It’s nice that when one of Brad Pitt’s six children publicly confirms that they have no relationship with him, he can go out for a date night with his super cool and chill jewelry designer girlfriend Ines de Ramon. Such was the case last month when Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara Jolie (she dropped “Pitt” from her last name back in 2023) graduated from Spelman and Pitt was not there:

Pitt and de Ramon instead went to the world premiere of a car.

The same thing happened last weekend when Pitt and Jolie’s son Maddox Jolie filed to legally drop “Pitt” from his last name:

Pitt and de Ramon were photographed at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in Paris the day after the filing.

These two love music! Real fans will remember that they were first photographed together at a Bono concert in 2022. Pitt, meanwhile, has not been photographed with any of his children since 2016.

In happier random-girlfriend news: Chris Pine is still dating that hostess from Saffy’s. Her name is Keana Sky Wenger, and Just Jared writes that “she is said to be 30 years old.” Same. Pine, 45, and Wenger, 301, were photographed together at the French Open this week:

They look like they have fun.

Also still dating: Katy Perry and the former prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. In honor of their one-year anniversary coming up (!), Us Weekly published a big exclusive this week about how they are “blending” their families. (Perry, 41, has a five-year-old daughter with Orlando Bloom, and Trudeau, 54, has three teenagers with his ex-wife Sophie Trudeau.)

“Their relationship has deepened over the past several months, and they are about to celebrate their one-year anniversary,” a source told the tabloid. “They both feel it’s important to blend their families thoughtfully and at a comfortable pace.”

Trudeau reportedly bought a $3 million home in Montreal in February “where he wants her to live part of the year with him,” the source continued. “It’s large enough for a blended family and in a prestigious neighborhood where he used to live.” (With his wife…?)

The most talked-about couple in the tabloids this week is probably Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein, who have been promoting the hell out of their Netflix romcom Office Romance, out today. Sources have really been pushing the idea that the two hooked up on set, but dogged journalist Savannah Guthrie got them to admit point-blank on the Today show that they are not, in fact, dating:

Ah well.

The state has an open primary, so whoever the top two vote-getters are today will go to the general in November. Do you watch MobLand, which stars Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy, and Pierce Brosnan and is apparently in its second season on Paramount Plus? I had never heard of this show before this week, but there is reportedly so much drama on set that Dame Helen, 80, has been forced to make an Instagram statement about it.

Puck reported last week that Hardy has been dropped from the show’s yet-to-be-filmed third season because he was so difficult to work with — constantly asking for script rewrites, showing up late, and making Dame Helen wait. Hardy, 48, has been accused of this kind of behavior before; Charlize Theron reportedly could not stand working with him on Mad Max: Fury Road back in 2015.

According to a source who talked to The Hollywood Reporter, Hardy “refused to come out of his trailer for hours at a time” during filming. “He kept the cast waiting, a power play,” the source added.

A source told Variety, meanwhile, that Hardy’s lateness was “frustrating” for Mirren, but that she is not “anti-Tom.”

“I know she’s said to him a couple of times, ‘Come on Tom, we’ve been here for ages, let’s get on with it,’ but she’s never appeared to be anti-Tom,” the source said. “If she had a problem with Tom, she would have said to his face, ‘Look come on, let’s just stop wasting everyone else’s time and let’s get on with it.’ But that’s probably as far as it went. She’s not the sort of person who’s going to get involved in a whole political situation. She just isn’t. She certainly isn’t going to be one who stamps her feet and says ‘Well I’m not coming back if he’s in it.’ It’s just not her.”

As if to underline this source’s claim, Mirren posted the following on her Instagram last night after Variety’s story went live:

Variety reports that Hardy has not officially been fired from MobLand yet, so the show’s fans, whoever they may be, could still see him onscreen next season. I’ll wait for the official word from Mirren’s Instagram account.

Speaking of feuds: Both Scooter Braun and Olivia Rodrigo touched on their respective clashes with Taylor Swift this week. In an appearance on The New York Times’ “Popcast,” Rodrigo addressed the fan speculation about her alleged falling out with Swift over songwriting credits in 2021.

“I don’t really read too far into it,” she said. “I think it comes with the territory, and it’s par for the course. If I dove into every internet detective sleuth that got things right or wrong about my life or any of my relationships, I think I’d just go crazy. There’s not enough time in the day.”

Braun, meanwhile, was more direct in discussing his enmity with Swift, which began in 2019 after he purchased the label that owned her masters, in an appearance on the “Second Thought With Suzy Weiss” podcast. “I don’t know Taylor Swift,” said the new Mr. Sydney Sweeney. “I think I’ve met her in my life three times. I have never had a substantial conversation with her in my life. People are usually shocked to find out that I legitimately don’t know her and didn’t have many interactions with her and never really knew her.”

Ok! I guess neither of these people are going to her wedding. So far the only celebrity to confirm on record that they have been invited to the event of the summer is Suki Waterhouse. Love that gal.

Hours before Blake Lively appeared on the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday, wearing a cotton-candy Versace ball gown typical of her oeuvre, she settled her legal battle with her former It Ends With Us colleague Justin Baldoni. According to TMZ and others, no money exchanged hands (unless you count the tens of millions of dollars reportedly paid to Lively and Baldoni’s attorneys over the last two years). Lively didn’t even get an apology out of Baldoni. Instead, the pair’s primary attorneys released a statement that doesn’t make grammatical sense and seems to begin in the middle of a thought:

“The end product — the movie ‘It Ends With Us’ — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind. We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of…unproductive environments. What does that mean? Including a respectful environment online. Where is that clause supposed to go? This is what $60 million in attorneys’ fees gets you.

Of course, both sets of lawyers are claiming that their client “won.” And both Baldoni and Lively are attempting to project confidence to the public. The day after the settlement was announced, Baldoni and his wife, Emily Baldoni, went on a Backgrid pap stroll in their new adopted hometown of Nashville:

This guy is gonna start directing “values-based” films for Angel Studios or The Daily Wire in the next three to six months. At the very least, he’s getting a new podcast.

Lively and Ryan Reynolds also made a point to share that they are still married, after all of this, on Instagram:

And Lively gave some vague quotes about what walking the red carpet at the Met meant to her to Vogue. “Every year I am a different version of myself than the last, so to be able to stand in the version of myself that I am today — and all the experiences I’ve had — in strength and confidence is important to me,” she said.

Lively’s attorneys are still trying to get Baldoni to pay attorneys’ fees and damages, so I guess we’ll see what happens there. In the meantime, can someone check on Rainn Wilson? I’m worried he’s still praying.

Does Lively get to come to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding now? Perhaps Swift is considering this as she bops around London this week supporting some other B-tier members of the squad. Swift and Kelce were photographed catching Sadie Sink’s performance in Romeo & Juliet on the West End and also popping into Cara Delevingne’s older sister Poppy Delevingne’s 40th birthday party at the Bo Tree hotel last night.

Other guests at the party included Princesses Bea and Eugenie (the latter of whom announced this week that she’s pregnant with her third child), Nicky Hilton, Alexa Chung, and Lily James.

I can’t mention James in this newsletter without pointing to one of my favorite celebrity scandals of all time: When James and the very-married actor Dominic West were photographed making out all over Rome during the pandemic and then West had to go home to his wife in England and give the paparazzi a handwritten note that said “Our marriage is strong and we’re still very much together. Thank you.”

According to The Sun, James is dating a stuntman named Bobby Hanton now.

I have been following Pete Davidson’s relationship with Elsie Hewitt with some interest as the two had a baby together in December, three days before I gave birth to my second. Given my familiarity with this particular baby timeline, my suspicion is that Hewitt was pregnant or just about to be when Davidson started rolling out their relationship in the tabloids at the end of last March. (Sources insisted to Page Six at the time that Hewitt, a model and influencer with one million followers on Instagram, was a “non-celebrity” and thus “different” from the parade of famous women Davidson had dated in the past.) Now, both of our babies are hitting the four-month sleep regression, and Davidson and Hewitt’s relationship is reportedly hitting the skids. Makes sense!

“There are issues, but they’re trying to figure things out together,” a source exclusively told People yesterday. “They’re adjusting to parenthood and working through the process.”

Deuxmoi reports that the two are “spending time apart.” Another source told TMZ they are “working through a difficult time and sorting out what direction their relationship is heading.”

Ah well. Whatever the state of her relationship with Davidson, Hewitt has successfully pivoted to mommy influencer. In the last week, she has done Mother’s Day-themed Insta ads for both Pandora jewelry and Hanna Andersson kids clothes. She’ll be fine.

Speaking of babies, we have another pregnancy non-announcement to add to the trend pile. A few weeks after Elizabeth Olsen was papped looking obviously pregnant without saying anything about it, her fellow Avenger Sebastian Stan and his girlfriend Annabelle Wallis did their own silent, smiley pap stroll:

Also pap strolling but not pregnant as far as we know: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The two walked perfectly in step with each other in New York yesterday while carrying case-free iPhones and bags from The Row. The fact that they popped up this week has fans wondering if they will attend the Met Gala on Monday for the first time in seven years. We can but dream.

Zoë Kravitz will definitely be there, as she is chairing the host committee. (The official co-chairs are Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, and Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos are “honorary chairs” because they’re funding the whole thing.)

Will Kravitz’s new fiancé, Harry Styles, walk the red carpet with her? He has only attended the gala once, in 2019, when he was himself a co-chair. I bet he skips the carpet but is photographed at an after party. (NB this is how Kravitz and Channing Tatum played it when they were first dating in 2021.)

As we wait to learn whether Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will be in Rhode Island in June, New York City on July 3 (?), or somewhere over the Kármán line in a ceremony officiated by Jeff Bezos, there is a new, eight-carat engagement ring for us to consider. Page Six reports that Zoë Kravitz, 37, and Harry Styles, 32, are engaged after eight months of dating. Here ya go:

Kravitz was photographed with this XL diamond hanging onto her left ring finger for dear life in London over the weekend. The engagement has not yet been confirmed by the big guns (People), but according to Page Six, it’s for real. “No one in their circle is surprised,” a source told the site.

“He is completely smitten,” the source added of Styles. “He would jump off a cliff for her.”

Let’s pray it doesn’t come to that. This is Kravitz’s third engagement: She was married to actor Karl Glusman for about 18 months from 2019 to 2020, and she got engaged to Channing Tatum in 2023. Here’s hoping she’s got some new ideas for a wedding dress this time around:

Styles, meanwhile, has never been engaged, but he has dated a lot of women, including my favorite, Olivia Wilde. Also: Taylor Russell, Emily Ratjkowski, Kendall Jenner, approximately 14 fresh-faced British models, and Swift.

Is Swift bent out of shape over this relationship, considering that Kravitz has been a part of her “squad” for the last six or seven years? Apparently not. A source assured Us Weekly this week that Kravitz is still invited to Swift and Kelce’s wedding, wherever and whenever that may be.

Jenner, meanwhile, is “hanging out” with Jacob Elordi. The 30-year-old model/horse girl and 28-year-old actor were spotted in the crowd together during the first weekend of Coachella, and People has since confirmed that the two exchanged pleasantries even before that. “They’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months,” a source told the tabloid.

Elordi was on the awards circuit with Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet this past year, and the Daily Mail claims Kylie is encouraging the new relationship. I am thinking of Olivia Jade in this difficult time.

Btw, Kim Kardashian also has a new boyfriend, but it seems like no one cares? She’s been doing pap strolls with F1 driver Lewis Hamilton for the past couple months, and it’s just like…okay. She’s someone I would love to see get married again, though!

I miss Bennifer every day of my life. Ever since they finalized their divorce last year, I have been waiting for them to get back together again (again). This week, I’m hanging onto hope: TMZ reports that Ben Affleck gifted Jennifer Lopez his share in the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion the two bought together in 2023. Aww.

TMZ got this because they have reporters that simply hang out at LA courthouses, and one of them found that the exes filed a modified property settlement agreement that includes a “transfer of property among spouses.”

Bennifer initially paid cash for the house, so this is a considerable gift (that is, if J.Lo is ever able to sell the place – it’s been on the market since 2024). Affleck must be feeling flush after selling his stealth AI startup InterPositive to Netflix for $600 million. (Related: Did you see Reese Witherspoon’s unprompted announcement that she is ready to embrace AI, feministly? Wonder why.)

Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll get any details in the tabloids about a possible Bennifer reconciliation, because Lopez is currently invested in promoting her forthcoming Netflix romcom Office Romance. Sources really want us to believe that Lopez was hooking up with writer and co-star Brett Goldstein behind the scenes.

“It was an open secret during filming about Brett and J.Lo — they got on like a house on fire from the start, and the chemistry was electric, which viewers will see,” a source told the Daily Mail this week. “They were very touchy, feely, and always laughing, and everyone suspected they were hooking up.”

Alright.

In new relationship news: It looks like Zach Braff is dating Rachel Bilson? While it was previously reported that Braff, 51, was involved with an AI chatbot, the actor/director was spotted making out with Bilson, 44, at La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills this week. The two first met on the set of Braff’s movie The Last Kiss in 2006 (haaaated it) and are currently working together on the Scrubs reboot.

Braff was previously in a long-term, somewhat controversial relationship with Florence Pugh when she was in her early 20s. Bilson shares a daughter with her ex, Hayden Christensen, and most recently dated Bill Hader.

And speaking of Braff, Ms. Garden State herself, Natalie Portman, announced today that she is pregnant with her third child. The 44-year-old actress is currently dating the French music producer Tanguy Destable after her divorce from the French choreographer Benjamin Millepied who allegedly cheated on her with the French 20-something climate activist Camille Etienne. Ooh la la!

Portman decided to break the news to Harper’s Bazaar, for some reason, telling the magazine that she’s feeling happy and excited and staying in shape with something called “Gyrotonics.” Whatever works.

The third (and final?) season of Euphoria premieres this weekend, which means we’re getting tabloid updates on all the main cast. Zendaya is happily, probably married to Tom Holland, but she won’t talk about it. Her co-star Sydney Sweeney, meanwhile, is happily SO SERIOUS with Scooter Braun, and she will talk about it (through sources to Us Weekly). The tabloid exclusively reported this week that the actress, 28, and music manager, 44, are “the real deal, and their relationship has become very serious.”

“People around them thought that this would be just a fling, but they are committed,” a source revealed. “They are slowly integrating their families and blending their lives, making the relationship more serious. Sydney is a hopeless romantic at heart and likes being in a committed relationship.”

The tabloid also claimed that Sweeney has met Braun’s three kids that he shares with his ex-wife Yael Cohen (the blood-clinic magnate who may or may not be dating Tom Brady now).

Braun did not walk the red carpet with Sweeney at the Euphoria premiere this week, but the two were photographed kissing inside the theater, and they held hands on the way out. Sweeney was wearing a very white cape dress — are they priming us for an engagement?

Also maybe serious: Dakota Johnson and Role Model (aka Tucker Pillsbury). Despite a recent report that Johnson was “PLAYING THE FIELD,” the two were papped several times this week: kissing outside an office building, going to a party at Jeremy Allen White’s house, and having dinner at Little Dom’s in Los Feliz. Most telling is the fact that Johnson’s mom, Melanie Griffith, is liking all of Pillsbury’s Instagram posts. She also told a pap that she thinks he’s “fabulous.”

And some unexpected relationship news: Aubrey Plaza’s reps confirmed to People this week that she is pregnant with her first baby with Christopher Abbott, better known as Charlie from Girls. “It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,” a source told the tabloid, adding that Plaza, 41, and Abbott, 40, “feel very blessed.”

Plaza did some fashion week appearances last month where she successfully hid the pregnancy. My guess is that she put the word out now because Abbott had his Death of a Salesman premiere on Broadway last night and she wanted to go and support him. She also got papped walking her dog yesterday:

As celebrity pregnancy announcements go, this is a pretty chill one. I also admire Elizabeth Olsen’s current approach, which is to just not acknowledge it at all.

Perhaps she took a page from her sister Ashley Olsen’s book, who never confirmed her pregnancy back in 2023. Read surfaced some great details about Posh, Becks, Nicola, and Brooklyn, including this anecdote about Nicola’s failed film from 2024:

“Nelson also funded Lola, a film Nicola wrote, directed, and starred in as a poor exotic dancer who tries to free her nonbinary sibling from an alcoholic mother in Middle America. Brooklyn had a cameo, but it was apparently cut by his wife because he couldn’t stop looking directly into the camera.”

If you live in Nashville, New York City, or the Bahamas, beware: Taylor Swift and 12 to 17 of her closest friends are coming. Us Weekly exclusively reported this week that Swift, who is set to marry football player/podcaster Travis Kelce in Rhode Island in June, is going to have a bachelorette party. Or two. Or three?

A source told the tabloid that Swift may be planning multiple girls’ trips “so that all of her closest friends can be there.”

“There could be multiple getaways, and they all will be extremely private, with just Taylor and her close girlfriends,” the source said, adding that Nashville, New York, and the Bahamas are all “options.”

It’s never one hundred percent clear who’s in Swift’s squad at any given moment, but Us Weekly claims Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, the Haims, Brittany Mahomes, and Abigail from middle school are all a part of the bach plans. (Blake Lively, who may or may not be invited, probably can’t go anyway — she has court in May.)

This thinly sourced, sort of inane story reminds me that we are going to have wall-to-wall Swift wedding coverage in the tabloids for the next three months. Whee!

Actually on a trip this week: Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet. The couple appear to be riding out Chalamet’s Oscar loss in … Turks and Caicos, maybe?

Jenner also talked about Chalamet on Kid Cudi’s new podcast this week. I like the way she says, “I really love the Dunes.”

More rapid fire celebrity relationship updates: The Sports Illustrated model turned reality star Brooks Nader is dating British actor Taron Egerton. They were papped together a couple times this week, and a source told People that she likes his accent.

John Mayer, meanwhile, is not dating TikTok star Kat Stickler anymore. DeuxMoi reports that “distance” played a role in the breakup. Uh huh.

Dakota Johnson, however, is still at least casually dating Role Model, even after a source told People last month that she was “PLAYING THE FIELD.” The two were spotted together at Paul McCartney’s concert at the Fonda Theatre in LA last week.

Speaking of concerts, Jessica Simpson is reportedly dating a roadie? TMZ reports that his name is Thomas Eisenhood and that he lives in Nashville.

The Sag Harbor police department released the body-cam footage from Justin Timberlake’s 2024 DWI arrest this past weekend, after Timberlake’s lawyers unsuccessfully sued to block it. I’m not sure why the 45-year-old pop star wanted to keep this footage out of the public domain; he appears to be totally sober in it just kidding.

By now, you’ve probably seen him tell officers, “You boys are treating me like a criminal,” and joke about being marked “white” on a form. I’d like to call your attention to the woman who appears in the footage from Timberlake’s roadside arrest. She pleads with the officers for leniency, asking them, “Can you guys please just do me a favor ‘cause you loved ‘Bye Bye Bye’ or ‘Sexyback?’ Do me one favor?” Lol.

Who is she? One of Jessica Biel’s longtime friends named Estee Stanley. She’s an interior designer who partnered with Biel on her doomed kids-restaurant-with-alcohol, Au Fudge, back in 2016. That business failed spectacularly, so it’s nice to see Stanley is still supportive of the couple (though perhaps somewhat lacking in judgment, as she appeared to see no issue with Timberlake driving drunk on the streets of Sag Harbor).

How does Biel feel about all of this? She’s furrowing her brow and harrumphing as we speak, according to People. “Jessica is not happy about the renewed attention” on the case, a source told the tabloid exclusively. “She’s supportive of Justin, but she’s also not afraid to express when she’s disappointed in certain decisions. This was one of those moments.”

That’s Jessica for you: Tsk-tsking her way into another year of marital bliss.

Speaking of disappointments, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Sussex have had some mixed career news this week. On the one hand, Netflix has officially divested from Meg’s As Ever brand, after previously declining to renew the couple’s $100 million content deal. (According to Variety, the streamer was sitting on $10 million in unsold As Ever products, which they could not even begin to give away.) On the other hand, H & M are now producing a scripted drama about polo? That might end up on Netflix eventually? And they also released a statement about the Meta/YouTube verdict in California, for some reason.

Unfortunately, I do not think these two endeavors add up to even one job. Perhaps there is hope in…Australia? The Sussexes are headed down under in two weeks for some very important-sounding appearances: Harry is giving the keynote address at the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit, where he will discuss “workplace mental health,” and Meg is going to be a “special guest” at the “Her Best Life” podcast retreat.

I just finished the book by Belle Burden (the granddaughter of Babe Paley) yesterday, and found it to be a really satisfying window into the lives of the modern upper class in New York. Burden is very forthcoming about her family money, her unfortunately rendered prenup, life on “the Vineyard,” etc. Now who’s gonna play the husband?

Tom Brady has been divorced from Gisele Bündchen for over three years now. He’s “dated” Irina Shayk, posted sad songs on Instagram when Bündchen announced her pregnancy with her jiu-jitsu trainer, and, more recently, partied with a TikTok star half his age (Alix Earle). But perhaps Brady is ready to settle down again, because TMZ, Page Six, and People are all reporting that he is interested in Yael Cohen, the ex-wife of Scooter Braun:

Per the tabloids, Brady, 48, and Cohen, 39, met at a party at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos’s estate in Beverly Hills last week. It was a birthday bash for former NFL star Tony Gonzales, who has a kid with Sánchez Bezos. According to Page Six, Brady and Cohen were “huddled up at the bar together.” A source told People they were “talking all night.” Both outlets report that the pair left the party together.

Cohen and Braun split in 2021, and Braun, of course, is now dating Sydney Sweeney. It looked for a minute like Brady was interested in Sweeney at the Bezos wedding last summer, but that’s actually when Braun and Sweeney first connected. Braun is currently “unbothered” by the Brady-Cohen flirtation, per TMZ.

Also not upset: Earle. “Alix and Tom have never been serious and their relationship has always been casual and ‘I’ll see you when I see you’ vibe,” a source told Us Weekly this morning. “She is doing her own thing and having fun, and is not worried about if Tom is seeing other people or the nature of their relationship.”

Yeah!!!

Is Cohen the right match for Brady? I personally think it could work. She 1) is more age-appropriate than Earle, 2) has three kids, just like Brady, and 3) is interested and invested in questionable health practices (she founded a company that claims to remove microplastics from your blood with a $13,000 procedure). Think of all the wellness scams they could come up with together! She’s also an heir to a mining fortune, but that’s neither here nor there.

I may have a three-week-old baby, but that hasn’t stopped me from combing through Ashley Tisdale’s essay for The Cut about “breaking up” with her “toxic mom group.” It’s basically the same thing she wrote for her new-ish blog, byashleyfrench.com, back in November, with a few more key details that, I am happy to say, bolster my initial read of the situation.

If you’re just catching up: Tisdale, 40, was in a mommy group started in 2021 by the star of this newsletter, Hilary Duff, that included Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor, and a handful of other influencers and start-up founders like Gaby Dalkin (@whatsgabycookin, 1 million followers).
