| **peer** | [InputPeer](/type/InputPeer.md) | Associate the group call or livestream to the provided [group/supergroup/channel](/api/channel.md) |
| **random\_id** | [int](/type/int.md) | Unique client message ID required to prevent creation of duplicate group calls. See [here »](/api/updates.md#updatemessageid-updates) for more info on random ID deduplication and updateMessageID mapping. |
| **title** | [flags](/mtproto/TL-combinators.md#conditional-fields).0?[string](/type/string.md) | Call title, if not set defaults to the group/channel's name. |

### Possible errors

| Code | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 400 | CHANNEL\_PRIVATE | You haven't joined this channel/supergroup. |
| 400 | CHAT\_ADMIN\_REQUIRED | You must be an admin in this chat to do this. |
| 400 | CREATE\_CALL\_FAILED | An error occurred while creating the call. |
| 400 | GROUPCALL\_ALREADY\_DISCARDED | The group call was already discarded. |
| 400 | PEER\_ID\_INVALID | The provided peer id is invalid. |
| 400 | SCHEDULE\_DATE\_INVALID | Invalid schedule date provided. |
