HALLO ALL; I have been mentioning awhile that I posses an eclectic collection of books, a Library I inherited, that I wish to offer as a “thankyou” to my paid subscribers. Out of a remaining total of over 1,500, I now have photos of 120, and am currently looking at options on how to list and present them, perhaps via PDFs or a Website. Meanwhile however, having received my first payments this month, it’s time to show (front and back covers) of at least a few …..

All of the books I offer are 2nd hand, condition between good and like new. Although some of the older books could be described as reasonable to good. A few are even around a couple of hundred years old, many are quite unusual. Happy to send them free of charge to any address in the world. BTW, Adrian Henri is my all time favorite poet; Roger McGough is Paul McCartney’s Brother.

Paid subscribers will normally receive two books, but are asked to select four, in order of preference….. First come, first served - as I only have one copy of each (unless otherwise stated).

Requests Must be sent to me Only between the 8th and 14th Dec, and dispatched on Saturday the 16th Via Post NL (Dutch National postal service).

As I work through listing the books, I have started with the smaller lighter weight items, leaving the largest heaviest until last.

The illustrations on #009 & #010 show John Donne, who was apparently taught by one of my Ancestors. More on this another day…..

The Library that I inherited came from Paul Burwell of Bow Gamelan and the founder of the Boathouse - of which I write, inspired by the creative and sharing world of Paul and the crew. I am indebted to his memory. I find the same spirit at Substack.

As this project of thanks develops, I will in the new year commence with adding photos of the even bigger collection of mounted artprints that I wish to offer my subscribers.
