The frame is fantastic quality and is already a big favourite with the kids and their friends.
I removed 1 star as it only came with a few of the pins to secure to the grass, meaning we had to purchase extra

Brilliant climbing frame, sturdy and excellent quality. Our gymnastics-crazy daughter is over the moon with it! We had been looking for decent set of monkey bars for months, but couldn't find any other than the wooden kits. The items arrived fast and there was nothing missing. The climbing frames are available in a variety of sizes, the frame feels safe and is relatively easy to put together after downloading assembly instructions. We got a good deal on the large frame with two extras. Great that other add ons are available and hope to add to the kit in time with the aerial hoop and rope. I'd definitely recommend the Growplay range.

This is a dishonest company. Australian fair trading rules state that a company must be open and honest in their promotions. Growplay is not. Its most recently ended promotion stated ‘Beat the Price Rise before September 21st’ offering 10% off frames. The VERY NEXT DAY it drops its newest promotion: 20% off frames. No price rise (the stick that drove the 10% off promotion) in sight. This is blatantly in opposition to the Fair Trading rules.

I thought about this purchase for a long time due to the cost, and spent ages working out which frame and components would work for us. I am SO glad that I took the plunge! The frame looks great in the garden and my children are absolutely loving playing with it! It’s been used daily.

Generally happy with the overall quality and build ability of the climbing frame. I would have preferred a paper instruction sheet but I guess downloading and printing it wasn't the end of the world. The main gripe I have is the ground anchors, these were absolutely useless and 2 of the 4 just snapped when screwed in leaving a shape spike that was impossible to remove luckily located under the respective leg.

The climbing frame is absolutely brilliant. My only criticism is that the instructions aren't the easiest to follow, but with patience it was ok. Certainly wouldn't put me off buying.

Can not overstate this enough. The experts—the people who make this, who sell it every day, who have all of the instructions for how everything could/should fit together—do not and will not provide you with instructions for the multi-thousand dollar unit you purchase. You will have to cobble together from several different manuals how to assemble any/all of what you buy and provide those manuals to a group of builders to construct this. Good luck!

We bought the Large Growplay frame for our 10yr old twin boys. Wish I had seen this type of thing years ago. It was well packaged and delivered with care and easy to assemble following the instructions. Recommend a fair few hours to assemble, my husband did it over a couple of evenings. We live on a hill and recommend the use of the leveling legs, although expensive it's a worthwhile extra! Our kids love the frame and it's a brilliant tool for building confidence and strength in many different ways! Highly recommend

We bought the compact model. The kids love it. I have a 6 and 8 year old and they love playing on this. We were very popular parents with their friends as well. We bought the additional steps as our 6 year old was going to struggle reaching the monkey bars. I would recommend buying these for younger or smaller children. We also bought the netball net which is excellent quality.
As a parent it is reassuringly sturdy. The pipes are really thick and sturdy. They feel like they are going to last forever. Everything is well put together.
Advice for putting it together: follow the instructions. Put together the sides and tops and bottoms before assembly (as instructed) do not think you know best and start putting one end together. We had to take it apart to add the net etc on! Totally our fault. It is a two person job. I cannot see how you could do it alone as the construction is robust and therefore heavy.
I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Title: Disappointing experience – missing parts, poor manuals, and ongoing delays
Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
I ordered a Growplay climbing frame which was delivered on 27/07/2026. Two weeks later, the set is sitting half-built in our garden because we still cannot assemble it due to missing and incorrect components.
The overall experience has been extremely frustrating:
• Missing & Incorrect Components: Key parts were missing straight out of the box. To make matters worse, when replacement parts finally arrived, Growplay sent the wrong items.
• No Inventory Checklist: There is no inventory list provided with the delivery, making it unnecessarily difficult to cross-check what arrived against what was actually ordered.
• Poor Instructions: The assembly manual is poorly laid out and hard to read, turning what should be a straightforward build into a chaotic guessing game.
Two weeks after delivery, we are still waiting for the correct replacement parts to arrive so our children can actually use the frame. Given the premium price tag of these sets, the quality control and customer support fall far short of expectations. I would strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before ordering.

The climbing frame arrived extremely well packaged and is very sturdy. I'm sure it will last a long time! It can be put up and dismantled quite easily once you know what goes where.

Quick delivery and our daughter loves her new climbing frame. We brought this for her as she has sensory processing disorder adhd and autism and has been using similar equipment as her therapy sessions and gives her the opportunity to self regulate at home.

Context:
With summer coming, the children getting older, and concerns around a comparatively sedentary lifestyle (from when I was child), I wanted to get something to keep the children entertained over the holidays, that would not only grow with them, but would also provide them (and me) some engaging exercise solutions too.
We have a relatively small garden - 14m x 10m of play space - and so we needed something that would have sufficient variety of activities without being too imposing.
It is worth noting that I initially purchased a similar product from a competitor - within the same price bracket - who clearly spent more money on advertising and less money on quality assurance. I sent it back after having numerous issues with both the quality of machining and the materials used. Growplay beat them hands down in both departments.
Delivery: Really quick, came on a pallet in boxes that were sub-25kg - single person lift in my eyes.
Build: it took me approx 6 hours, without any real issues. There were elements that said 2-person, but I managed to do 99% of it my own.
The tools provided were good quality and the only part of my toolset that I needed was a socket-wrench (spanner) and a mallet.
Everything goes together hand-tight during assembly and then tool-tightened at the end.
I did use a marker as I went round tightening just to make sure that I didn't miss anything.
The instructions could have been clearer, but were good enough to get the job done.
I particularly like the detail of putting which specific parts came from which specific box at each phase, along with the relevant fixings contained within each box, which translated almost to one box = one element of the build.
Two downsides:
One - the structure is held together through friction, meaning that you strip out a small area of coating everywhere you tighten the fittings - the implications of which are if you make a mistake, you will be left with a mark, if you adjust the height of the monkey bars, you will make a mark - I did both.
Two - I broke one of the ground anchors trying to get it in. I don't think that the anchor design is particularly good/easy to get into the ground - even using something as a windlass - which is how I broke the anchor.
There are more effective designs which would no-doubt increase the cost, but would result in a better outcome for one of the critical of systems in this build.
note: In the Growplay's defence, the ground is solid after all of the heatwaves we had and I didn't think to soak the area first to allow for easier installation.
Usage
Safety: I had my concerns about a friction-based system, but I have had a swing around on all components and found no issues. Given that I weigh significantly more than I would like (90kg) it was reassuring to see that there was no inadvertent movement flexing. Everything seems to be made from good quality materials that will survive the UK weather.
Play: The children (11 and 8) love it. There is enough variety of activities that they're not fighting, they are definitely stretching the limits of their physical strength and agility along with their imagination on the games that they can play on it.
What would I do differently next time?
I would certainly buy the product again, but I would go for some different options in configuration.
We were lucky enough to get a ninja net as a free product - for me, it is too high off the ground and I wouldn't feel comfortable with my children up there unsupervised - I would either go for the cubby space or the elevated monkey bars.
I regret not getting the cargo net, and might purchase it as an add-on later, but would then have to do some deconstruction to get it on - given the mistakes that I made in the build process, I do not foresee that being an issue.
Overall: This is a solid 4* experience, with some minor tweaks - such as a better design on the ground anchors - that would bring it up to 5* quite quickly.

We bought the Compact. Overall the kids enjoy it and it feels safe enough.
However:
The ropes are all coarse plastic, which is not good for grip or feel. Most playgrounds use much better quality rope so it was disappointing to see costs cut here. We are looking to replace the cargo net with a jute one. The plastic rope on the rope ladder is also partially melted through due to manufacturing error.
The powder coating is good but scratches very easily during assembly. The monkey bars can be set at different levels but not because there are holes designed for this, instead you just tighten grub screws - so the bars are held up by friction alone, which further damages the coating.
The male-female screws do not hold well, especially as the frame wobbles a bit during use (Growplay say there should be small movement, so this is not user error!). Multiple pairs have worked themselves loose in the first month of use. I was surprised Growplay did not choose to use nylon lock nuts.
The ground screws bend very easily, meaning their radius is now too wide to fit within the frame.
The colours did not match the picture - it's a minor gripe, but that big bar at the front was sold to us as bright blue but is actually a much more boring grey. The pictures on the website have since changed so they were clearly just outdated when we bought.
For the amount of money it cost, I was a bit disappointed in the quality.
And also...keep an eye on the deals! We bought when we did because the "free net swing" (+10% off, +free delivery) deal was going to expire - which it did, to be replaced with the same but ALSO a free accessory up to £289.

Good product, terrible service.
Having bought the original frame last year, we wanted to buy an extension piece. It was unavailable for a long period of time (many months), but when it was supposedly available again we ordered it, paying over £400 up front. The order did not arrive, and after chasing the company we were told there were stock issues, then delivery issues, and the various expected delivery dates were missed.
The extension was eventually delivered two months late. Given I was going to be abroad on the new delivery date, I asked for the delivery to be delayed until I was back from holiday, but they delivered anyway and the item was left sat outside my front door.
There seems to be no regard for customer service or customer care, and I would not trust them again with my money up front. Their stock issues are clearly an ongoing problem, and seeing 'available' on their website does not translate to 'deliverable' in reality.
I have found the experience with this company to be really poor and whilst I am happy with the product I would no longer recommend the company to others.

Best thing we ever bought for our garden. The kids absolutely love the medium frame. They play on the monkey bars and others bars every day and use the football goal for practice shots. It was relatively easy to put together but a massive positive is that there is no digging required, no heavy blocks of concrete or ripping into turf like other play frames out there. Great piece of kit!
