How does it work?
For your guests it takes just two steps, and that is exactly what the video on the left shows. For you as the host it takes three.

Scan the QR code
Just point the phone camera at the place card. The album opens instantly: in the app if installed, otherwise as a preview or directly in the browser, depending on what you set as the event creator.
Select photos and upload
One tap on Upload, select pictures, done. They appear in the gallery right away.

Create your event
This is where you need a free account. You set the title and date, choose a custom or random link and assign the permissions. Optionally, every upload must be approved by you first.
Share the QR code
Print it on place cards or send the link. Ready-made templates are included.
Keep the gallery
All your guests' photos end up together in your event. Save them as a ZIP or automatically to Google Drive, and show the best moments as a slideshow.

How long do the photos stay online? A free event has an event phase of six weeks. With a planned date it starts two weeks before the date, otherwise straight away. After that the event expires. You get a reminder by email beforehand, and you can download everything as a ZIP or save it automatically with the Google Drive backup. With Premium the event stays for as long as the subscription runs. All the details on the expiry date

You stay in control
Who can join, who sees what and what ends up in the gallery. You decide, for every event.
Random link or custom link
By default your event gets a random link that is practically impossible to guess. If you like, it gets a readable custom link instead, such as event.pics/wedding, easy to remember for posters, invitations and social media. Neither variant is listed anywhere or indexed by Google. A custom link is, however, easier to guess than a random one.
Access codes with their own permissions
When creating the event you set up an access and decide whether visitors can view, upload and download. Downloading always requires viewing. You can create several accesses, for example one for the family including a family album and one for all other guests. For most celebrations a single access is enough.
Approval before publishing
Optionally, every photo and video must be approved by an admin before it appears in the gallery. If you like, you get a push notification as soon as something is waiting. Uploaders see their own picture immediately, marked as “Not reviewed yet”. Ideal for larger celebrations and company events, when you want to know what lands in the gallery before everyone sees it.
Multiple admins possible: You can make other people admins who approve uploads and manage the event. The creator keeps all rights and is the only one who can delete the event.
