Esa mente con miles de pestañas abiertas en el ordenador; que lee, investiga, ata cabos, vuelve a investigar otra cosa, empieza algo, lo desarrolla… y a veces no lo termina.

Today I want to focus on how to manage our mind: that mind that loves to research, that is deeply curious, that hungers for meaning, with an immense need to learn, create, and connect with purpose. That mind with thousands of tabs open on the computer; that reads, investigates, connects the dots, goes back to researching something else, starts something, develops it… and sometimes doesn’t finish it.

Yes, it’s beautiful to be interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, visionary, creative…
And also very exhausting.

Siguiendo con la formación de mi curso “Mujeres brujas y otras disidencias”, donde comparto información sobre neurodivergencias en mujeres, niñas y diversidades de género y sexo, altas capacidades, doble excepcionalidad…

hoy quiero abordar algo que muchas personas neurodivergentes solemos tener en común: la multipotencialidad. Ser polifacéticas. Tener un pensamiento sistémico, no fragmentado ni hiper-especializado como exige este sistema capitalista, colonial y neurotípico.

Concretamente, quiero hablar de algo muy presente en mi vida ahora mismo —con varios proyectos abiertos a la vez—: ¿acabarlos o no?

Si eres multipotencial, altas capacidades, estás dentro del espectro autista, TDAH… Seguro que te suena: te apasiona empezar proyectos, pero muchas veces cerrarlos —o incluso acabarlos— se siente como un laberinto sin salida.

Y vengo a decirte algo que resume todo mi trabajo: tu alma-mente-cuerpo neurodivergente NO es el problema. El $istema en el que vivimos, sí.

Nosotrxs funcionamos diferente, nuestra manera de ser, estar, vivir, crear es distinta y profundamente necesaria, pues somos las voces acalladas, patologizadas que en verdad cuestionan y retan el statu quo; lo establecido es lo INNATURAL y no nosotrxs. Nosotrxs somos las voces de la incomodidad, de la verdad, del activismo, de recuperación de lo ancestral. Nuestros cerebros, forma de procesar eran INDISPENSABLES HACE MILES DE AÑOS ANTES DEL HETEROPATRIARCADO Y COLONIALISMO, y nuestra memoria genética grita para volver a lo natural.

Lo establecido es lo artificial; no nosotrxs.

Vivimos en un mundo que idolatra y no cuestiona la linealidad impuesta por el calendario gregoriano, las religiones abrahámicas, el capitalismo y el colonialismo:

Continuing with my course “Women, Witches and Other Dissidences”, where I share information on neurodivergence in women and girls, gender and sex diversity, high abilities, and twice-exceptionality…

today I want to explore something many neurodivergent people tend to share: multipotentiality. Being multifaceted. Having systemic thinking that is neither fragmented nor hyper-specialised, as demanded by this capitalist, colonial and neurotypical system.

More specifically, I want to talk about something very present in my life right now — with several projects open at once: to finish them or not?

If you’re multipotentialite, gifted, are on the autistic spectrum, are ADHD… it will likely resonate: you love starting projects, but closing them — or even finishing them — can often feel like a labyrinth with no exit.

And I want to tell you something that summarises my entire body of work: your neurodivergent soul-mind-body is NOT the problem. The system we live in is.

We function differently. Our way of being, living and creating is distinct — and deeply necessary. We are the silenced and pathologised voices who, in truth, question and challenge the status quo. What is established is the unnatural; not us.

We are the voices of discomfort, of truth, of activism, of reclaiming the ancestral. Our brains and ways of processing were INDISPENSABLE THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE HETEROPATRIARCHY AND COLONIALISM, and something in our genetic — or embodied — memory urges us back towards what is natural.

What is established is artificial; not us.

We live in a world that idolises and rarely questions the linearity imposed by the Gregorian calendar, the Abrahamic religions, capitalism and colonialism:

¿QUÉ ES LA MULTIPOTENCIALIDAD?

La multipotencialidad no es una neurodivergencia en sí misma, es más bien un rasgo de funcionamiento cognitivo, pero suele estar presente en neurodivergencias como altas capacidades, TDAH y espectro autista (nivel I).

Este término psicológico describe a personas con múltiples aptitudes en diversas disciplinas, mostrando un patrón de interés intenso por un área hasta que lo dominamos y luego pasamos a otra nueva. También ocurren simultáneamente. Y otras veces, muchas pueden coexistir con el paso del tiempo pero llegar un punto de culminación y cambiar a áreas totalmente diferentes a las anteriores.

Curiosidad → plasticidad → exploración → repetición → maestría provisional → salto a otra cosa → integración.

Las personas que somos multipotenciales tenemos una gran capacidad de aprendizaje rápido y síntesis de ideas, y aunque puede ser un desafío encajar en un mundo enfocado en la especialización, podemos lograr la excelencia en múltiples campos (polímatas, polifacéticxs).

Tenía un servicio 1:1 sobre cómo tener una vida multipotencial y que fuera sostenible para nuestro ser holístico y también en la parte económica, pero quiero convertirlo en formato PDF.

WHAT IS MULTIPOTENTIALITY?

Multipotentiality is not a neurodivergence in itself; it’s more a cognitive trait, although it often appears in neurodivergences such as high ability, ADHD, and autism spectrum (level I).

This psychological term describes people with multiple aptitudes across different disciplines, showing a pattern of intense interest in one area until mastery is reached, and then moving on to a new one. These interests can also unfold simultaneously. And at other times, many can coexist over the years until reaching a point of completion, followed by a shift to entirely different fields.

Curiosity → plasticity → exploration → repetition → provisional mastery → leap to something new → integration.

Those of us who are multipotentialite have strong capacities for rapid learning and synthesising ideas, and although fitting into a world centred on specialisation can be challenging, we can excel in multiple fields (polymaths, multi-faceted people).

I used to offer a 1:1 service on how to live a multipotential life in a way that was sustainable for our holistic selves and for our economic wellbeing too. I now want to turn it into a PDF.
