Hello, I’m Alice, Welcome!
I’m an interpersonal psychotherapist, therapeutic coach, registered mental health nurse, writer, artist, and unschooling parent to two neurodivergent children.
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 47 and autism at 50. Which means I’ve spent most of my life not understanding why relationships felt so hard, why I kept getting things “wrong”, and why I was exhausted from trying to be someone I wasn’t.
Now? I get it. And I want you to get it too.
I work with late-discovered creative (yes we all are creative!) neurodivergent adults who are tired of people-pleasing, tired of masking, tired of feeling like they’re failing at relationships when really, they’ve just been trying to fit into a world that wasn’t built for their brain.
My work is about helping you understand your relational world. How you connect, how you communicate, where you mask, where you shrink, and where you’ve been surviving instead of thriving.
But more than that, it’s about finding joy.
Joy in finally understanding yourself. Joy in relationships that don’t drain you. Joy in saying what you need without guilt. Joy in being exactly who you are.
I bring over 30 years of mental health experience, professional training in interpersonal psychotherapy, and the messy, honest, lived experience of unmasking in my late forties. I’ve been where you are. The chaotic love life, the impulsive decisions, the friendships that imploded, the constant feeling that I was too much and not enough at the same time.
I know what it’s like to finally understand that you’re not broken. You’re just neurodivergent in a world that expected you to be something else.
Through this newsletter, I share relatable micro-moments, professional insights, and practical tools for navigating relationships, boundaries, communication, and the messy beautiful work of becoming yourself.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, self-identified, or just starting to wonder if you might be neurodivergent, you’re welcome here.
You’re a fabulous human being. Let me help you see that.
Alice is someone I’ve found has the ability to do just that…to make sense of those feelings and to process them for me, and then helpfully pop them into manageable little parcels and hand them back to me. With bows on. It’s more than just a learned skill, this comes from lived experience and a genuine desire to help people and to know…it’s rare to find someone who not only, ‘gets it’, so much, but can so perfectly describe how we all feel, whilst writing about it in a relatable and often entertaining way without seeming detached or like your therapist!
