SynoCli Development Tools

The synocli-devel package provides some development related tools to advanced Linux users:

autoconf An extensible package of M4 macros that produce shell scripts to automatically configure software source code packages. GPLv2
automake GNU Automake is a tool for automatically generating Makefile.in files compliant with the GNU Coding Standards. GPLv2
binutils The GNU Binutils are a collection of binary tools. The main ones are: ld (linker), as (assembler) and gold (new, faster, ELF only linker). GPLv2/LGPLv2
gdb The GNU Project Debugger. GPLv2/LGPLv2
libtree A tool that turns ldd into a tree and explains how shared libraries are found or why they cannot be located. MIT
LLVM The LLVM Project is a collection of modular and reusable compiler and toolchain technologies. GPLv2
m4 GNU M4 is an implementation of the traditional Unix macro processor. It is mostly SVR4 compatible although it has some extensions. GPLv3
make GNU Make is a tool which controls the generation of executables and other non-source files of a program from the program's source files. GPLv3+
pkg-config pkg-config is a helper tool used when compiling applications and libraries. GPLv2
strace strace is a diagnostic, debugging and instructional userspace utility for Linux. GPLv2+
