As some of you know, I’m a professor at MIT, Director of the MIT Initiative on The Digital Economy (IDE), former Chief Scientist at several startups, founding partner at Manifest Capital and the author of the recently released book The Hype Machine, about how social media is disrupting our world. My goal with this newsletter is to bring you relevant, actionable and novel insights on what I’m learning about the digital economy in my role as a business educator, entrepreneur, investor and author.

I am now setting up my newsletter delivery process and have decided to run on Substack because its simple. I don’t want anything getting in the way of the learnings and content and I don’t think any of us need any more bells and whistles.
