This is the time to ask what really turns you on about your life.

The projects you’d leap out of bed for. The conversations worth staying up until 3am for. The chance, bet, or doubling down that’s worth the uncertainty, because the glimmer of possibility negates all true risk.

If you want to be cerebrally turned on and courted by life, you must pursue it back. If you were watching the movie of your life in theaters right now, what scene would you currently be in? What would you be shouting at the characters to do next? This is the story you’re meant to write for the next six months.

Consider how, when a ship unfurls its sails, even changing course by a few degrees can alter the destination by thousands of miles with the wind at your back. Under a new moon in a mutable air sign, never underestimate how far a little boost of curiosity for your own life can take you, or the big impact of a small change.

Normally I caution against “what if” because excessive rumination is a mutable shadow, however… There’s too much changing in the air not to indulge the alternate timelines of your life at least a little bit! The only thing separating a hypothetical from reality is a bit of courage. How do you tell what’s true under this new moon? It’s simple — you can’t fake real interest.

I find it’s of the utmost importance to pay attention to what still holds your attention under this new moon, like an annual prayer to your muse. Your curiosity is a compass, but it’s also a dead giveaway for the ideas that feel expired like old milk in the fridge. Can you accept the permission slip of mutability to allow for your projects and priorities to shift accordingly?

Consider if you have a more fixed chart, how you might dig your heels in and beat a dead horse. If you’re exceedingly cardinal, remember not even your unyielding willpower is enough to make something work if the spark is gone. Mutable-heavy charts could be dizzy with too many options. Matters of the heart could be moving quickly (or not fast enough for your liking) now that Venus is in Leo, opposite Pluto. Over the past week the Venus-Jupiter conjunction was all the rage, inspiring expansion in the name of true belonging… but this adds a fiery and even explosive energy to the mix. You might get the urge to clarify where you stand, seek out big gestures in other people, or stir the pot just to feel something. I’d exercise and advise a bit of restraint, even in the form of cooling off for an hour before sending a strongly-worded reply.

Be mindful that you don’t stick your foot in your mouth on Saturday, as the moon forms a passing conjunction with Uranus on it’s way to greet the sun. If it’s something you really need to get off your chest, it can loosen your lips or aggravate what you’re keeping to yourself. Try writing down what you want to say before blurting it out. Even waiting the space of 20 minutes can give you a little bit more clarity as to whether or not it’s relevant, helpful, or necessary.

The planetary ruler of this new moon is in Cancer, which means we’re all a little more sensitive than meets the eye right now! Even words spoken in jest can strike a deeper cord than intended, especially with family. Truth can still be kind; thread that needle.

1st house: I would love to know what version of self you’re most excited to rise into over the next six months. Perhaps you’d like to start dressing differently, shift the narrative focus of your Substack, take a leap of faith or start sharing your voice more… With Venus in Leo moving through your house of communication and local community, I urge you to get out of your head this month and remember just how interesting and supportive your immediate surroundings truly are.

2nd house: If you’ve been feeling the urge to write as a new source of income, or launch a vertical that focuses on your voice, focus your intentions here. You deserve to take pride in your home, and this next month might reveal where you don’t feel seen enough or what really inspires you about your inner sanctum. The push to take up more space, or find a more pleasurable work/life balance could feel particularly strong. Prioritize what interests you the most right now! 3rd house: Despite the more impulsive side of your personality, you’re not someone who says things just to say them… this next month, it’s vital to honor what creatively lights you on fire. Conversely, when you have to force yourself to show interest, it’s as juicy as a bowl of plastic fruit. You and your audience both deserve for you to care about what you’re sharing.

4th house: It’s time to speak up in your family. Specifically, to feel like the main character in your daily life again. If you’ve been at the beck and call of others for so long that your life has lost its luster, now would be the time to self-advocate, even if your voice shakes. It might not be a conflict, it could just be a personal priority that you haven’t fully articulated that would help inform the people around you on how to love and support you best. Let’s not assume ill intent where there is simply a lack of information.

5th house: You and your muse have outgrown the talking phase. It’s time to bring these ideas to life over the next six months. This could also require carving out a little more space for yourself in your relationships. Your devotion is a beautiful thing, but how can we democratize that devotion to ensure that everything that lights you up has the necessary time and resources from you to thrive? Does your partner support your art and creativity? Do they celebrate your potential or distract you from it? If single, you need to be your own hypewoman right now.

6th house: If life has been throwing a lot at you lately and you feel like you’re juggling a dozen balls, it’s time to do an inventory of what actually matters. Your intentionality is often swamped by the rhythm of doing things just to do them — such is the constant hum of a mutable sign in a mutable house. Once you get bored or notice yourself coasting, things change fast. Let curiosity be your compass as you sift through everything on your plate. If you are not ravenously devoted, it shouldn’t be a priority right now. Desire matters more than ever, especially this next month.

7th house: Are you still curious about your partner? Your close friends? Or has the hum of constant companionship started to overshadow what drew you to them in the first place? If you can, these next six months would be a great time to get that spark back. If not, use this new moon to get the ball rolling on big or important conversations. The new activation of Venus in your chart could be an urge for a freedom in love that inspires an honest reflection right now. And if you need the reminder — you’re not asking for too much.

8th house: It’s time to name your desires, to write them down on paper. You might be someone who’s always afraid of journaling about things that are too intimate, fearful that it could fall into the hands of prying eyes. But your words are spells, and this longing cannot live solely within you. Give it space to breathe, somewhere to land outside of yourself. If you’re courting a new career, or it would make sense for you to step into more professional visibility this summer, name that! It’s in your favor. Where could you come out of your shell and own your mastery for the next six months?

9th house: Your social life is a bustling calendar and is only going to get more busy over the next month. Flap your wings, sweet butterfly, but remember to zoom out and keep an eye on the big picture as well. Your comings and goings add zest and inspiration, but let’s not teeter on the edge of distraction or going out for the sake of not having to sit in silence. What ideas have the chance to land when you ask what’s next in your life? What vision have you been putting off because the details feel unapproachable? Write an outline of your life for the next six months as if it was a pitch for a movie.

10th house: Career energy is gestating or stagnating right now and it’s entirely dependent on whether you’re allowing space to change your mind. You don’t have to do the same job, in the same place, on the same schedule. It can be different from a year or even a week ago, if you deem it necessary for your evolution. What in your professional life actually holds your interest right now? What small steps could you take to prioritize and re-focus here? Your subconscious is a seductive place this next month. Is there a dream bobbing just below the surface, waiting to be plucked out?

11th house: I want you to fall even deeper in love with yourself over the next month. To be surrounded by highly curated community that inspires you and fans your flames, six months from now. If you’re craving more connection, plant those seeds. Seek out the hobby, the third spaces — take your friend up on plans the next time they offer. It’s time to expand the surface radius of your life, especially as Jupiter lights you up and cranks the spotlight on full blast. Create more room for the blessings to land, and consider who you want around you when they do.

12th house: Are you confused or have you stopped listening to your intuition? Have you been staying busy as an override button for the truth lurking in your dreams? If you’ve had trouble sleeping lately, consider what conversations you’ve been avoiding with yourself. I would highly recommend a dream journal these next few nights. Keep pen and paper by your nightstand. Call your therapist. Tease out the dream, feeling, or nudge that’s been trying to get your attention. Astrological modes represent the architecture of motivating tension. They are the scaffolding of the zodiac; the foundation of a building won’t stand if none of the beams have enough tension to support the house.

This is why “friction” in astrology is actually a good thing and gets woefully misunderstood or sanded down for palatability. Modes are another language to understand the signs outside of their individual archetypes and elemental groupings. They answer the question, “what am I capable of when I master what doesn’t come naturally to me?”

Think about your favorite book, play, or movie. It wasn’t about a fully-realized character who never faced any obstacles, right? It’s called the hero’s journey for a reason! “Tense” aspects create the chafing friction necessary for you to challenge yourself and feel satisfied by your own effort. They’re karmic assignments to unpack and reintegrate, rather than oscillate between extremes or spin your wheels to exhaustion.

How does it work?
There are three modes with four signs in each one, including one from each element. They are four corners of a square, sitting 90° apart, which means oppositional pairs of zodiac signs belong to the same mode.

The reason these aspects are met with resistance is because signs in the same mode do not instinctively see eye to eye; they share foundational similarities, but each of their approaches are vastly different. (Think of all the different ways you can solve the same math equation. You’re essentially asking four very different brains to complete the same test!)

Cardinal signs in conversation: Can you charge forward while staying considerate of others? Can you build a home and legacy that don’t require you to sacrifice one for the other? (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)

Fixed signs in conversation: Can you generate your own stability while staying committed to your own evolution? Can you be visible and of service to the collective at the same time? (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)

Mutable signs in conversation: Can you be flexible and consistent simultaneously? Can you pay attention to the daily minutia without losing sight of the big picture? (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)

The same way siblings get under each other‘s skin but share the same laugh or eye color, the four signs of a mode are bound together by certain traits. As they mature, they see the value of sitting down at the table and working it out. Or not. That part is up to you. Some get along very well; that’s why oppositions are referred to as sister signs. That same pair could drive each other up the wall. It’s contextual and karmic! These signs ironically require the medicine of their “sibling signs” to figure it out. None exist in a vacuum; if you have 90° and 180° aspects in your chart, the question becomes: can you create the dialogue needed for cooperation, triumph, and eventual fulfillment? Or will you hit your head against the same wall forever?

Opposite “sister” signs and how they balance each other:

The compromise of Libra softens the brash edges of Aries, while the conviction of Aries encourages less people-pleasing from Libra.

The practicality of Taurus grounds the obsessive nature of Scorpio, while the desire of Scorpio urges Taurus out of its comfort zone.

The curiosity of Gemini helps Sagittarius stay present in the here and now, while the grandiosity of Sagittarius gets Gemini to remember the big picture.

The empathy of Cancer adds meaning to Capricorn’s ambition, while Capricorn’s sovereignty teaches Cancer how to put its own mask on before assisting others.

The joy and confidence of Leo challenges the haughty detachment of Aquarius, while Aquarian objectivity teaches Leo to have a thicker skin.

The intuition of Pisces invites Virgo to loosen its grip, while the pragmatism of Virgo provides the scaffolding for Pisces to give its dreams flesh and bone.

Each polarity provokes different reactions in us. You might have a ton of friends who are your opposite sign, or maybe there’s a few of them that you can’t stand. My two best friends to this day are Virgos, as was my roommate from hell in my early 20s. One expression of Virgo has my back and reminds me to file my taxes, and the other sent me a PDF list of what essential oils I wasn’t allowed to use in my own bedroom.

I can see the high and low road now of both dynamics. What do you see when someone in your opposite sign holds up a mirror? What gets projected on you through the polarity? Does it feel like a missing jigsaw piece or nails on a chalkboard?

Squares notoriously create more friction than oppositions.

Aries thinks Capricorn is a know-it-all and Cancer is a crybaby. Both 90° away from Aries, they chafe because they each have different definitions of leadership.

Taurus thinks Leo is full of itself and Aquarius is pretentious, because both are 90° away from Taurus. They chafe because they each have different causes worth being stubborn for.

Sagittarius thinks Pisces is wishy-washy and Virgo is a control freak, because they’re both 90° away from Sagittarius. They chafe because they each have entirely different definitions of what it means to be a contributor to society.

Wherever you have squares and oppositions in your own chart, these dynamic play out in real time through the kaleidoscopic context of planets, houses, and other aspects. They require effort and free will to get on the same page — to find a manageable middle ground. To stop oscillating between extremes, where one choice feels like a constant betrayal of another part of yourself.

You can think of the modes as body parts to understand how they operate as a whole. Fixed signs are the skeleton. Infrastructure, backbone, strong and unyielding. But you can’t get anywhere with bone rubbing against bone. Mutable signs are the ligaments and muscles offering flexibility and movement. The cardinal signs are the organs that instinctively take the lead without needing to be told to pump blood or send directions to the rest of the body.

But what if the most honest choice was the simplest option? Not the mental gymnastics of keeping everyone happy or convoluted yes-men group chats, but the answer that gets your whole body to relax. Soft jaw, big picture.

Here’s the thing about Sagittarius; it blows the lid off of passivity and calls you out for playing small. It gives your comfort zone a hickey and winks from across the room, as if daring you to want more. Choices based on paper merit rather than joy and purpose start to feel as thin as the card stock they’re printed on.

This is a blue moon, meaning the second full moon in a calendar month. It’s in conversation with the Scorpio transit on May 1, which pulled the curtain back and made us all more aware of our true desires. Now, Sagittarius offers the unyielding optimism necessary to act on it. With Mars in Taurus holding it down as the only planet in earth right now, the more simple a decision is allowed to feel, the more likely you are to act.

“But how do I know I’m not just running away?” The right choice won’t feel panicked and rushed, it will feel as inevitable as a sunrise. The exhale after holding your breath without realizing it. A skipped stone breaking the surface tension on the lake. Oh, that’s right, I remember. I see the big picture again. Relief like velvet, cool rain on hot skin. That’s how you know.

Does that mean it’ll feel easy? Not necessarily. Sagittarius is the reminder that our truth does not come bubble-wrapped. It can be the nip of a love bite or sharp enough to scrape bone. But many of us are conditioned to sand away the edges before we use the blade at all; namely, to clear away what no longer belongs, what doesn’t fit. What’s overgrown and choking out the life underneath.

3rd house: The important thing right now is not to get lost in the sauce. Your big ideas get sidetracked by small details that won’t matter in a year, and I need you to reality check yourself. What dream did you say you wanted six months ago, and have you started to say it out loud more? If you don’t say it, we’ll never know.

4th house: The itch to move or get more freedom at home is a little louder right now, and that’s normal. You’re allowed to rent the U-Haul, babe! To tell your mom exactly how you feel. To admit to your partner that you do or don’t want kids. What truth are you ripping the Band-Aid off of within your home and family right now?

5th house: You’re not an artist based on your rate of completion, but it is important that you hold yourself accountable to finishing what you make at some point. You have a contract with your muse and you’ve been bestowed ideas because she trusted you with them. What could you cross the finish line with right now, and where do you need to be reminded of the big picture of your own creativity?

6th house: The walls of your life might feel chafing, if you need a refresh or new perspective on your routines and obligations. A trip could be a temporary fix and dose of freedom that reminds you of your values. The changes you’re craving in your day-to-day life are much more attainable than you’re giving them credit to be right now. Make a list until it feels approachable again.

7th house: I’m just picturing Paul Revere riding through your relationship with his lantern announcing everything you’ve been keeping close to chest. You might feel like you can’t help but word-vomit to your partner or close friends right now. Take care of their heart, but remember that getting a truth off your chest is mutually beneficial. If you’re craving freedom, consider if that could that be in the best interest of all!

8th house: Ignoring your desires has been a lead weight wrapped around your ankles, and this full moon is ripping the curtain back and putting you on blast. It’s time to be honest about what you really want, even if it requires a big leap of faith or braving the unknown. If you need more freedom sexually, creatively, or if you desire to be met more deeply on an emotional level, now is the time to say it.

9th house: The direction of your projects, travels, or studies should feel more clear than they did six months ago. What has concluded or become more obvious? Where do you still have a hunger to acknowledge the elephant in the room in your life? You’re allowed to change your mind upon receiving new information these last six months.

10th house: Career freedom has been nipping at your heels for the last six months, so do a quick roll call of your responsibilities and how they’ve changed. Do you feel more free in work? Or are you still craving a big purge and change? I’m not saying you have to flip the whole game board over, but how do you want to define purpose with this one brief and precious life? Don’t stay in a day longer than you have to.

11th house: Some part of you yearns to see more of the world, to live a bigger life, to increase the surface radius of your community and connections. If you feel like you’ve been living under a glass jar, I need you to break the fourth wall and be honest about what you actually want your community to look like. Whether that requires a move, a friend break up, come-to-Jesus moment… The world is responding to your courage, not the other way around.

12th house: Your dreams feel limitless, and therein lies the problem sometimes. Do you have the scaffolding to support your own potential? You might be someone who needs proof of concept before making a big decision, but your dreams and subconscious urges are not based on precision, they are activated by joy, faith, and courage. What would you do if you didn’t need proof it was worth trying?

It’s the backbone of your value system. From nutrient dense soil to a high-yield savings account, to the mouthwatering meal you cooked with your own homegrown herbs, to the way the trees seem to hum with appreciation when you place your hands on their bark, to a well-brewed cup of coffee…

Taurus is the reminder of simplicity as a spiritual practice.

To hold the physical world in such high regard, the shadow is made plainly clear: fear of not having or being enough. Scarcity, lack, insecurity — and when those voices sink in their teeth, Taurus may start resisting change for fear of losing the ground they’ve gained, or be more susceptible to superficiality; hoarding wealth, conflation of importance with ownership, letting the material world speak for them while the true meaning gets lost amidst earning reports and designer labels. The risk of scarcity-based decisions is staying in a safe life when you were born to build a delicious one.

The new moon is at an Aries degree, ruled by Venus, currently in Gemini, which is caught in a wide yet approaching square to Neptune in Aries and a tight sextile to Mars and Chiron in Aries.

Simply put, this Taurus new moon is steeped in desire for resource independence. It could be highlighting how much you rely on your relationships to provide security, or how much you personally carry. Where you’ve learned to seek and derive worth, versus what actually feels wealthy in your body.

As you set intentions for the next six months until the Taurus full moon, whenever you notice your mind slipping into scarcity or fear, try this simple reframe:

Uranus conjunct Venus in Gemini is a great transit for saying the quiet parts out loud in your relationships. It’s almost over, meaning important conversations or unresolved tension could boil over one last time this week. April 15th to May 3rd, Venus and Uranus have been conjunct within 10° degrees. When the planet of electricity, reinvention, and disruption rattles the planet of love, sometimes even the most stable relationships hit a speed bump of anxiety, uncertainty, or discomfort. It can either be a spring cleaning for your love life in which both people come out of it feeling more heard and understood, or a reality check for whether you’re still on the same page.

Take advantage of Gemini as an effective communicator. Scorpio is the lie detector test. What should you be sharing with those closest to you? You deserve to get it off your chest, and they deserve to know. These transits are encouraging us to put all of our cards on the table. If you learn unexpected information or feel blindsided, I would encourage as much tenderness as possible while Jupiter is still in Cancer and our sensitivity is magnified in relationships.

Full moons are a peak, release, celebration. There’s no walking on eggshells. Feelings will get bigger throughout the week. When it comes to Scorpio transits, I always go back to the Robert Frost quote: “The only way out is through.” There is no shortcut that can circumvent the pit in your stomach, the fire in your throat, or the elephant blocking the fire escape. Sometimes, your intuition gets so loud that all you can do is leave through the door you entered.

Not every ending needs to be a lesson. What if your only job is to return to the seat of power in your own life before another day is spent on a path that requires you to betray yourself? To swallow your own tongue and call it the responsible choice? Scorpio reminds us that it’s actually irresponsible to ignore the tug towards why you’re really here, what actually matters, and what you truly want.

There is nothing subtle about a full moon chart with four planets in fire and three planets in air. This is the kind of chart that cannot keep a secret, which puts elusive Scorpio in quite a pickle. Endings that lead to expansion. Death that’s really compost, nurturing and energizing. There is always going to be a fear of failure, ending up alone, landing on your ass, regretting a choice. The question is, how much longer can I continue feeling the way I do now? One in which I can loudly claim desire without an asterisk or “maybe one day” or god forbid, never at all? One that’s juicy enough to dribble down my chin while actively choosing me back? 1st house: You shed layers of identity like a snake sheds its skin, and right now, the old you is starting to feel pretty itchy. With a full moon yod in your house of personhood and self-determination, the question is not, “who will you be next…” It’s actually, can you be honest about what you desire AND trust in your own ability to provide the materials for the dream? 2nd house: You’re feeling called towards a dream that you don’t quite have proof of concept for yet, and as a result, your scarcity story is a little louder than usual. Your community is bigger than you think, and I would recommend putting out feelers. “Do I have any friends in London? Phoenix? Wichita?” You’ll be surprised how many people pop up out of the woodwork when you actually give your community a chance to participate in your life. If you’ve been hunkered down for a while, it might feel like there’s a lot of red tape around starting over or taking a running leap. You don’t need to know where you want to go to admit that you can’t stay where you are — literally or figuratively.

5th house: Turns out you actually have to say the quiet part out loud! You’re ready to bust down doors in your career, Kool-Aid man style, but following your creative impulses also looks like using your voice, advocating for your dream, and explaining it to others. You’re a force of nature, but that doesn’t mean you need to do it all alone. Imagine if you were blindfolded and all you could feel was the magnetic pull of your next chapter. What dream would you follow, what direction would you go? That is what to say out loud under this full moon!

6th house: I want you to be obsessed with your life. Not just the big moments to look forward to; a promotion, vacation, accolade… But the coffee you drink in the morning, the soap you use in the shower, the friends you see for brunch… What would it take for you to become obsessed with your own life — again or for the first time? Safety is not a finite or binary number, person, city, or state of being. Even privately, in your journal first… But you need to take that step. The lesson right now is to take responsibility for the subconscious narratives that are impeding your ability to choose yourself and be independent when it counts. In order to go deeper with your partner, to find the desire you crave, you have to admit where you might have been outsourcing your power for the safe choice.

8th house: You’re in a bit of a catch-22 here… You might enjoy a reputation of independence that was well earned, but you still have people-pleasing habits that you fall into for the sake of ease and harmony. It might feel like maturity, to be able to put your own desires on the back burner for the sake of the well-being of others and the spaces you occupy… But there is zero doubt, with a Scorpio moon yod in your eighth house, that your freak flag has been flying at half mast for too long. Whatever you keep vague, undecided, or unannounced in your own life will feel increasingly erratic or frustrating until you name what it is you dream of creating and claim it with your own voice. This transit could heighten or reveal any attention deficits or insomnia, so in moments of overwhelm or when personal transits are closer to exact degree, I would highly recommend implementing more daily structure, nourishing foods, early bedtime, therapy, and keeping good friends nearby.

How it works: I use a 3° orb for outer planet transits. This is a widely shared rule of thumb!4 For Uranus, it can take 2.5-3 years to pass through those degrees in totality, meaning retrograde can stretch out the transit. A transit orb is the window of time when a passing planet is close enough to activate a personal placement in your chart.

Think of a transit as boiling water; the energy is still in the pot for all of Gemini, but it will be at its “hottest” for a specific length of time. As it gets closer to your degree, the water is warming… as it moves away, the water is cooling as you’re integrating those lessons. You’re allowed to reintroduce yourself as many times as necessary until you are in love with the version of you that walks through every door. Your confidence will grow the more you embrace your voice; the more you trust that your opinion matters. This could require boundaries as an embodiment practice; anyone who doubts your vision gets less access.

2nd house: Your value system is already shifting, can you feel it? It might be based around goals you thought were unattainable until now. New non-negotiables will emerge that require you to speak up and advocate for what really matters to you. This could include aiming to be heard in a more serious and professional way, like pitching to investors or selling a course or publishing a book. It’s time to give voice to the ideas you haven’t bet on until this point. What is stopping you, and if not now, when? You could experience financial fluctuations or changes to your sense of material stability that force you to recognize how your voice and ideas are your real money-makers.

If you’re in a long-term partnership, maybe it’s time to update your relational agreements. When Uranus senses dissatisfaction, it will stir the pot. Take what you read here with a grain of salt, but consider getting in front of this transit by creating more open dialogue around what you need, what feels good, and what doesn’t. 8th house: When lightning strikes the psyche, what gets revealed in the flash? Your definition of attraction, intimacy, desire, power, control, inheritance, and sex are all up for renegotiation during this time. This transit is meant to ensure that you’re not spending your life in service to someone else’s dream, trudging after a purpose you’ve outgrown. You’ve got a new professional era on the horizon and plenty of gifts and interests to back it up. Your true callings will feel re-awakened during this time; careers for the sake of safety will feel challenged.

As the moon enters the mix, it brings us up to six planets (plus Chiron) in Aries for an unprecedented 48 hours. A fiery sky on the most internalized day of the month is like slow moving magma under the surface; dig a little deeper and you’ll notice the heat — of truth, desire, rage, excitement, frustration — is undeniable.

I don’t blame anyone for feeling melodramatic under a powder keg sky, but I have a genuine question — is Aries burning it all down or burning the falsities away? There is a difference, and whatever you’ve built upon deferring to others will feel like it can no longer proceed the way it has been.

Think about where you’ve been feeling frustrated in your own life lately… where the chips haven’t fallen as expected. What are you tired of settling for as “almost“ in your life? The dream you started chasing and then sidelined for the practical path…The love you stopped believing in after one dead end relationship…

I want you to be scathingly truthful with yourself about what you’ve been waiting for. Someone else, perhaps more qualified or with better resources to provide the answer? For the “right timing“ that keeps suspiciously slipping further and further away? Consider where there is no white knight coming except the version of you that stops caring what other people think.

We get antsy on the brink of a paradigm shift (our egos doesn’t do too well with uncertainties or liminal space) but can we be honest with each other for a moment? What alternate timeline of your life is just a hop and skip away, on the other side of a running leap of faith?

On a day primed for intentions, with all the horsepower of six planets2 in Aries, now would be the time to plan your next move. Yes, that one — the one that makes your voice shake and heart race. The one you’d never be able to forgive yourself for putting off, but you know will change everything for the better.

Aries gets an enthusiastic, now-or-never reputation, but remember that new moons work well in 6-month cycles. You don’t have to hit a home run today. But can you travel a single base? If it’s not time sensitive, write a rage letter and seal it in an envelope. If you still want to say your piece after May 2 when Mercury takes a chill pill in Taurus, go for it. If you still have the urge to shake the bottle after May 18 when Mars cools its jets as well, don’t let anybody stop you! I don’t say any of this to temper divine rage; I say it as a flare through the fog, to cut through the mist that might disorient you into saying or doing things you might regret. If it matters today, it will still matter on Monday. It will still be relevant next month. For now, it might be enough to move the energy out of your body before lighting a match in a room you’re not in.

For the rest of April, specifically this week, get curious about the feeling underneath the rage. Inspiration gets stuck in resentment like a clogged artery of potential, and herein lies the chart of the moment. You might think (Mercury in Aries) that you want it, you might even be investing energy in that direction (Mars in Aries), you might have a lot to prove by doing it yourself (Chiron in Aries), but do you really know what it will take after the excitement fades (Saturn in Aries)? 1st house: You’ve been waxing on and on about who you want to be. You don’t like being perceived as someone who can’t make life happen for themselves, and yet, you might be in a curious holding pattern now that Saturn and Neptune have come along to cast an existential fog over your sense of personhood. Think of a time when you knew exactly who you were and what you wanted. What changed? Even if you want different things now, what could you do to get a version of that clarity back again?

2nd house: Have you been playing fast and loose with your value system? This can be a material or metaphorical “get rich quick“ fantasy getting reality-checked right now, and it brings up the need for patience — which can only be bought with a currency of self-trust. Get clear about what you want to be working towards, and what investments in yourself can help you get there. Then ask, “do I really want it or do I just want other people to see that I have it?”

3rd house: What ideas have you stopped bringing up because you’re too self-conscious of the fact that you haven’t done them yet? Write them down, and then be honest about what the resistance actually looks like. Are there tangible obstacles, or just stories that live on loop here like a broken record? An idea is usually the most exciting when we first have them, but these next six months are about you deciding which ones to leave in the notes app and which to step in the ring for.

4th house: If you grew up around conflict or in a home that you felt the need to be free from at a young age, you might feel like a pioneer of belonging in your own right. This can feel lonely, but it’s also an opportunity, a clean slate to decide what home and family could actually look like on your own terms. Consider any conflict coming up on the home front right now, and whether it’s a fight worth having or just an old story rearing its head. What life are you choosing (and what are you leaving behind)?

5th house: Where do you need more creative independence in your life? This means making music without a label, self-publishing the manuscript collecting dust on your shelf, getting your friends together to shoot a proof of concept instead of waiting for big studio backing to pluck you out of obscurity. Maybe you feel disheartened by near misses, so it feels safer to blame the timing and wait for another opening. These next six months are about making your own (and for what it’s worth, I think you totally can).

6th house: you say you want your life to look different, but what are you actually doing about it? That is the core of your current frustrations. And I’m not talking about trying a different pilates studio or switching up your skincare routine. I’m asking you, point blank, how does your immediate life change when you acknowledge the independence you’ve been craving? Just because it feels scary doesn’t mean it’s not the right call. Baby steps will provide immediate relief, so don’t get too hung up on the first attempt being perfect.

7th house: Relationships are a team comprised of autonomous individuals coming together to build a shared life. When you lose that autonomy or insist on doing too much alone, however, it can feel harder and harder to find your way back — to yourself or each other. No one else can be your center of gravity. What relationship reality would you champion if you knew it was possible and you believed you deserved it?

8th house: Stop beating yourself up, please. While battles of all kinds rage on around you, the cavalry of the psyche is more your domain at the moment. Is it because you thought you’d have more to show by now? Is it because you’re still looking for a direction that feels worth chasing? Or is it that your old strategy of ‘burn it down and figure it out later’ isn’t really working anymore? What would it look like if you radically chose yourself for the next six months?

9th house: What would your life look like if you gave yourself permission to chase one specific direction for the next six months? I know, I know… I would never be one to deny your multitudes, but you might be feeling frustrated by piecemealing your progress as a result of having too many irons in the fire at once. Perhaps you’re even starting to wonder if you’re “cut out“ for a certain dream. I’m here to insist that you not doubt your own potential as a result of struggling to prioritize. This is the cosmic kickstart you might need to throw yourself fully in a certain direction.

10th house: Start acting like you already have the promotion, the lengthy waitlist, the booked out calendar, soldout retreat. How would you start moving differently if it was already happening? You get frustrated when you’re not taking your career into your own hands. You think, “if I hustle harder in my current position or business model, I’ll make it work eventually…” But your legacy is not built on compromise. Where could you afford to get a little less apologetic and go all in on a path of your choosing?

11th house: Go ahead and pause before you set off a grenade in the friend group. When you leave discord unaddressed for months or years on end, then the moment there’s a rupture, you risk throwing the baby out with the bathwater. This might be the season of friendship break-ups for you, but not everyone needs to go. You might just need to take a breather and talk that sh*t out when the sky cools down. First, the elephant in the chart. We can’t la-di-da-di-da our way around a T-square1 (and Saturn conjunct the sun, opposite the moon is the linchpin). It’s a sobering reminder of what no one else can offer us despite how much energy we might spend chasing it. What we need is to internally resource that fulfillment before we can expect cohesion with others. The low road of Libra is chasing a connection to fill a personal deficit, which is why certain relationships often feel one-sided and trigger attachment wounds.

We must acknowledge the precarious positioning of Venus in the sky right now, as the planetary ruler of this full moon! Libra answers to Venus, and its positioning deeply impacts how we experience this transit.

Venus just entered Taurus but it’s still catching on Chiron and Pluto like cashmere on a rosebush. Before we can soften into what is usually a comforting transit, we have to first admit where we are dissatisfied. Where have you been biting your tongue or subsisting on a diet of breadcrumbs, gaslighting yourself into phantom fullness to avoid the questions you’re afraid to answer? Inquires like:

• What do you value that you don’t currently have?

• Do you really want it, or is it based on someone else’s value system?

• What still feels destabilizing despite your best efforts?

• Can you examine the impact of boredom and complacency in your own life and relationships right now?

• Where are you playing it safe for fear that you cannot do it on your own?

Proximity to Chiron will lessen around April 5th, and Pluto by April 12th2. Venus will be in Taurus from March 30-April 23, but feel the most "like itself” for the last 10 days or so as a result of these tense aspects.

Despite Saturn in Aries being in Fall, one thing Saturn and Aries can both agree on is their shared distaste for complacency. By opposing this full moon, Saturn in Aries reminds us that sometimes the only wrong decision is to do nothing. Let’s not forget Libra is cardinal, her capacity vast! She doesn’t question “can I do this?” Libra is usually more worried about “who will this affect if I do?”

Saturn in Aries wants to rip the Band-Aid off, while Libra would prefer to leave it on until the adhesive dissolves in the shower. But a full moon is a flash in the pan; leave the truth untouched and it will fester.

In the house of 12° Libra3, where can we transform any current dissatisfaction into a doorway to the juicy and harmonious life you deserve?

1st house: You wear a lot of hats in a lot of spaces and for a lot of different people. You can spot the precise counter balance needed in any situation, and your instinct is to provide it. Consider what you’ve brought into balance more over the last six months, where in your identity you feel more harmonious — but notice if there’s any discordance, too. What hats are you tired of wearing? If Saturn is transiting your seventh house, the larger lesson here is that the quality of relationship you have with yourself becomes the blueprint that teaches everyone else how to show up in your life, what they can get away with, and what is expected. If you play every role out of habit, then you perpetuate a closed circuit where others grow to expect you to do everything, and by the time you get fed up, it’s often too late to delegate.

2nd house: What work have you done over the last six months to balance not just your checkbook, but your value system? What has become more important, and as a result, you’ve invested resources there? If you’re still dissatisfied financially or wish you had a steadier footing right now, this could be a good time to examine if you’re receiving enough support from others. You have a habit of energetically footing the bill, and this could be taking precious resources away from your own goals. What steam do you lose in your own passions by being a constant rock for others? Where could your partner, family, or friends contribute more (financially or otherwise)?

3rd house: How have you fallen more deeply in love with using your voice over the last six months? Which ideas have come to fruition? Conversely, can you admit where you’ve become distracted? With Saturn passing through your ninth, you’re feeling the pressure to blend the big picture with the daily details that need your attention. It can feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day or you don’t “know enough” to take it to the next level. Beware, indecision is one of the biggest root causes of dissatisfaction here, so let this full moon clear a few things up for you: what dream is worth the days of slog and toil? What is the best use of your mental energy right now? What is pulling your focus away from what really matters in the long run?

4th house: This is your annual audit on the home front! From the furniture in the living room to how the bills get paid to the boundaries with family to how chores and responsibilities are divvied up… Use your eye for design to examine the feng shui in your personal life. Is there energy stuck? If so, what can you do about it? The answer might be in your seventh house of partnership. Whoever you’re building a life with needs to own their role on the team. If you’re a Cancer rising, shake the energy out of your body. Notice if you feel physically constipated right now! Stuck energy manifests quite literally for you. I’d wager you have professional goals that require more external support around you, and now is a good time to ask for what you need.

5th house: Your fear of judgment creates artistic constipation, and then you wonder why you feel dissatisfied! I want to make sure the people with the closest access to you are your greatest champions and supporters. Is there anyone in your life who seeds self-doubt, preys on your insecurities, or makes you question your magic? This would be the time to protect your spark and creative instinct accordingly, or seek out friendships and communities that inspire you to be courageous and put your work out there. I’d also like you to use April to reconnect to your muse. Whatever divine pathways you can use as inspiration, bolster those connections. Venus in Taurus is the reminder that you don’t have to force or barter, your magic might just need a second to breathe.

6th house: Building a beautiful life requires us to peek beneath the floorboards. To vacuum under the rug. To verify the soil density before pouring concrete. You’re not someone who likes to dwell on the unsavory bits, which might mean it’s been a while since you changed the oil in your car or had a hard conversation. Your relationships also have a huge impact on your day-to-day well-being, and there might even be moments when other people take up all of your energy. But life isn’t a taping; we can’t fast forward through the hard parts. It’s also not a dress rehearsal, you are literally doing it live! Saturn is jogging you out of complacency to take full ownership of the inner workings of your daily life and the people you keep around you. Which relationships make your life feel easier and lighter, and who is energetically still leaving the toilet seat up?

7th house: For someone as independent and strong-willed as you are, others might not expect you’re a bit of a recovering people pleaser hidden in plain sight! Which is to say, for every step of your own you take, sacred union holds up a mirror and goes, how can you sustainably have both? I hope you’re feeling loved and raking in the big bucks right now, but I also hope you’re not settling and calling it “the right thing to do.” As Saturn makes its way through your first house, give yourself grace as you build a stronger architecture within your own identity over these next few years. There are rooms still being built that you will soon decide who gets access to.

8th house: To win the jackpot, you have to go all in. You might be someone who has a sequence of hidden tests that you consciously or unconsciously put people through to determine them trustworthy or deserving of your heart. This could stem from one major rupture or loss, or it could just be your process for feeling safe in partnership. But with Saturn in your second house, you’re being asked not to dance around your desires or outsource your sense of safety and security. Don’t let Libra’s fear of appearing unsavory keep you swimming in the shallow end when we both know you want to feel consumed by desire. That means playing your hand and refusing to settle or fold.

9th house: It’s time to take your ideas seriously so that you can start playing at the level you desire. Say your current dream or big picture vision out loud, and then examine who you’ve been prioritizing and where you’ve been putting your energy. Do those actions match up? Libra genuinely wants to know! With Saturn in your third house, the initial burst of energy and excitement is not enough. It might even feel like projects are taking longer, or have fine print you forgot to read. Who in your life supports your big ideas? Who makes you question them? You might teeter back and forth on the edge of a big decision, but once you leap, it feels magnificently freeing. Is there a leap you could be taking now? A gridlock you’re ready to break out of? 10th house: As I write this, I’m watching the stream that runs parallel to my house. There’s a large rock in the middle, and when the water hits it, it splits and flows into separate currents. Even still, the water all ends up in the same place. That’s you and your career! You get into a flow, and then you bump up against indecision: is this the path for me? Am I fulfilled? Do I really have a work-life balance? Then you must decide where you want to direct your energy. You cannot stay perched on top of that rock, you have to figure out how to go around it. The only wrong answer is to do nothing. All career movement is still informative and gets your soul where it needs to go in the end, converging into one stream.

11th house: Where are you feeling dissatisfied in your friendships? How has community started to feel shallow or artificially glued together? Notice which connections and spaces have grown and blossomed in the last six months, and which feel like a bowl of fake fruit; shiny from a distance, hollow up close. This is your annual reminder to get clear about who and where you are investing your energy in. You pride yourself on being able to get along with anyone and everyone, but I also happen to know you hate feeling caged or boxed in. That’s what trying to stay palatable to everyone does to you, and you’re at a point where it’s just not worth the energy spent or time lost. What parts of you feel betrayed or devalued by keeping the peace in spaces you’ve outgrown?

12th house: Your relationship patterns are actually a map of your subconscious. That is why I want you to use this full moon to check in with your higher self, your spiritual tools, and your relationship to the divine. Whenever a full moon happens in the house of dreams, it’s important to keep a journal by your bedside table, to reduce screen time and meditate these next few days — so that whatever messages are trying to reach you have the clearest channels possible. As that insight lands, consider the estuary in your subconscious where fantasy meets reality. These next few years are about learning how to build something that lasts, with Saturn in your sixth house inviting more independence and courage in your day to day life. If you’re riding out this final week with your head in the sand, remember stillness isn’t passive, that you have more power in this story than you think, and for the love of all that is holy, stop ghosting your therapist!

This analogy of making room in the garden showed up very literally in my life recently. I was giddy in the plant store with my partner, planning out the remaining space in our backyard. I absolutely loved the idea of alternating pink and red hibiscus. They were around two feet tall in their starter pots and I could see the layout so clearly in my mind… until my partner kindly tempered my double-Aries enthusiasm with the reminder that this plant can get up to fifteen feet tall. We do not have the vertical space for that! They would eventually clash with taller foliage already planted there. It forced me to consider what we do have space for and plan with the next five years of growth in mind.

Have you considered the amount of space that your dreams will take up in your life this year? Whether or not your existing commitments leave room and resources for what’s next, for what you say you want? It is not enough to plant — we are also responsible for the conditions that allow our goals to flourish.

I wish a vision board was enough — it’s not. The card pull, the life coach, the late-night hype up call with your bestie; there are all accoutrements of the work itself.

Instead of riding out this week with gritted teeth and a prayer, soften into it. Figure out what you can surrender to make space. Mercury retrograde says “go for it” — rip up the roots of any dying plants that are no longer providing nourishment to the surrounding ecosystem.

What is taking up space for the simple fact that it still exists? It’s easy to forget the necessity of pruning in Pisces season so that new growth can burst through in Aries, renewed and light and unburdened.

Mercury retrograde ends the day that Aries season starts, March 20th — so before we get that big burst of energy, remember that stillness is an active state of being; it is not passive; you are not twiddling your thumbs waiting for the clouds to break apart, for clarity to cut through. I picture a monk meditating; from the outside, it appears they are doing nothing, and yet their posture is perfect. They are engaged in the stillness, not simply riding it out. We’ve got five planets in water, four of them Pisces, Mercury is the only planet retrograde which feels even more pronounced as a result, the Sun is conjunct Neptune 3° apart, Saturn is close by within 5°, the sun and moon sit in a perfect sextile to Uranus at 28° Taurus, with Mercury and the north node exactly conjunct at 8° Pisces. Here’s how that’s coming through for me:

Mercury and Mars conjunct the north node in Pisces is the reminder that your thoughts and actions must be aligned in pursuit of the dream you say you want. If you’re putting your mental energy into people, projects, or spaces that are counterintuitive to the end goal — or your energy is spread thin beating a dead horse or playing pin the tail and the donkey, now is the time to clock it and rip the blindfold off.

Despite only having one planet in earth right now, Sun conjunct Saturn is a weighty presence, prompting Pisces to sharpen the point of the dream so that Aries can be the tip of the spear that sees it through.

Even with Saturn holding the fort down (read: holding on for dear life), Sun conjunct Neptune is a tighter aspect and adds a kaleidoscopic distortion to reality, heightening sensitivity while making fact and fiction indistinguishable from one another.

The tight trine between Mars in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer feels pronounced because this new moon is also sitting at a Cancer degree. Simply put, you might not be able to detangle your heightened sensitivity at home and in private with the dream you feel called to chase. It’s okay that it all feels like a sensitive blob. This is revealing where we need more emotional boundaries and reality checks to remember the plot.

The exact degree sextile between the luminaries in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus is a wake up call right now… Before you breach the surface and get out of the murky, weightless depth of your dreamscape, what are your non-negotiables? Uranus in Taurus asks, “even when everything is reinvented, what value system remains?” The zesty boost of this sextile is the reminder that we can invest in our softness only because we trust our ability to preserve it through boundaries, intention, and action. 1st house: If you’re neck deep in an existential crisis, try this (and if you’re not, humor me)! Take a sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle. On the lefthand side, describe how you see yourself. On the righthand side, describe how others see you. You can even ask a few trusted people for insight. The karmic challenge of this season, should you be willing to accept, is bringing your sense of identity and soul back into a state of congruence. You shouldn’t have to lead secret lives just because you’re adaptable enough to mask up when it suits others. This might require detangling familial expectations from what brings you joy creatively, as well as the need to differentiate yourself financially and gain more independence there as well.

2nd house: It is not enough to have a dream bank account number on a vision board, or work with a mindset coach. Healing your own stories about money is important, yes… But in some ways, you might prefer the esoteric work instead of the tangible application. When all of that is said and done, do you have a 90-day plan for your business? When’s the last time you updated your budget and sat down with your bank statements? Have you organized your offerings by quarter into low and high ticket? Do an audit of your finances, work, and offerings to bridge the gap between where you say you want to be financially, and what is actually still required to get there.

3rd house: You have a lot to say, but right now it all feels like an amorphous blob with coats of Wite-Out layered on top. There’s an itchy sensation when a mutable sign is within another mutable house… The underpinnings of Gemini here want to keep it topical, fresh, moving along. But another part of you wants to find the deeper meaning before you announce it to the world. Your relationship could be taking up a lot of your energy right now, with Jupiter in Cancer playing house in your seventh! I love this for you! But can you use this season to make sure that your own opinions and ideations still have grounding and direction? How deeply are other people influencing what you think, say, and do? What would you give yourself permission to focus on if you didn’t have to go to bat for your priorities to get people to support them?

4th house: There is no separation of church and state in your life right now! You bring your work home, you bring your home to work, and everything is a sensitive, blurry mush. That might feel like cause for despair, but it’s actually a reminder of your multitudes. How much you can carry in a single breath, and how many more people look to you for guidance than you realize. 6th house: I saw a quote recently that said, “Every action is a vote for the person you want to be.” Herein lies the natural rub of having a sign in its opposite house; the undercurrent of Virgo wants you to make a plan to achieve the life you desire, but Pisces is easily led astray by side quests and daydreaming. Both have value in the right time and place, but this is about the foundational minutia that your life is built upon. During this retrograde, can you return to the necessary daily devotions that make your dreams possible in the first place? With the planet of abundance passing through your house of career, I know you feel the opportunity at your fingertips. But trining Mars in Pisces in your sixth house, this aspect is asking you to get clear about what is actually worth your time and attention when your energy and bandwidth is at its lowest, to help you keep your eye on the ball. 7th house: Whenever Mercury retrogrades in your house of relationships, you might send yourself into a tizzy rethinking everything. This is a cosmic audit to make sure you are actively choosing the relationship you’re in, and not simply going along with something because it maintains a comfortable status quo. I’m all for comfort, FYI! I don’t mean pull the ripcord and move into a caravan with a DJ you meet on Hinge. I simply mean that you have a tendency to absorb or shape shift in relationships. This retrograde has been a reevaluation of wherever you’ve lost sight of your own plot by living too deeply in someone else’s story.

8th house: You say you want more support, and I believe you; the responsibility now is to untangle yourself from all of your stories and obligations to let some air in, to create room for new pathways of delegation and support. Do you have room in your life for the intimacy and support you say you want? I recently had a client tell me she wants a relationship more than anything, but she never leaves her house. There is no mythological stork depositing her soulmate on her doorstep, which is say, you must put yourself in the line of sight of your desires. Whether that’s leaving the house to meet someone, or getting the back end of your business more organized so that you actually have tasks to delegate to the assistant you say you desperately need, figure out where you can create room to let people in over the next six months.

9th house: There is dreaming, and there is doing. You know this well, the familiar tickle of the romantic residing in the house of the explorer. It is not enough to romanticize where you want to go in life, you must build the business, book the ticket, do the outrageous thing. Your multitudes are part of your magic, and I’m not asking you to deny them; I’m asking you to prioritize. One of your biggest lessons in life is figuring out what to focus on, and when. You get burnt out with too many irons in the fire, and when you can only offer part of yourself to a dream, it never looks the way it did in your head. There is always a trade-off, a sacrifice, in order to do something well. Excellence requires a down payment of commitment. Where can you be honest with yourself about the timing, resources, and priorities of your dreams this year, and narrow it down to a specific area of focus for the next six months? Give the dreamer in your chart something to show for it by the time the full moon in Pisces rolls around in this house.

10th house: If you feel stuck or unmotivated in your career it might be because your spirit is being called in a direction you’ve been denying yourself. If Jupiter is in your second house, you might feel afraid to change what is financially working right now, or left wondering when the winds of luck will shift in your direction. Joy and abundance are ruled by the same planet because they are not meant to be treated as separate things! If you trusted you could make an abundant living do what you actually wanted to do, what would you give yourself permission to reassess right now? When Mercury goes retrograde in your house of purpose and ambition, it’s wise to turn your gaze to past dreams that were left half-baked, projects or goals you didn’t have the resources or skills to complete at the time. While your adaptability is a gift that helps you get along with most people, this is an important season to reassess the saying, “Like calls to like.” When you stand for everything, you appeal to no one. The formlessness of Pisces is being encouraged to figure out what the bedrock of your community actually is, and then stack a few more bricks on top of that in the next six months. Get engaged in the causes that matter to you. Speak up when something rubs you the wrong way, even at the risk of ruffling feathers. Put yourself out there online and IRL. Figure out where you want to belong at this point in your life!

12th house: Sometimes the difference between a dream worth doing and a delusion that must be avoided at all costs is as simple as asking, “What version of me wants that thing, and why? If I’m not yet that version of myself, am I excited to be her? What is she doing that I’m not? What does a day in her life look like, and how can I start designing my life more in that fashion?” Okay, maybe that’s not a simple question but it is life-saving and tremendously important. This is how we walk it in, how we make your subconscious nudges a reality. You must create a devotional practice in your life to the version of you that is capable of living and breathing that dream. If, along the way, you realize that’s not the lifestyle you want, that is also important and valuable information. Don’t wing it because you’re afraid you’ll change your mind. Planning gives you freedom later, I promise.

My grandmother is about to land and I’ve been putting last minute touches on my home in preparation for her visit. While doing laundry this morning, my Mars in Virgo hyper-fixated on the towels being folded the wrong way — they weren’t in the rectangular dimension I prefer and some of the seams were facing outward. (The horror!) Meanwhile, my laundry room looks like I’ve been fostering a Tasmanian devil.

My Virgo placements, like many others I know, don’t guarantee order across the board; it means the idea of order is just as easily a distraction, crutch, or hit of control that regulates a wily nervous system. Was re-folding the towels the best use of my time, or was I more concerned with the appearance of the linens over the mess behind closed doors?

Where in your life might you appear organized despite avoiding the real work? Under this Virgo eclipse, there might be rooms in your house or psyche that you’ve been avoiding. Consider asking this week, “What does my soul need that I’ve been putting off? What details and work have I been avoiding that I know are integral to the future I want to build?”

Don’t send your ego to do the work your soul signed up for.

Big changes don’t always drop like an anvil in the night; there are whispers, signs, symptoms. The wisdom of Virgo is the ability to notice those details before the diagnosis is irreversible. What veil is getting pulled back under this eclipse? What symptoms can you no longer ignore in this part of your life? Where do you need more sleep, organization, honesty, simplicity, transparency, focus, freedom?

I work with lunar eclipses as an intuitive and emotional revelation. When a shadow is cast over the emotional body, what feelings can we no longer hide from? A full moon is a spotlight, but a lunar eclipse obfuscates what is obvious, turning the high voltage inwards so we can figure out what actually wants our attention.

Despite the shadow of Virgo being procrastination, the areas of life Virgo rules absolutely detest being put off. These are the duties you must not shirk or shy away from, and yet; the need to do something perfectly is often the reason we don’t start at all. You must face the shadow of your unyielding expectations under this full moon. Excellence is a byproduct of devotion, not the other way around.

Many people experience Pisces season as a liminal haze, either relaxing or overwhelming, dreamy or foggy, creative or confusing — depending on the individual’s capacity to surrender and go with the flow. By nature, the Virgo full moon puts Piscean formlessness on blast, asking:

• What has softening taught you?

• What routines do you actually crave now that they aren’t expected of you?

• Where would greater diligence on your part actually create a deeper sense of peace?

• What are tangible avenues of service that put your bleeding heart to use?

The lunar nodes spend approximately 18 months in every oppositional axis, and when the luminaries get close, an eclipse occurs. This can feel as if the threads of fate are getting snipped, woven, and pulled taut. Patterns or themes become apparent around the dates in a set. It is not enough to love it or dream it, we must also have a plan. Listen to your body for cues when it is time to soften and when it is time to lock in. 1st house: Are there any physical symptoms you’ve been ignoring in your body since 2025? Around March and September, respectively? Eclipses in the house of physical identity can bring changes both material and metaphysical. Whether a crisis is rooted in literal identity, physical health, confidence, independence, or even your reason for existing… Notice how your body has carried the brunt of it all. Are you outgrowing relationships as a result? Are you prioritizing or putting off your own needs? Give yourself room to reintroduce yourself as needed. You are not stuck as any version of yourself just because it’s all you know, or all you’re known as. 2nd house: Have your financial fears been keeping you stuck in a paradigm that belongs to an old version of yourself? Are your ducks in a row, or have they flown the coop? This chapter of eclipses is pulling off the mask you’ve worn to maintain stability in your life, and is asking, “At what cost? Does this even really matter?“ You have a desire to be financially fulfilled while being of service in a way that also feels meaningful. You might stress over split hairs and then make other unconscious decisions that have a much bigger impact. Now is the time to dial it in and figure out what you actually value and if your spending habits confirm that. Your dollar spend is not all that I’m talking about; energy, time, nervous system, attention span… Journal or reflect: what do my spending habits actually prioritize in my life? Is that still aligned?

3rd house: You might say you don’t care what others think about you, and yet you privately lose a lot of sleep over it. It might change the way you show up, what you edit out, what you include, how you present, what you study, what you invest energy in. The opinions of family might carry particular influence. But more than anything, you want to be known as a trailblazer, someone whose independence is not compromised by the meddling of others. You are not an aimless vessel for family patterns being played out across generations, and you resent it when you notice that happening. Your voice is waiting for you to prove it. “Use me, use me!” it tries to shout from behind the duct tape. What are you maybe, finally, almost ready to start saying?

4th house: And when the price of peace is the tip of your own sword, what then? How many times must your emotional safety and pride be the credit line on which everyone else’s needs are charged? You’re craving more structure and routine at home for a reason, because it gives your ideas somewhere to land. You’re a creative, a dreamer, and you like being known that way, but there needs to be a container for the magic to be held privately. When you are everything to everyone else, there’s a lot less energy available to be the steward for your own magic. Despite that, you might professionally feel very inspired at the moment. What can you do at home to support your flourishing purpose? And if you still feel trapped in the haze, ask what symptoms are coming up at home that reveal where you need more structure to thrive?

5th house: How long have you been tinkering with the first draft? Of anything; a book, painting, poem, phase of your business, project, launch? Creatively, perfectionism is your biggest weakness. This eclipse season is revealing how little of a difference your impossible standards actually make when it comes time to be perceived in the world. Others see how much you care, and how much you love your craft. Everything else is a bonus. But it’s time to be honest about who all of these extra hoops are actually for. They might not even be for an editor or an audience, they’re just the price your ego has decided you must pay in order to be happy with your own work. If you fallen out of love with the creative spark that used to bring you joy, consider the symptoms that pop up around that feeling of disconnect. It doesn’t happen overnight, just like a divorce is never out of the blue. How can you woo your creativity back again? If you and your muse have been sleeping in separate rooms, now is the time to notice.

6th house: The daily devotional details that make your world go round are not arbitrary, and no one is forcing you to do that work… So stop acting like it! You might bemoan, “Do I really need this? Is this really my responsibility? Who would even notice if I didn’t/stopped/put it off?“ But the truth is, you notice. You signed up to cultivate a strong sense of personal authority in this lifetime, and that also includes not shirking off what you know is good for you. Whether it’s a simple as remembering to take your B12 vitamin, or file your taxes on time, or make your damn bed in the morning, right now you need to pay attention to the details, discipline, and devotional practices that you’d rather not be doing. With four planets in Pisces right now, you can find an endless supply of copouts… but the astrological new year is right around the corner, and your future self will thank you for holding your own feet to the fire right now.

7th house: And what if I told you the perfect partner doesn’t exist? That you find faults and flaws in others as self-protection against vulnerability, and dare I say, the scarier sides of intimacy? Being seen as imperfect, opening yourself up to misunderstanding or rejection, being witnessed at your lowest, outside of what can be explained or curated? The idea that anything works perfectly straight out of the box without any tweaks, replacement parts, batteries, or tutorial handbook is doing you a disservice in your love life. This doesn’t mean you should turn a person into a project and call them a soulmate, but it means you might be too hard on someone else or yourself in the process of creating an ecosystem where love can thrive in your life. If something is not working, what symptoms have you been avoiding? Or if you know it’s meant to be, what are you afraid of surrendering? Maybe it’s time to let go of control and see if the relationship can walk on its own.

8th house: You can read everyone else to filth with your eyes closed, but now it’s your turn. You cannot self-help, online course, virtual therapist your way out of this one. The last year and a half has been a purge of your psyche, bringing up fears of worth, belonging, self-sufficiency, and external reliance. You’ve seen change both structural and internal, and your need for control has grown in the after shock of these changes, understandably! But as a new frontier in your life approaches, you might need to soften your grip on the steering wheel. Love could feel lucky and expansive this year, but I need you to start with yourself first. Your inner devotion must rise to the frequency that you desire to be met at, externally. There is nothing in you that needs to be fixed before you are deemed lovable, but until you believe that, you will be stuck in a loop where you are chasing and avoiding. This could be the year that the story changes, but for now, journal and reflect on where you could trade control for acceptance in your own life.

9th house: If only there were enough years in a human lifespan to be a master of every field, prodigy at every instrument and sport, titan in every industry! This impossibility rattles around in your spirit, making it hard to commit to a direction or frontier in your own life. This is not due to a lack of focus, but an over-abundance of options. Consult with your future self. They know the difference between a life well lived and the distractions that cost you precious time. While I do agree that all of our life experiences culminate into information that helps us clarify the path, I think it’s also true that we can befuddle the process with our own stubbornness or avoidant tendencies. How have your dreams evolved in the last year and a half? Specifically, how you desire to be of service in the world? What feels worth the time and effort you must put in to call yourself a master of that craft?

10th house: You’re allowed to change your mind, even if you’re the best at it. Even if it’s all you’ve ever known, and all people know you for. Wherever you’ve been getting a career itch in the last year and a half, it’s not going away without some serious reflection and internal permission to address the root causes. You have a tendency to hyper-fixate on your career choices, picking it to death like a pimple that never heals. At the same time, you crave a deeper meaning that results in tangible impact. You’ll always be making micro adjustments on your path, but it should still be one that inspires devotion within you. You might feel an urge to go back to school this year, travel, or find inspiration on a different path, but use this time right now to journal or reflect on the symptoms that have been coming up around professional fulfillment and legacy.

11th house: If your career reached new heights this year, would you feel supported by and aligned with the community you are currently surrounded by? This eclipse could be revealing where you need to clean house in your friendships. That doesn’t necessarily mean cutting people off forever, in fact some of your most meaningful relationships will be those you gave the grace to grow and evolve with you… But we cannot succeed alone, and part of your plan for the future must also require an audit of who you invest your time in, and what you are building in your community. If you don’t have physical access to a network that aligns with your goals, you might even consider moving to find that physical support system. If your dreams are bigger than your small town or your high school friends, that’s okay. If your frequency is an amalgamation of those closest to you, what adjustments would you make to start moving through the world with the energy of your dreams in mind?

12th house: To want the dream is not the same thing as working for it, and you understand this better than most! Where you get tripped up is overthinking your intuition. You get indecisive, which keeps you suspended in time like the awkward phase of growing out a new haircut. Over the past year and a half, you’ve likely been noticing the cost of ignoring your intuition, and the breakthroughs that occur when you act on it without needing the receipts to trust yourself. What symptoms have been coming up in your subconscious? Your inklings, urges, vivid dreams? Pay close attention to the mood you wake up in these next few days and anything you can remember from your dreams. These are subliminal messages trying to break through. We build our lives on top of our subconscious, and it’s more important than ever that you pay attention to the story being told there right now.

Virgo or Pisces Sun: Your sense of personal identity is in fluctuation. There will be days you feel very confident in who you are, and days you question everything. This is to dissolve any smoke screens between who you are and who you want to be; the work you’re putting in and the action required to get there. Give yourself grace while allowing the plans or answers to shift over time.

Virgo or Pisces Moon: Your inner world is in a pressure cooker to re-imagine what emotional safety, fulfillment, and security looks like. What used to fulfill you might fall flat now, and this feeling could leave you wanting or seeking more. Get comfortable with the idea that the dream would not exist within you if you weren’t meant for it, but also that wanting something is not enough to get it. What action steps are required?

Sagittarius or Gemini Sun: You could be feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or spread thin with the friction of this eclipse access squaring your identity. This last year and a half has been a wake up call that you can’t do everything and be everyone, and that you do need to decide or make peace with a particular direction.

Sagittarius or Gemini Moon: You might not know exactly what you want anymore, but you’re doing your best to keep your options open and preserve your freedoms. With too many irons in the fire, you might be going through the motions despite not getting the proof you need that you’re doing the “right“ thing. With a lot of mutable activation, sometimes it’s best to just simplify your priorities and admit when your capacity and bandwidth is reduced.

Mutable angles (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces AC, DC, MC, IC [self, relationships, career, home]): it might feel as if the pillars that hold up your life are under construction. The dream is being confronted with the effort to get there, while best laid plans are disrupted or informed by inklings from spirit that urge you in a new direction. Give yourself grace, take that information in stride, ground this area of your life, notice any patterns you’re stuck in, be open to this area changing in a fundamental way.

Consider what dreams or intuitive nudges got passed over too quickly, pushed aside, or were left incomplete. We cannot elbow our way through Pisces any faster than we can run in a pool; sluggishly and comically slow. Wouldn’t you rather glide through?

This jaunt through Pisces lasts from February 25th to March 20th, delivering us to the doorstep of the spring equinox and Aries season. It is short, semi-sweet, and overlaps with an eclipse on March 3. Give yourself and others the benefit of the doubt during this time, as we wade between realms. As the existentially-looping fish leap between fountains of thought and battle sensory fatigue, my little prayer for the month ahead is that we remember everyone is much more tender than they appear.

In a world built on nervous system bombardment, think of this as one last inner attunement before Aries season. If it feels valuable, consider how surrender is the path. Stillness is the salve. Internal inquiry is the answer. What would it look like if you leaned in and made room for this retrograde as an esteemed guest rather than a robber holding your tasks and deadlines at gunpoint?

Mercury in Pisces is the poet, channel, dreamwalker. It has become one of my favorite placements in my own chart, and I’ve grown to think of her quite fondly! Placements in “fall” and “detriment” have a reputation for being sluggish, awkward, out of step… but there’s a tremendous amount of magic gets lost in that classification. When the archetype of a sign doesn’t come naturally to a planet, it has to work a little harder to find its groove there — and is rewarded for that effort over time. This is what it means to mature into your chart. I find it to be a bit of a superpower.

When mental functioning and brain power is in the sign of the mystic, the mind learns to swim and float in the realm which is unspoken, intuitive, empathetic; and when that door opens, entire worlds flow through. Yes, effort must be invested to bridge the psychic landscape with the spoken word, illusory image with practical application. When strengthened like any other muscle, Mercury in Pisces can mentally synthesize their intuition, setting them apart as artists, poets, mystics and the like. Where is the growth edge, you ask?

The growth edge of Mercury in Pisces is a wandering mind, escapist tendencies, a concealed inner world, a distortion between what you think and what you say, bouts of confusion, depression, existential haze, mental exhaustion, spiritual fatigue. The shadow can be supported by practicing regular energetic hygiene and taking responsibility for your thoughts — as obvious as that might sound. Resist letting the creativity of Pisces run away with an assumption, blossoming into an entire narrative that isn’t based in reality. Intuition is not a replacement for evidence, and the role of Mercury is to inquire, be curious, and ask the right questions. Here is where Pisces is put to the test and Mercury feels out of its depth in this sign; here, it must acquire proof that supports Piscean sensory observations and “show their work” on paper, so to speak.

Pisces medicine is the reminder that when you slow down and soften, everything — no matter how mundane — can be a devotional practice.

• Pick up or return to a creative outlet with no expectation on output. Watercolor, dance class, free poetry prompts online, writing class, painting, playing guitar. Notice the inspiration that comes through when you give yourself permission to create without expectation.

• Get plenty of sleep, but try to be up by the same time everyday. Pisces needs structure within which to soften! Be more diligent about a bedtime.

• Keep a journal by your nightstand for any ideas that come in the form of dreams.

• Drink tea before bed. Chamomile, lemon balm, lavender, peppermint.

• Make everything, no matter how mundane, a devotional practice.

8th house: Check in on the quality of your inner world. Catalogue the resources in the wings that you can call upon to take care of yourself, to clarify your vision, to support your dreams. Think of this as a toolbox. Friends, therapists, watercolors, naps, long baths… Recall and reaffirm what feels most supportive to your inner world during this retrograde. Do not strong-arm your way through this; softness is rebellion.

9th house: Notice which big-picture dreams resurface during this time. Any goals you put on the shelf or tucked away for a rainy day might have a way of poking through. Perhaps there’s a dream tied to travel or going back to school or finding a deeper sense of personal freedom, that you thought was previously unattainable or out of reach — now would be poignant time to revisit them.

10th house: Keep your side of the street clean where work is concerned. Double check the fine print, follow through, do what you say you’re going to do, and avoid over-committing. Can you create space to do less during this time, and notice what ideas and dreams arrive in the downtime? Remember, dreams choose you for a reason. If they tap you on the shoulder again and again, that’s for a reason, too.

11th house: Matters of friendship and community will arise, including your definition of belonging. What do you dream and yearn for in these spaces? If you could design your dream community and engagement, what would that look like? How many hours a month would you invest, what spaces would you like to participate in, and how similar or dissimilar does that look next to your current community ecosystem?

12th house: You cannot outrun the subconscious, nor the patterns and habits that live there. The dreams waiting in the wings, the stories you keep under lock and key. While Mercury waltzes through this private and hazy house, can you create room to acknowledge all of those parts of yourself? A daily meditation and journaling practice could be tremendously beneficial for you during this time. Spirit will make it very clear what is deserving of your energy and what is not.

A quick energetic roll call in this moment, just to name a few; we’re feeling the approach of Mercury retrograde in ten days, Saturn and Neptune are holding hands in Aries, the year of the Fire Horse is here, and eclipse season is kicking off in a new oppositional axis: Aquarius and Leo. (The nodes themselves don’t change signs until July, but are close enough in degree to the luminaries.)

All of which to say, it’s more important than ever that your dreams and actions are aligned. The added context of old hurt, lingering questions, and misunderstandings could be a cosmic emetic for big changes on the horizon. Where is your ego resisting a necessary liberation? Where is change more needed than you thought? What are authentic and sustainable measurements of collective engagement and stewardship in your life?

Personally, I love eclipses! Or rather, I treat them with the same respect as a big dog with a spiked collar sniffing my hand. They’re heavy-handed nudges that demand your attention. Look away for a moment and you’ll get dragged by the leash of fate. Eclipses are a pressure cooker for the choices or delays that have already been underway in your life. If you’ve been sitting at a crossroads, an eclipse may force your hand or expose the truth behind your confusion or indecision.

Eclipses are a reminder that we can feign confusion to others, our ego can tell us funny little stories, even our subconscious actions can lead us along a half-lived life… but we cannot lie to our karma, and our karma will never lie to us.

Eclipses are an activation of fate, and come with the reminder that you cannot outsmart it — whether from fear, obstinance, sheer will, or wishful thinking. (I should also clarify, when I use the word fate, I do not mean some passive path that you stumble into without effort or choice or reflection. I mean a magnetic compass your soul follows like a beacon, while the path you take is littered with the perils and triumphs of free will. Eclipses can clear the road blocks or smash the foundation; that part is up to you.)

I work with solar eclipses as an examination of ego, identity, and the subsequent erosion of any filters or falsities we’ve found comfort in, but are ultimately upholding an old paradigm of self. You’re meant to be outgrowing an identity that changes the way you show up in the world. It’s okay to feel like your life is a half-shoe size too small right now. [Insert another deep breath here.]

Entering a new eclipse axis is like sitting down to learn the rules of a new game. You might come to realize that what you thought was a winning hand, are useless cards within a new ruleset. Give yourself grace as revelations emerge that might not have been on your radar until now. If an issue comes up that you thought had been healed or dealt with already… This karmic activation is offering a fresh vantage point from which to examine what still requires attunement in your life. When a new eclipse axis is activated, it can feel like the universe is reshuffling the deck.

Aquarius and Leo are bound together in constant oscillation between finding freedom from convention and still having skin in the game. The seeds being planted today must be fertilized by the liberation your ego is resisting.

At a Cancer degree (28), this eclipse is also an invitation to tend to the home front first before the stakes grow in size over the next couple of years. It’s an added context clue that before making any sweeping changes externally, you might need to tend to your roots, family, and home. To acknowledge the intimate pockets of resistance, the small yet mighty revolutionary acts like apologizing to your sister or forgiving your mother. As overused as “be the change you wish to see in the world” might feel, if your personal praxis doesn’t hold up behind closed doors, how will it ever take its first breath in the world? We’re feeling stretched for a reason.

This new moon is ruled by Uranus, so it’s likely your nervous system or sleep is feeling affected. With Aries in the mix, focus on personal regulation before big external changes. You can’t unrip the bandaid, so give yourself space to figure out what rings true first.

1st house: This new season of change is kicking off in your house of embodiment and identity. You’ve done an inordinate amount of work to be comfortable in your own skin, and it is still okay if you can see where to push even deeper. Not in some never-ending quest for self-improvement, but as a permission slip that you are allowed to re-introduce yourself as many times as necessary, as frequently as necessary, the way your phone might go through regular software updates to run more smoothly. Consider what parts of your identity you are maintaining out of familiarity and what elements of yourself you could embody just 10% more. That direction will soon feel irrefutable as this eclipse season evolves.

2nd house: As this new eclipse season kicks off in your house of stability, values, resources, and financial matters, a few things could be happening. First, permission to realize you might not want what you thought you did. Despite how much you may have already invested in a specific path, this eclipse season is activating your houses of personal and external resources to liberate you from a sunk cost fallacy that feels half-empty. Larger conversations around that will come, but for now, consider what elements of your financial and tangible well-being are yearning to be reinvented beyond the bounds of what is “responsible“ or safe on paper.

3rd house: What used to interest you might be a total snoozefest now. Your interests and curiosities are evolving with you, but there’s a chance that your voice is known for a specific topic. If you have pigeonholed yourself into a certain lane or platform, you might notice you’ve been feeling uninspired or disillusioned lately. Your curiosity is not static or finite, and over the next couple of years, your voice is being fine tuned as an instrument for more. Until then, ask yourself what interests feel dead in the water, where you’re forcing yourself to stay focused, and if there are any topics of study or interest waiting in the wings for you to make a little more space for them.

4th house: You might be realizing you don’t want the life you thought you did; it could be big things like kids, marriage, mortgage; or it could be the apartment you’re renting, the town you took a chance on last year that still doesn’t feel like home. This new eclipse season will oscillate between highlighting your home and career, and it’s important to remember these areas of life are forever linked together. How do your choices in one affect the other? What would you change in one of them with a little more liberation in the other? Kick off this new season by examining the choices between both areas more deeply. Are you putting off change in one, for fear of disruption in the other?

5th house: Your initiation into this new eclipse axis is calling into focus what it means to be seen; the distance you keep between yourself and your art, between your dreams and the community that needs you to fulfill them. Take this moment to reflect on what you would create or prioritize if you “had more time“ or weren’t afraid of being judged for being a beginner or changing your mind again. Without judgment, can you tell the difference between what feels creatively alive in your spirit and what falls flat? Eclipses initiate a call and response within the spirit, and this might require you to reconstruct what it means to show up in the world around you and be the champion for your own creations.

6th house: What is worthy of your devotion? When you consider consistency as an act of love and a spiritual practice, you’ll feel less obliged to force effort where it does not feel natural. This is not to say that your effort must always be fueled by passion; there are days where even the right path takes work. But when you survey your daily habits, the commitments and trials that take your energy and therefore define your life, take note of the reasoning behind them. This new eclipse season is activating the difference between obligation and devotion in your life. What deserves more of you, and where are you feeling called to divest your energy?

7th house: The relationship you want is on the other side of the freedom you’re afraid to ask for, the boundary you’re worried will push them away, the conventions you were raised adhering to. This new eclipse cycle is activating your houses of relationships and personal identity. This work does not necessarily have to be done alone, nor does it spell doom for an existing relationship. But it is putting themes of avoidance and enmeshment under a microscope. What relationship growth edges do you foresee over the next two years? What is a small act of liberation you can choose now?

8th house: This new eclipse cycle kicks off by activating your house of privacy, personal depth, and inheritance — both tangible and spiritual. You may discover an area you’d like to alchemize deeper within your current space, or you might need a karmic nudge from the universe to trust your timing and try something new altogether. Career changes are scary, especially when we’ve built a reputation as being seen a certain way and offering a specific thing. The universe rewards action, and momentum is more self-sustaining than starting and stopping, questioning and rethinking. Think about your work life balance two years from now. What is required of you now to live that life in the future?

11th house: The frequency of your friendships is shifting. This can feel a little destabilizing, because we are deeply communal beings. This new cycle calls into focus the authenticity of your community and the subsequent effect it has on your confidence and conviction in your fifth house. If you’re too busy trying to fit in and keep certain relationships alive, you will, in turn, stay out of step with your own creativity and muses. Consider who in your life requires a performance in order to maintain the relationship. Examine the communities that no longer align the way they used to, or the way you had hoped. It is important you share these observations with yourself, and eventually them if that feels supportive. Not every ending has a villain.

12th house: Your subconscious realm is entering a major software update. Your relationship to spirit, any escapist tendencies or issues of avoidance, your relationship to substances, even your general outlook on spiritual areas of interest are all subject to karmic reevaluation over the next few years. Of the many Aquarian clients I’ve had, few grew up without having to mask, conform, or risk being misunderstood just for being themselves. The karmic imperative to disrupt usually arrives in a misunderstood package. There is a certain objectivity required to accept that the world refused to let you fit in for a reason. That being said, detachment is the first line of defense for an Aquarius trying to survive a family or society that does not understand them.

Objectivity and apathy are easy to mix up, but this is the high and low road... It is here, in the lofty upper reaches of the air element, where a dependency on theory, the devil’s advocate, nihilism, and even recreational drugs are all symptoms of a rebel without a cause. Aquarius doesn’t “fit in” because the wisdom bearer has a responsibility to stay above the fray, beyond the clutches of conformity — to stay committed to what’s possible even when the masses can’t see it just yet.

Aquarius is commonly mistaken for a water sign due to “aqua“ in the name and the chalice carrying water. But the hands that hold the vessel are dry, because the ones who carry the wisdom cannot afford to be overcome by its contents the way a more sensitive water sign might. I value the wisdom of the association, but I connect more deeply with the rulership of Uranus, discovered in 1781. Use what feels right for you. Saturn builds systems and structure. Uranus sparks the revolution needed to reinvent the old ways. The water bearer is a love child of both. Aquarius sees when a system is functioning exactly as designed, and therefore must be torn down. For this reason, notable activists often have prominent Aquarius placements. From civil rights to criminal justice reform to gender equality to environmentalism to art as revolution; the people who remind us of the big picture, who imagine a paradigm beyond our own, are the great liberators of each age. A flurry of posts followed by a week of silence and four different offers promoted at once; sound familiar? By being afraid to get pinned down for a single topic or put in a box, you make it confusing for people to identify what you’re about, leaving engagement surface level.

When Gemini embraces self promotion:
Lean into the power of storytelling to generate buzz, find your flow in relatable anecdotes that sell. Let people follow along with your life so that it doesn’t feel random; stay consistent so they know it’s all inextricably part of your brand. Reels that feel like a FaceTime with your bestie work very well here, especially if you have Mercury in Gemini.

When Cancer resists self-promotion:
Easily hurt by comments and outside opinions, emotionally drained by community building, stretched thin trying to wear every hat. Your energy and sensitivity can feel overwhelmed by the size of the Internet and share number of voices, notifications, and criticism that come along with it. You shell up and then wonder why you’re not getting through, or have a vulnerability hangover when you do open up!

When Cancer embraces self-promotion:
You’re meant to nurture your audience through community building, creating safe spaces, with emphasis on healing and organic cultivation. Niche down until social media feels like a gathering amongst friends, rather than shouting into the void. You can make just as much money with 1000 people primed for your offerings, than performing for 10,000+ that you don’t have an emotional connection with… don’t let size prevent you from leveraging your online presence!

Scared of not being taken seriously, flareups of imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, jealousy. At worst, you get bitter when other people do well because you think their success should be happening to you; the only difference is they have the courage to look cringe and post! You might get stuck in a self-fulfilling prophecy where you don’t want to be seen posting with no engagement, so you don’t post, overly filter yourself, archive what doesn’t “do well“ thereby stripping your page of it’s authenticity and a consistent digital footprint.

When Leo embraces self promotion:
You find your bag by being the brand, stepping into the spotlight, and making peace that you are not for everyone. Some videos are going to flop, and every once in a while, you’ll hit your mark and get a surge of growth, but you have to stay committed to your magic and offerings in the in-between… This is the secret to long-term growth! It’s not a popularity contest, it’s a test of your willingness to be consistently seen.

When Virgo resists self-promotion:
Too hung up on the process, nitpicking your own words and appearance, pushing the goal post back, debilitating procrastination. You edit the humanity and relatability out of your content because you’re hung up on someone else’s version of what your content should look like. But perfect is boring. And let me be clear, you are the opposite of bland! Letting people see the real you will not compromise their respect for your work.

When Virgo embraces self-promotion:
You trust that being seen is part of service, and that people love seeing the “real you.” Progress over perfection! If it’s taking too long to edit a video, post it in a more casual format. The irony is that when you try to be palatable to everyone, you’re actually more exposed to the underbelly of the Internet because the algorithm doesn’t know where to place you!

All of your multitudes are welcome on the same platform, people love seeing “behind the scenes“ in your life, and you’re free of the need to be totally put together. By embracing the reality that you will be misunderstood at one point or another, you can finally start recording your target audience with more specificity and relatability!

When Scorpio resists self-promotion:
Paranoid about putting yourself out there, afraid of the worst case scenarios, you avoid public vulnerability and make frequent “digital detox” disappearances. You’re allergic to fake shit, and there’s a lot of bluster on the Internet. You avoid it because it feels impersonal and lacks depth, but this turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy! Maybe your algorithm isn’t working for you because you won’t let anybody in.

When Scorpio embraces self-promotion:
You’re known for keeping it real, you provide tools for transformation, “what you see is what you get“ real talk that establishes invaluable trust with your audience. Your magnetism is undeniable, and you build meaningful connection with your audience when you let them see the raw, real you.

By leaning into your eccentricities, you naturally create a haven for folks who feel the same way, and that’s the kind of consumer connection that you can build a successful business on.

When a Pisces resists self-promotion:
You can be hard to pin down and go through periods of shrinking away from the spotlight, or fear that being perceived affects the integrity of your work. Your empathy is a gift, but it also makes you squirrelly with charging and self-promotion! The creative process of posting comes easily, but what about promoting the price of an offer? Sometimes, your urge to give everything away for free is actually a lack of energetic boundaries with your clients. Money and attention are both currencies, and you have to get confident standing firm on the price of access to you.

When Pisces embraces self-promotion:
You create offerings from a place of artistry and intuition, your content is heartfelt, and you don’t have to pretend to be anyone else or “play the game“ to be successful. The wisdom of the sea goat is often overlooked in favor of tangible qualities; discipline, work ethic, determination. But he is half water; briny, temporal knowing. This is where Capricorn inherits the intuition to decide which mountain is worth putting skin and bone on the line for.

Know this — Capricorn does not risk the steep cliffside to retrace another’s path. Despite that, there is a quality of lineage in Saturn, the timekeeper. Deep down, we can’t help but hope we earn the pride and respect of those who came before. But you cannot build a life on your father‘s definition of success; you are not the scabbard for your mother’s unrealized dreams. Capricorn shows us where your legacy is being cultivated in the birth chart. The part of us that anticipates (even welcomes!) the switchbacks without a view, the lack of shortcuts.

I no longer view January as a massive push for self-optimization and hustle. Long gone for me are the days of new workout challenges, regimens, diets, or business quotas. It’s never been my experience that the glorification of January sets the rest of my year up for success. In my early 20s, I’d arrive in March already feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, and disappointed in myself for not prevailing over the ancient wisdom of the earth through sheer will alone. Crazy, I know.

You hear that? That’s the sound of a thousand of us exhaling and shedding the frantic expectations of the new year. How reaffirming that so many of us feel similarly.

Of course, a clean slate is the moment you choose it, not an arbitrary date. I find resonance in seasonal and celestial timing that matches my energetic landscape, regardless of hemisphere or snow on the ground. Many cultures celebrate the new year around the spring equinox in March as well (but of course there’s the Chinese New Year in February, and others throughout the year).

I’d wager you’re here, reading this, because you agree astrology is one resource of many in your toolbox. You know a single framework is not the end-all-be-all. That’s where the sovereignty of Capricorn season kicks in; the ability to design your own paradigm, to live and breathe according to your own definition of success and longevity. We can use Capricorn season as a return to congruence between our inner and outer worlds. What we build visibly and what we tend to privately; what’s worth the investment of patience, the trials of effort. This season is an audit of longevity and purpose. It’s when we decide the seeds worth planting when the ground thaws.

Enter, the Cancer full moon. She’s the ultimate bullshit detector; nothing gets past her intuition. She asks Capricorn, “Whose definition of success is this, and is your heart really in it?” She is the time it takes to get the baby to term, for the bread to proof, the seed to germinate, the idea to land. Cancer reminds Capricorn a legacy can’t be built on a shaky foundation or a dream that isn’t yours.

Full moons can be connected back to the intentions you set under the new moon of the same sign, six months prior. What have you birthed or brought to life since June 2025? (What’s all grown up and doesn’t need you anymore? What are you smothering like a helicopter mom, or what are you neglecting like an absent one?) Cancer is the divinity of gestation, the birthing portal of all beings and ideas — soft touch, rallying cry, final push. Seed to fruit, tender guidance, fearsome defense of the defenseless. A bully in third grade, a friend of a friend at a work party in 2012, a passive aggressive comment from their mother-in-law four years ago… If you’ve left an emotional impression, a Cancer will remember. In the house of thirteen degrees Cancer, (find yours here) it is just as important to ask what feels true now, as it is to take material inventory. Cancer experiences the emotional realm so deeply, that the feeling creates the reality. For Cancerians, their personal history is either a tomb of timeless hurt or a tome of ancient wisdom. Her counterpart, Capricorn, teaches the sovereignty to claim the latter.

We have a few other pieces on the board today; Jupiter is conjunct the moon, and we know he expands, magnifies, and embellishes whatever he touches. When done to the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, at the highest energy point of the month, expect big feelings and revelations. The tight oppositions to Venus and Mars, combined with the square to Chiron, could be highlighting what you need to feel accomplished and loved, or what efforts and relationships require more nourishment now.

My invitation this weekend is to be your own historian. In the house of Cancer, what stories have lived here for so long you’re not even sure where they come from? Other questions to consider… what needs tending? What grew due to care and what withered due to neglect in the last six months? Bonus… how does your relationship with your mother impact this area of your life? What re-parenting could be done here? What legacy are you proud to carry and what burdens can you set down?

1st house: Since last summer, a new identity has been germinating under the surface, in the quiet womb of in-between, carefully poking her head through. Fear of disappointing your mother (or others) has less power over you than before, as the shedding deepens every year. The presence of Jupiter, however, has made it impossible to ignore what truly lights you up! And harder to pretend. Whenever Jupiter passes over your Ascendant, this makes/made maintaining falsities in your identity a tiresome burden. Jupiter often reveals where you’ve been mining for false gold before you find the real deposit. The sensitivity cracked open is your true north; it is the compass towards a life that requires no defenses, no pretending — where you are safe to be.

2nd house: You’ve been nurturing financial literacy and greater stability since June. Do a personal audit of what has paid off. Where do you feel more emotionally safe? 3rd house: You’ve been nurturing your voice since June, and it requires tender care. The way you speak to yourself is an act of inner child tenderness and sometimes re-parenting. Perhaps a written or spoken word project has come to life since then. A vlog, Substack, or first draft entering its second. When you talk to yourself, surveying your worth and progress, does your inner voice ever tend to sound like your mother? Honor the steps you have taken to be heard, and witness what else wants to be told.

4th house: If your home was a living, breathing thing… What would she ask for? What rooms or muscles would feel sore from overexertion, which corners or crafts would feel neglected and forgotten? Ask your home what it needs. Ask yourself what would feel most nourishing this weekend and go do it. The safety of your sanctuary, your alone time, self-care, and emotional boundaries have a massive influence on your life. What else have you learned over the last six months about what you need to feel safe and secure in your space? The urge to move or buy property could be strong since this summer. What big decisions around home and family do you still feel inspired to take?

5th house: Do you have a history of delaying your art to wait for external validation that may never come? Was your mother supportive of your creativity, or did you excavate her wound of unrealized dreams? You are here to be the matriarch of your own creativity, and even pull from your family story in your art. This can feel exposing, triggering projections from others. Consider all the ways you’ve nurtured your creativity since June, and if there are any elements of your family history that you feel called to pull from, that you have more courage to integrate now. What fear of being overexposed keeps your art from seeing the light of day? Can you give it the childhood you had, or wanted? Let your dreams grow too.

6th house: Your daily routines require nourishment and devotion. It can feel destabilizing when you don’t have a steady house or home environment. You might also tend to notice family patterns show up in your daily life. Be your own historian here. Do an audit of your daily habits, and consider their origin. Who modeled those behaviors first? Your job is to transition from mindless habit to conscious choice. Stories of victimhood may pollute or degrade your daily efficiency. What new life, what new daily reality, has broken through the surface since June?

7th house: Consider your relationship growth over the last six months! Jupiter‘s presence here is affirming for relationships and marriage, but it can also expand what’s not working to make room for abundance not yet defined. The shadow here is that you might baby or parent your partners; there could be an over-reliance on you. What relationship truths are coming up? Is that a story of the past? Relationships could deepen as Jupiter passes over the Descendant, also considered the point of serious commitment and marriage. 8th house: Your paradigm shifts when you give yourself permission to re-parent. Your matriarchal lineage has a deep impact on your psyche, for better and for worse. 10th house: A legacy means nothing without somewhere to return; without the ability to soften, rest, share a gentle touch. This is a great time to ask, “Do I know what I’m doing this for? Is this my definition of success or my family’s?” Whatever career strides you’ve made in the last six months, celebrate what you’ve brought into the world. What do you feel called to nourish next? All for stillness if it feels helpful, but also know Jupiter can supercharge your purpose during a 10th house transit. Honoring your intuition is key to your success. Are you having any revelations around the projects or directions that feel most alive, even if it’s a shift away from what you “should” be doing?

11th house: What community have you fostered in the past six months, or where have you taken on too much? Regardless of age or context, you easily become the mom friend, the one who makes sure everyone gets home safe, has a stocked fridge when hosting. Do you allow others to tend to you as deeply? It’s been a yearlong karmic quiz asking the same questions over and over:
Can you have faith when you’d rather have control? Can you differentiate between dreams and delusion? Can you surrender when you’d rather push forward? Can you keep the dream alive without any proof other than your own beating heart?

Even Sag, known for its relentless optimism, is susceptible to the inner critic under these conditions. Neptune and Saturn flirted with Aries from late spring to fall, offering a glimpse of what’s next… only to plunge us back into a confusing liminal vortex of what if’s, dead ends, and pipe dreams. (Neptune officially leaves Pisces on January 27, with Saturn not far behind on February 15, 2026.)

We rarely leave Pisces transits with tangible souvenirs. What we did get was a software update on our intuition, clarity on the dreams we’re leaving behind, and glimmers of insight. Under a lunation bogged down by cynicism, crises of faith, and bone-deep exhaustion, you might feel like the last thing you want to do is talk about shiny horizons; Jupiter says, tough luck! Expansion rarely feels abundant at first. I moved into my dream house and didn’t trust it for the first few months because the space felt weirdly open and quiet. My nervous system was wired for sirens and noisy neighbors and a bed that touched two walls. You can know what you want and still deny its gravitational pull.

The invitation this week is to wade through the voices that say ‘it’s pointless, better to give up now, who was I to think I could do that?’ to reach the vision on the other side. The one you secretly yearn for.

The wisdom of Sagittarius is less to do with being a walking encyclopedia, their degrees and passport stamps (although you can usually spot them in the hostel common room surrounded by an enraptured crowd). Sagittarius rules radical honesty; not just the bawdy jokes that get them kicked under the table, but the truth telling that begets the leap of faith that sets adventure in motion.

Mars is ubiquitously known as the god of war. What does that mean on a personal level? Prominent Mars in a birth chart2 (Aries rising, conjunct Sun, Moon, Rising, or an angle, in an angular house [1, 4, 7, 10] to name a few) indicates a “warrior spirit,” a trailblazer in that area, strong willpower, higher reactivity, courage, fearlessness in the face of adversity, and a drive for independence.

This is tangential, but evolutionary astrologers often refer to Mars as “a low octave of Pluto.” I don’t use this framing, personally. They are markedly different for a reason. Pluto acts as ancient, slow-moving magma, leveling the earth in great eruptions, landscape forever changed; Mars is a lightning storm striking a rotten tree, here and gone in an instant. Pluto destroys and remakes over time; Mars reacts to and handles the present. Both are needed, both are necessary. You don’t need a blow torch for the job of a hammer. There are no back-room dealings or subterfuge with Mars — it is all done with a flourish, in your face, in the now. Drive, action, initiation, response. Furthermore, outer planets are karmic directives, while inner planets are personal directives that live in foreground of the psyche. Mars can enact the karma of Pluto, but it’s no second fiddle.

Gemini reminds us we are allowed to change our minds at any time. Under the final full moon of the year, what beliefs are we being asked to leave behind? As the mutable air sign, we rely on this archetype to follow source energy wherever inspiration may lead, as deftly as a captain adjusts the sails to follow the shifting wind. Sailors make adjustments everyday, a few degrees at a time, to travel with the breeze at their backs. Too often we label Gemini fickle and changeable… When in truth, their versatility is a superpower. The winds of fate are blowing you in a specific direction, if only you’d unfurl your sails for long enough to listen.

The house of Gemini (and Mercury, of course) is where curiosity lives in your chart. It is the dock, the launching point, where ideas set sail from. The full moon operates as a flashlight revealing what is most alive, and what has drawn to a close. We see parts of ourselves more clearly under a full moon — not just because the energy is higher, but because a specific part of us is being featured under a strobe light. The ego and the emotional body pull taut once a month to bring something to our attention…

We must also allow this week to illuminate where the winds are shifting us away from an old idea or belief. The air element is a masterclass in non-attachment; air signs recognize that an idea can molt and morph many times before arriving at its final form and destination. As I write this, an arborist is cutting down a 95-foot tree in my backyard. The buzzing of the chainsaw in the background has been distracting, to say the least. Logically, I know it’s one bad gust away from falling on our house or the neighbor’s, that it’s an invasive species that grows too fast with dangerously shallow roots, that chopping it down will open up 4+ hours of sun for the fruit trees struggling to ripen. But choosing light and spaciousness still feels unsettling. I am mourning the canopy, the seclusion. I laid my hands on her trunk and told her goodbye after watching a video of a woman who talks to trees (I figured it was worth a shot). My brain is used to the backyard looking a certain way; I’m resistant to the scenery being remade. But I’m also curious what’ll grow in its place. I am excited to not live in fear of it crashing down, to feel the warm sun on my face in the morning. The human psyche is a repetitive creature; we become reliant on habits and scenery because they are familiar, not necessarily because it is the best or safest option for us. We’ve debated cutting this tree down for over a year, and now that it’s finally happening, you can feel the shift in the air; no take-backs. To me, Gemini alchemy is when an idea solidifies beyond talking ourselves in and out of it; there is simply the way the world looks on the heels of our choices.
