User identity is one of the most important components of many web and mobile applications.
The Pay.com API allows you to specify your own user identifiers that will be used to associate and track payment methods and other resources available within the Pay.com platform to the correct user.
Using your own User ID for the customer will allow you to reference users in the Pay.com dashboard, via the API, as well as in the webhooks and other integrations without tracking the User ID that was generated by Pay.com.
The relevant resources in the Pay.com API accept a parameter called customer_reference_id, use the parameter to supply the unique ID the user within your system to provide him the best shopping experience.
