When I read Lou's quick and expert takes on important issues of mid-life, I often have the reaction "I wish I'd written that!" This is for mid and later lifers who want to get everything they can out of this rich and creative time of life.
I love Stephanie's authentic and practical take on living and leading through the everyday challenges we all face. A fellow Canadian and leadership coach, I value her refreshing and pragmatic insights. Stephanie doesn't pretend that it is easy; she doesn't lecture from a space of living the perfect life. She offers in-depth and genuinely helpful insight grounded in leadership that is human and always a work in progress.
First, I LOVE the title of this publication, because it says everything you need to know about Krista’s approach, which comes from years of experience helping women entrepreneurs succeed online. As a subscriber and client, I have benefited so much from her practical, down-to-earth approach. If you are excited about getting something going but overwhelmed about where to start, “How can this be easy,” should be your first stop.
I love Mary Roblyn’s writing and I am heartened by her success here on Substack. Her story of grief and life within it, is honest, raw, and redemptive. Wise, courageous, and vulnerable. Highly recommend.
Whether or not, you or someone you love has been touched by cancer, this story will touch you. It is moving, at times hilarious, and real. Gingerbread Guts is an uplifting, honest, raw, and deeply human story. (Warning: laugh-sobbing may occur).
Reading Chantel’s Substack is like walking into your favorite independent bookstore, abundant with books and character. I love how Chantel engages with the books she reads and recommends. I also love the many ways she engages us, her subscribers, bringing us into the conversation. And most of all, how she engages with the deeper questions that arise in our relationship to what we read. I am learning so much from her. I highly recommend.
If you are a runner, or even interested in becoming stronger and healthier, this is an invaluable directory by Jenn Woltjen. I don't run anymore, but I always find ideas and inspiration from Jenn and her adventures. As a leadership coach and performance psychology nerd, I'm particularly excited about her new subdirectory here on Applied Sport and Performance Psychology.
Outdoors with Jenn is a great place to visit if you're looking for inspiration and a little courage to get outside your comfort zone. The beautiful photos of her outdoor adventures, her recommendations of beautiful nature to explore and her words of encouragement make you want to put on your running shoes and get out there.
