Call for proposals still open

Our Call for Proposals is open until September 30th

The proposal portal at https://proposal.cppp.fr was designed with new speakers in mind and each field comes with advices on how to write your proposal to increase your chances. If you are thinking about proposing your first talk, we hope that it will encourage you to do it.

The three P in CPPP stand for our three tracks:

Progress: This track is all about the bases. These are the talks that you wish every C++ developer would listen to early in their career to start on the right foot. They can be very valuable to experts but need to be accessible to students and beginners.
Produce: Talks that can be immediately applied by professional C++ programmers in their everyday job. Concrete tools and pragmatic ideas that work for legacy codebases and scale well with big teams.
Push Forward: Novel ideas and approaches for C++. They can be patterns that are not well known yet, new features coming in the language, libraries using these recent features or new ways to think about old problems.

Like every conferences, we love to have novel presentations that have never been done before, but we also welcome reruns and talks that have been proposed at other conferences.

Our goal is to come up with the most diverse and thought-provoking line-up we can.

Our Call for Proposals is now open!

We are looking for all types of speakers to create the most diverse and rich conference possible.

Whether you are a seasonned speaker or you never talked at a conference before, we are interested in your proposals and will try to help you.

Go to https://proposal.cppp.fr and follow the instruction and advices to write your best proposal!

The call ends on September 30th, but we encourage you to write your proposal earlier if you can.

Announcing CPPP 2021

CPPP is back in 2021 as an online conference!

From December 1st to December 3rd, CPPP will be a three days online conference. We are working to make it a unique event that combines the extreme accessibility of remote events with as much sharing and interaction as possible, both for the speakers and for the participants.

CPPP 2020 is canceled

Given the current worldwide sanitary crisis, we have decided to cancel the event for 2020.

All sold tickets will be fully refunded.

We had some extremely exciting talk proposals that we hope to be able to plan for the next edition.

Whether you are a seasoned speaker or it is the first time you think about it, you can propose a talk. You can contact us at presentation@cppp.fr if you feel unsure and want some help writing the proposal.

You have until 29th of February 2020 to write your proposal, but don’t hesitate to send it earlier.

We are glad to announce that CPPP will return bigger in 2020!

June 22 and 23 2020

The 2020 edition will be two days, with the three tracks that were already present in the first edition: “Progress”, “Produce” and “Push Forward”.

Given the positive feedback from 2019, we’ll be coming back to the UIC-P and you will once again see the Eiffel Tower from your seats while listening to the talks!

This year’s talks will be selected through a Call for Submissions that should take place early 2020. We’ll announce the actual timeline as soon as we have it.
