Just returned from my 19th tour with Gate 1. Excellent value. Knowledgeable, kind tour guides. Seamless booking process. Great hotels & itineraries offered. We wait for our desired tour to go on sale before we buy. I’ll complete my 20th tour with Gate 1 in Feb, Sri Lanka.

The trip was exceptionally well organized. Providing wonderful cultural experiences cooking lessons, arts and crafts, historic temples, participation in daily city life activities (shopping, street food), religious rituals( the Queen being in State) as well as participation in rural life activities (diner in the home of a Thai family). The visit to the Opium Triangle was very informative and provided insight to American and World history. My favorite was visiting the Elephant Rescue Retreat an absolute "joy"! Our Gate 1 Tour Manager was exceptionally thoughtful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Of course, the very best was Phuket! Beautiful beaches amazing geographical formations. All of the hotels were well selected and appointed. The meals provided were wonderful and offered great variety. This was my sixth Gate 1 adventure and it was the best because of being so very all inclusive! I did not think anything could top South Africa. But, this 17 day Thailand experience did!

Expert local guides coupled with a experienced tour manager. Each gate1 tour is planned out with contingency plans for weather etc .

Most of your tour directors are amazing people, caring, knowledgeable, good leaders and organizers. They make or break a vacation. Listen to what people say and look into it. I’ve done many of your trips and only had 2 not very good at all tour leaders. Your hotels are good, the bus drivers amazing and always ready to give a hand to help exit and enter the bus. I’ve recommended you to lots of people and many are now customers. You truly do give us more of the world for less. Keep adding new experiences. I love Gate 1.

Great experience. The tour managers were engaging, informative and knowledgable.

It wasn't the trip we booked but it turned out ok except for too many 1 night stays. Never again with so many 1 nighters.

Great experience with Gate1. All representatives have great Customer service & very knowledgeable, Tour guides are great very caring & professional. So far we have done 4 tours all were great. Most important Gate1 chooses best hotels which is one of main criteria for old age travelers.

Showkey our guide ws very knowlegable. Gave us a lot of information about Morocco about its history and its laws. He was also very helpful in dos and don'ts and giving us any directtions for any resturants and suggestions. The trip was well balanced in places to go and taking us to its authentic food places and other entertainment.

My husband and I just returned from the Majestic Balkans small group tour and it was awesome! We saw so many things and learned so much about the 4 countries we visited. Our tour director Dusan was incredibly knowledgeable about all the sites we visited, but he also was very attentive annd caring and made sure all of the needs of the guests on the tour were met. Our driver Marian was an excellent driver and carefully navigated the sometimes challenging roads to keep us all safe. Thank you Gate 1 for another fabulous trip!!

A great guide (Jalol), with an excellent plan and a small group. Very well organized.

I’m loving the Stay & Explore format! No packing/repacking every other day, it’s a chance to see/learn more about it destination than just the touristic highlights. Like having the opportunity for independent meals (I’m not a fan of pre-set group meals). Hotels are exceptionally well located.

The Guide, Hisham, was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and took very good care of the group. Enjoyed all of the cities we explored and the accommodations were top notch…good location, good food and good staff

A very well planned and thoughtful tour. Having the same tour guide bus and driver was everything! Marija and Tibor were outstanding as well as the different guides for the cities.
