This week I’m sharing with you how to style loose silk pants for summer. Another staple that I believe every wardrobe needs. What I love about these trousers is how easy they are to just throw on and how effortlessly they can elevate the most simple looks.

During summer I like to style these pants with simple t-shirts, silk button-up shirts and even swimsuits. I also like mixing materials and pairing them with light knits. As you guys know I’m not one to wear a mini dress on its own, so pants like these look great under them.

I’ve put together six styling ideas which range from casual to evening. The heels can be swapped for flats in most of the looks. You can find the pants I’ve styled here if your wardrobe is in need of them.

In this letter we’re gonna take a look at how to style a denim jacket; an essential layering piece for spring and summer. It’s versatile, practical and looks even better over time.

When it comes to denim jackets I stick to a light shade of blue, and indigo, which looks great paired with darker tones. I also think a fitted denim jacket looks chicer than an oversize one. It’s an easy piece to style with almost everything in your wardrobe and it instantly gives the look a casual vibe. If I’m wearing a denim jacket with an evening look I usually keep other elements of the look casual too, so the jacket doesn’t feel super out of place - as you’ll see in one of the looks below. My favorite combinations are of course denim on denim, which can be a statement look, but I also love styling the denim jacket with contrasting materials like silk which elevates the look.

I’ve put together six looks showing you how to style the denim jacket for daytime, evening and other occasions. The jacket I’ve styled here is by Sézane from a while ago. You can find a similar one here and an indigo option here, which feels a little less casual.

I did some people-watching in March and thought I’d share some spring styling inspiration from the streets of Paris. It’s probably because of my stylist background why I’m always scanning the outfits I see on the streets. The details are what always catch my eye. I get inspired by the way other people put their looks together, especially if they’re wearing pieces I can find in my own wardrobe. Really good styling can also influence what we buy. At the moment I’m looking for a gray trench coat after spotting a few of them on the street and realizing how chic they can be when styled with basics.

Today we’re taking a look at spring styling ideas. Spring is one of my favorite seasons to be in Paris. By the time it comes around I’ve usually gotten tired of the few winter coats I’ve had on rotation all winter and can not wait to bring out my reliable trench coat and leather jacket. Spring is also the time when I get to start wearing my heels without socks again and I swap out my cashmere scarf for a silk bandana.

I like to keep my spring styling very simple and I wear most of my looks with my beige trench coat, which I have no problem rewearing daily. I’m drawn to combinations like a chunky knit with blue jeans and strappy sandals. I’m also very interested in the contrast between very elegant pieces combined with a vintage leather jacket.

Happy new year! I hope you all had an amazing holiday.

This year I spent the holidays in Paris for the first time ever. I usually go back to Helsinki, but I wanted to stay home this time. There was no snow in Paris, but we still did traditional Christmas things like ice skating at Grand Palais and baking. I took my holiday very seriously and avoided my inbox for 2 whole weeks and spent very little time online in general. I think it’s important to disconnect and reflect on the year and also think about my goals for the next one. I don’t celebrate new year’s eve, but I have a rule about spending my new year’s in the type of energy I want for the next year.

I make many lists during this time about: things I’m grateful for, things I wanna work on, etc. I thought I’d share my list of favorites from 2025 with you! There are a lot of gems here that you might find useful.

Outfit: This was my favorite look from 2025. I’ve reworn it many times while switching the accessories.

Accessories: Vintage African jewelry. Especially handmade wooden necklaces. The older I get the more I want to stay connected to my roots.

Purchase: Proenza Schouler sandals that I got myself for my birthday.

Store: 7ème Ciel at Printemps Haussmann. I only walk into stores when I have something specific I wanna buy, but I can’t resist browsing through 7ème Ciel every time I’m in the area.

Brand: Chelsea Mak. I’ve been focusing on small brands lately and this is one that I’m watching.

Vacation: Les Roches Rouges in Saint-Raphaël. It’s a little over-hyped, but there’s an opportunity for great hiking in the area with beautiful views of the Mediterranean sea.

Dinner plan: Hosting dinner parties at home.

Restaurant: Le Grand Café at Grand Palais. For the live jazz band and the dessert menu.

Exhibition: Tyler Mitchell’s ‘Wish This Was Real’.

Gallery: Maxime Flatry.

City: Paris, of course.

Treatment: The signature facial treatment done by Safiya Marbouh at Kristina Decourt. I went through a red light therapy nightmare with the Currentbody led mask last fall and Safiya really helped reset my skin.

Skincare products: Biologique Recherche Masque Vivant for smoothing skin texture and Indole 3 Carbinol supplement. I used to have really bad acne and what cured it was treating the issue internally. Years ago I cut out dairy, sugar and alcohol from my diet. Last year I added an I3C supplement, which is a chemical that comes from broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables. It helps regulate estrogen levels naturally so I no longer get hormonal acne.
