I started this Substack publication to fall back in love with writing ‘long form’ in a place where it felt quieter and easier to share my voice as a creative who also writes.
It was April ‘22, the seasons were turning, our cherry blossom trees were full of pink and white blossom.
Life was feeling possible, so possible…
I think you’ll agree, Substack is a brilliant platform for connection and so much easier to use than spaces driven by algorithm and vanity metrics. I’ve since grown it into a mixed media digital magazine on Substack where there are articles to read, classes to take (if you like) and a community to chat with.
We’re so at home, at home…
As ‘earth keepers’, me and my family share our home and garden with nature and clients everyday. I extend that invite to you and you can come with you cuppa and join me virtually from our studio by the sea.
We’re ever amazed at the healing benefits of the slow lived life here on the Northumberland Coast and I’ve created my newsletter and archive workshop space to be an extension of that.
