But first Dear readers all, let me congratulate you on surviving the Festivities, and may the Year about to be born bring us all greater Joy, Peace and Prosperity than ever before.
EVALUATION. Not being overly fascinated with statistics, it was nevertheless of interest to find that various mail and notes postings here have brought similar numbers of likes, comments, subscribers, followers, and now the restacks… Wow !! Also many delightful conversations with fellow stackers….
CONCLUSIONS. Having been steadily increasing my subscriptions to so many writing Gurus, digging for advice and tips, I bounce between much admiration and some dissent. Two common threads amongst Substack Authors are clear :- A). So much material is of a very personal nature, and B). An overriding passion for righting wrongs. Both threads are searching…… AND……. Giving. What reaches me best is the vast and enjoyable kaleidoscopic varieties of style and content betwixt the lines…… ie:- Individuality beats emulation every time…. I have learned that Grammatical (et al) perfection is not as important as my school teachers drummed into my hapless head,… Elmore Leonard puts it best - “I cant allow what we learned in English Composition to disrupt the sound & rhythm of the narrative”. So my First task as I strive to improve is to tidy up the rhythms of my posts, so here’s WHAT’S IN STORE FOR 24 -

I have read as you suggest, and would like to restack for Brennan in a new collaboration, still in development...... There are clues in my t'Otherwith Boy stories as to my own conditions - MPTSD, Autism, CPTSD. I write/comment more openly in notes. As a result I have been asked to do a semi regular guesting on related issues. I have lived an adventurous and unusual life, unaware of the latter two diagnosis until my 78th Birthday.
