for 3 days customers payments have been failing when trying to pay via teh stripe app.  3D Secure authentication keeps causing the customers paymenst to fail. i have spken to stripe 3 times and they advise its a woocomerce plugin issue.

this is the response from stripe

Regarding the three customers who aren’t receiving the 3D Secure authentication prompt, I checked the logs on our end and confirmed that 3D Secure is set to automatic, so it should be triggering when required. Since WooCommerce is the one collecting the payments on your site, the issue may be happening on that side of the flow rather than ours.

hello, thanks for the above but i have been using stripe on both of my websites since may of last year and all of a sudden both of my websites are having the same issue. surely it should not be down to me to figure out and check javascript erros or exlude pages from caching.

clearly something has happened on a techincal level that has caused this

the plugin on both sites are up to date

    Hi @andrewrobo!

I completely understand your frustration and I understand why you would expect us to investigate what may have changed rather than ask you to work through JavaScript errors or caching settings yourself.

We’re not currently seeing a widespread issue with SCA/3D Secure payments, so this may be something specific to the sites, their environment, or another factor affecting the payment flow.

To help us resolve this issue as quickly as possible and gather all the information we need, could you please contact us directly through WooCommerce Support?

You don’t need to explain everything again. Simply create a ticket and share the link to this support thread so our team can review the conversation and see all the troubleshooting steps we’ve already completed.

Once you’ve submitted the ticket, please let me know here. I’ll make sure we can follow up on it as quickly as possible and continue the investigation with you.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
