The tour really met out needs and desires.

The staff at Firebird were attentive and helpful and made the trip exactly what we wanted. The experience in Italy was better than I could've asked for. There were no problems with transfers, guides, etc. It was a dream come true and the whole family was beyond happy.

Firebird Tours provided great customer service before and during the trip. The entire experience felt first class and exceeded my high expectations given the price and the fact that I chose them over AAA. Firebird put together a tour that was more comprehensive, and feature filled compared to the package AAA put together. Firebird did all of this for less money and delivered a vacation of a lifetime that will have me singing their praises to anyone who asks. I will definitely use Firebird again on future vacations.

This was our first time doing a private tour and Firebird made it relatively easy. We just had to make dinner reservations. Our hotel locations were great and the drivers were on time and professional. Our guides were knowledgeable and engaging, making our first visit to Sicily and Malta very informative and enjoyable. I would use Firebird again, but perhaps do more pre-planning of local activities with help from the staff.

Disappointed with my experience with Firebird. Booked a three day custom tour in France; travel arrangements went smoothly but day 1 we found out Firebird had not confirmed with the local tour company so no guide or driver was available for us as scheduled. I had to initiate all communication and regularly check in for updates, as opposed to the company sending me any communication or updates. Additionally requests for clarification on details were met with passive aggressive responses from staff, which felt unnecessary.

We had the best guides, jam packed fun days, and it was all possible with this company. I have a new born and work a stressful first responder job so using a company plan a big trip was definetly a weight off my shoulder. I conveyed what I wanted, went back and forth for about a month planning with our coordinator, and bam. The trip was awesome!! I loved all the guides they were so sweet and wonderful. The hands off, hassle free planning really made traveling with a baby so easy! The locations of the hotels were all right in convenient spots, transportation was easy to understand and follow, and that app, THE APP. God I loved that app. You can pay, message, download and do anything on there. It’s like your Bible on hand. I had a little issue conveying we were traveling with 3 adults and a baby at first but after some back and forth we got it down. All the customer support teams were great and super descriptive with any questions I had. I loved the app, the app had all the plans and numbers I needed, a total life saver. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of is that no prices are ever discussed or conveyed. Loved the whole experience and will be using it again for our next trip, but, the price discrepancy is a bit odd

This is third trip with Firebird. We had no issues with first 2 trips. On this trip we encountered lapses in planning and reservations. The tour directors and tours are always great. The app is helpful.

Firebird did a great job in customizing a trip supporting my historical interests, I would recommend them to others and may use their services again.

I had a wonderful experience with Firebird and my tour planner Addison. I had planned to take a regularly organized tour with Firebird but had to shorten my trip in Japan to 7 days. Firebird offered to design something for those 7 days. I had been to Japan before and didn't want the standard sightseeing. I gave them 3 words: "Art, Culture, Food." on short notice, Addison designed an amazing trip for me that fit exactly what I had asked for. Hotels, transportation and amazing experiences that satisfied my need for Japanese "Art, Culture, Food." It was specifically designed to satisfy my interests. I highly recommend the company.

Royal Palace was nice but to much walking before palace. Toledo was great, Laura call me a cab to go from one attraction to the next. Gabrielle was also outstanding by adjusting pace to meet my needs. Both guides were excellent in knowledge and concerns for their charges.
Hotel staff was excellent at all three hotels but Victoria in Granada went above. When we did not answer wake up call hotel staffer came to our room to check on us. That made me feel they care about their customers.
Breakfast buffets were all good and increased with sections. Regina had a huge buffet that impressed us.

A great experience for 12 days in Poland. Excellent logistics -- drivers and guides showed up as expected, hotels had our reservations ready. Glad we opted for private car transfers between cities rather than trains. The Mercedes sedans for transfers were very comfortable, quiet, and their drivers were very professional.

The days were jam-packed and we should have planned more down time. I felt rushed with no time to sit at a cafe and or to shop.

Firebird Tours was great to work before and during our trip to Italy. I spoke with the agent and told them our budget and what we wanted to do while in Italy. They developed an itinerary and were very responsive to any changes I requested. I was a little apprehensive about doing everything through the app, but the response was always quick. We did contact the tour company while on our trip and they were very helpful and quick to respond. I will definitely use Firebird Tours for our next adventure.

We loved Switzerland and the trip went well.

My few issues with Firebird include:
1. The customer service timing and communication between booking the trip and getting firm commitments on the train and hotel reservations was poor. I had to initiate most of this communication. And as mentioned previously, we were not consulted in regards to what was booked - i.e. the train times chosen.

2. The seat reservations we got for the trains that required them (i.e Luzerne to Interlaken; Glacier Express) were not as expected. Both times we got Aisle seats rather than either of the windows.

3. The hotel in Wengen was disappointing. We loved the town but would not recommend the hotel.

4. We contacted Firebird customer service in regards to the Gornergrat tickets over a day ahead of time to ask about cancellation due to weather. It was scheduled to be very rainy and overcast.
The Gornergrat website mentioned tickets could be cancelled prior to 24 hours in advance. According to Firebird, the tickets were nonrefundable. We did NOT use these tickets as the weather was miserable and visibility was very limited. I'm not sure why nonrefundable tickets were booked.

5. Just a general comment - I used Firebird as my initial contact was located in Switzerland and appeared to be very knowledgeable of the country and what we should see and do. But she didn't mention that we'd only be dealing with her until we booked the trip. It would have been very beneficial if she let us know this was the case and handed us off to a specific person who could have explained the logistics to us. We were very unaware of how the trains worked, which were flexible. Knowing this in advance could have saved us and your customer service team a lot of headache.

I appreciated all the supports I received before and during my trips. All the staff is so helpful and really great to work with.

Our Central Europe trip was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel locations were outstanding: each was easy to navigate from, with restaurants, bars, jazz clubs, and public transportation all within easy reach. Our guides were fantastic, and Eric was a pleasure to work with in planning and coordinating the whole trip.

One small note: at our hotel in Český Krumlov, we never received the lockbox code, which made check-in more difficult than it needed to be. A clearer handoff of access details ahead of arrival would have helped. That aside, the experience was excellent, and I'd happily recommend it.

Hotel location in town made it easy to walk to multiple restaurants, sites and shops. Tour guide was excellent always on time and told us about culture and history of Iceland besides just the tour information.
Iceland is a great country to visit site were great and the people friendly.

The cities were amazing, and the firebird tourguides and the transfers really added to the trip enjoyment…great not to have to worry about those details!

I would like to highlight the guides and drivers by first name in each city. You absolutely picked some AMAZING guides; Angela in Capri / Positano, Lucia in Ravello / Sorrento and her driver Roberto, John the driver and Adele the guide in Paestum, Silvia and her driver Gaspar in Segesta / Erice were OUTSANDING, Carmello the driver/guide from Agrigento to Taormino, Manuella in Taormino, and Davide in our Mt Etna tour. ALL WERE ABSOLUTELY perfect. Informative, helpful, funny and personal. We loved all the people.

This was our first time using Fire Bird and taking a private tour for 2 couples. Overall the experience was great. The private guides were always on time and very knowledgeable. Sadly, heavy rains caused the government to shut down the main attractions we had tickets for months to see :-(

There were a few other hiccups but we were still able to enjoy our trip to Spain. Firebird was always quick to answer questions and I know will issue the refunds for cancelled experiences as promised.
