creativity is the way that life keeps life-ing. devoted service to the creative force doesn’t just benefit humanity, it benefits life itself.
i exist to serve the creative force. if you’re here, that’s probably true for you as well.
i want to encourage others to live in devoted service to the creative force alongside me, because i think it can help protect life.
i hope to encourage this first by leading by example.
underworlding displays the fruits of my own devotional creative process. it is the result of the way i show up creatively in the world. if the writing here speaks to you, that’s a good indicator that the methods and practises i use might also be of service to you.

here are a few important things to know about underworlding:
this project is wild. you’ll get at least 2 poems and 2 prose posts per month, likely more. but i don’t know what i’ll write about, and i don’t know how often i’ll write. i don’t make the rules, the muses do.
these are neither articles, nor arguments, nor essays. i will not provide solutions to your problems or answers to your questions. these are fragments, musings, embodied inquiries. these will be mental meanderings that start nowhere and end nowhere and go nowhere. these are dispatches from the dark wild interior.
i won’t be following traditional rules of grammar or capitalization here. i want to play with and deconstruct and compost all the rules. if that bothers you, go away.
