Java Scanner Methods
Scanner Methods
The Scanner class can be used to obtain data from the keyboard, files and
strings.
A list of useful Scanner methods can be found in the table below.

close() Close the scanner object void
delimiter() Return the delimiter used to separate Pattern

findInLine() Return a string which matches a regular String
expression in the current line
findWithinHori Return a string which matches a regular String
zon() expression within a specified number of
characters
hasNext() Return true if another token can be found boolean
hasNextBoole Return true if the next token represents a boolean
an() boolean value
hasNextByte() Return true if the next token represents boolean
a byte value
hasNextDoubl Return true if the next token represents a boolean
e() number
hasNextFloat( Return true if the next token represents a boolean

available in the scanner
