if you could review my situation and consider helping me restore access or providing a temporary solution that would allow me to continue developing the app. Once the app becomes successful and starts generating revenue, I hope to be in a better position to cover its ongoing costs.

The absolute worst experience of my existing life !! Lovable is nothing but a lying, manipulative, cheating, crappy ai engine that is designed to drain your credit (wallet) and it’s not suitable for big projects, I have spent the worst two months of life with that thing and still .. I have to admit for a period of time maybe couple of weeks !! She was absolutely fast, efficient and honest, it was fun working with it !! But then things has changed and I am so close to have a stroke or aneurism because of that thing !! I just want to launch and move with my life and never ever I would use lovable or recommend it !! I AM SERIOUS !! Don’t do it !!

€2,195 spent, nearly six months of work, and repeated “fixes” that did not fix the problem

My experience with Lovable was expensive, exhausting and deeply disappointing.

Between April and September, I spent €2,195 on a subscription and credits to build a macroeconomic dashboard. I understood that AI development requires testing and iteration. I gave it nearly six months, provided detailed instructions and repeatedly paid for attempts to resolve problems.

Essential issues persisted or returned: missing data, incorrect displayed values and functionality that still failed after being described as fixed. I repeatedly had to explain that the supposedly resolved problem was still there. I was spending money without getting the reliable result I needed.

Lovable advertises “Build real apps, not just prototypes” and “The AI fixes your bugs.” Those claims bear little resemblance to my experience.

After switching to another provider, I got a working application within a few days. My previous preparation may have helped, but the difference was stark. After months of frustration with Lovable, that was particularly difficult to accept.

The complaint handling was equally disappointing. Lovable said it had reviewed my account and project, yet its replies provided no specific technical findings addressing the failures I reported. Its position remained that the credits had been used and would not be refunded. Even my proposal to settle for 50% was rejected.

Instead, I received 400 goodwill credits. More credits for a service I had lost confidence in were no meaningful resolution for me. The only monetary refund offered covers the unused portion of my annual subscription, which I have requested.

Some functionality was delivered. But after €2,195 and nearly six months, the application remained insufficiently reliable for my needs, and the company’s response left me feeling that the financial consequences were entirely mine to absorb.

Strong marketing. Repeated failed troubleshooting. A deeply unsatisfactory response when I asked for reimbursement. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Lovable.

Very powerful software! I'm building a SaaS app that has a lot of moving parts on the backend, and Lovable has far exceeded my expectations! This is more than just a website builder.
