HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! hahahah! I’m laughing alone in my room. Greetings from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where I turned 22, 28, 31, 33, and now 34. Yes it’s my 5th fringe birthday, how special is that?? 5 beautiful birthdays in dreamy Scotland…

Each birthday is sooo vivid to me — I remember turning 22, having sex in a stairwell with a scottish guy, staying up til 7am drinking hard cider every night, passing out show flyers during the day. I had just graduated college and had no idea what was next. I had never even thought about trying standup comedy. I’d never even seen an uncircumcised dick but made sure to remedy that quickly! It was an extra special summer because I met the wickedly talented Mitra Jouhari, who became family and is still one of my besties to this day. I’ll never forget walking past the meadows with Mitra one night as she asked what I was going to do when I got to New York. I didn’t have a clue - my dreams felt so out of reach. 6 years later I returned to the fringe with my first show “The Twist? She’s Gorgeous,” turned 28 and took home the award for Best Newcomer.

We were getting ready to tape that show as a Netflix special when the world famous pandemic happened and I couldn’t imagine ever going to the fringe again!!! the small rooms, the sharing of microphones, the kissing!!! There had been so much kissing. Thankfully, in 2022, thanks to modern medicine, I was lucky enough to return to the fringe with a “work in progress” show, turn 31, and wrestle with the existential dread of feeling like I’d lost years of my life. That show became “Come For Me,” which I had planned to bring to the 2023 fringe when a freak medical incident derailed my plans. I took that summer off to get heart surgery following my stroke, and returned in 2024 to finish the run of “Come for Me” and turn 33.

And now I’m here in 2025, turning 34, performing my show BROAD STROKES, which is about that whole wild experience and feeling incredibly lucky to make art out of my life. i am crying ! getting older is the best thing that can happen to you!!!!!!!!!! BITCH. I’m ready for this next year and the next and the next and the next…thanks for being by my side <3 <3 <3

Greetings from Italy where I’m on a true blue vacation with my lover and some pals. We just had pasta and roasted veggies on the terrace…now I get to write while looking at this. I am the luckiest girl in the garden I must admit…

I’ve been sleeping quite soundly on this trip, though last night I woke with a start at 4am remembering the time when, in an attempt to impress a boardroom full of people, I said my favorite book was Middlemarch and found myself completely stumped when asked what Middlemarch was about. While I did trudge through the novel my junior year of college at the request of a particularly inspiring professor, I remembered nothing in that moment. Surely hours must have passed while I racked my brain for the plot of Middlemarch only to respond quietly with “it’s just about life in this town…” trailing off into a sigh. Crickets. Though in retrospect, that IS what the book is about and that premise applies to almost any Victorian novel, no? But that afternoon in Hollywood when I told 12 people I didn’t know the plot to my favorite book, I was blanketed in shame. Flustered beyond belief! Nothing came from the meeting and the interaction haunts me to this day. Have you really read a book if you don’t remember a single thing that happened in it? If a book falls in the wood………..does it make u sound smart??? It is never noble to pretend you know anything. Better always to remain open to knowledge, an empty vessel. I know so little these days. I know the breeze feels good in Tuscany. I know the weather is unseasonably lovely in July. I know mosquitoes adore me. I know how to swim. I hope wherever you are, you’re able to enjoy at least a drop of summer Xo

hello from the infamous newark airport where everyone is dressed like complete shit. I’m seeing lots of bare male toes, a woman in a SPORTS BRA, and loungewear not even fit for the bedroom. What a week to be alive in Cole Escola’s NEW YORK !!! How fabulous were the Tony’s the other night? I love theater I love community I love when full-hearted hard-working one of a kind people are rewarded and it was so magical to see Cole get what they deserve!

I met Dev’s new puppy Lola, listened to the new Addison, the Miley, I love my gals. I’m learning how to deadlift (stick ur tits + ass out and hope for the best) and wearing hideous clothes to the gym. I LIKE LOOKING WEIRD AND BAD AT THE GYM. I also did some shows at Joe’s Pub and they gifted me a piece of the wall!!! Sacred block of wall against which I shot my first Netflix special <3

I had some divine sushi and tried to read My Brilliant Friend for the first time, but stopped because I found it quite boring—am I….dumb? Don’t answer that. I read like 100 pages and was like …okay whateva sweetie. I need something a little more MANIC at the moment. something a bit more immediate, anxious, ALIVE. no disrespect. most things are OVER MY BEAUTIFUL HEAD.

Amy came to town and we went with my brother Billy to see John Proctor is the Villain which was AMAZING. shoutout to Fina Strazza for her completely mesmerizing performance. We also saw Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha at the Public, which I talk about all the time because I’m a Julia Masli superfan. Get your tickets before she’s gone. We went to Sardis with funniest woman alive Michelle Collins for martinis and quesadillas (that classic old new york combo!!!) and I wore my hair curly which was very rare and difficult for me.

The night ended at the legendary Chelsea Hotel courtesy of ‘s fabulous variety show. I had a vodka and walked 12 blocks home in the drizzle. It was curly hair weather after all!

Last night I started to be in a bad mood, but then I stopped. Things are always changing <3 <3 <3 <3 I am charging moon water on my windowsill as we speak.

It doesn’t quite feel like summer in New York City, but something is stirring that will soooon mark the start of that fucked up sweaty season… that’s right…Love Island UK starts June 9 and Love Island US starts June 3!!!!

I used to be a UK only diehard but then I met Rob and Leah last summer (aka watched their season) and got kind of addicted. Plus I love to support Miss Madix’s hosting moment even though I am literally a Sandoval superfan after his performance on Traitors/ his cameos I see on my TikTok feed. He’s not a GOOD person but he is GREAT at being on television and I have nothing but respect for that.

While I’m being mrs. pop culture can we PLEASE talk about JOJO SIWA and CHRIS HUGHES (season 3 of Chris + Kem fame) I AM GAGGGGGatha christie over this one, team. When’s the last time you were genuinely SURPRISED by something? Grateful for these two for allowing me to be momentarily thrown off my axis in a world that so often bores me to death! Are they really dating? Sure! Will it last? Of course!!!!

These will be my last Club Cumming shows until the fall because I’m heading out of town for July and August.

I’m thrilled to share I’ll be performing at JFL Montreal in July. Going to this festival has always been a dream of mine and I hope to see you there!

good afternoon gorgeous ones…

I’m in my bathrobe on the couch not sure what day or time it is…I just got back from LA and now it is freezing icicle bicycle in NYC. I just had to google how to spell “icicle”…doesn’t it look wrong? It looks SOOO CUTE mind you but not quite right somehow…may 22 and 50 degrees is sooo unique and such a random choice for Mother Nature, but I trust her vision…

I’m going to my college reunion this weekend LOL It is my 12th reunion (name something more random challenge) but Princeton does reunions every year because it is kind of a cult (in a chill way). There’s no one I’m excited to see….or dreading seeing… (real ones know I tied up all loose romantic ends as recently as 2021 when I saw my college boyfriend in prospect park).

I think I will be reconnecting with lots of 33 year old homeowners with children…I do not envy being a parent in any way/shape/form, but I wouldn’t mind owning property. A psychic in LA did tell me I would buy a house and get engaged last year but…….crickets. JK love and light to her cuz she said other things that I liked that came true <3 <3 <3

This week was kinda coo coo cuz I was fighting off a cold in LA. which means I was sick for the THIRD time in TWO MONTHS. can someone PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO? I sleep, I hydrate, I take vitamin c, zinc, wellness formula, elderberry, honey blah blah blah and I still feel like if I get less than 7 hours of sleep I start to crumble. Please comment if you have suggestions for how to get my immune system up and running!!!

Beyond that, the LA trip was v fun. I went to the Overcompensating premiere and got to celebrate dearest Benito and Mr. Pat (who wrote on the show). The show was so funny and cutie and featured so many talented pals like Mary Beth Barone and Owen Thiele. Special shoutout to Holmes who is soooo funny in the show omg. The whole thing made me incredibly nostalgic for college and my relationship with my then-closeted bestie…good thing I’m taking NJ transit back there tomorrow!!! I hope the weather turns perfect soon…

The other LA highlight was hopping onto Chris Fleming’s Largo show (if you haven’t watched his special I urge you to seek GOD) and ‘s reading series at Soho House. Her piece was so incredible. I can’t wait to check out her short story collection, Bad Thoughts. Lots of fun pals read like Emma Specter (whose book More, Please you must read) and Rachel Kaly (who read an insane excerpt from her childhood live journal that made me laugh laugh laugh). It was a really inspiring evening I must say!!! I read some poems of course and wore my new denim trench, which got three compliments!

Happy Wednesday My Sexy Little Emailers!!!

I regret to inform you I am feeling unmoored, untethered, disconnected for I have made a terrible mistake…I accidentally left town without my laptop!!!! YES i have my ipad but real ones know that does not count. there is little comfort in an ipad when one’s rose gold macbook air sits atop one’s desk 3000 miles across the country….I feel soooo uneasy writing this from my ipad. it is so unnatural and it is simply perverse, but the show must go on.

I’m currently poolside in los angeles wearing a hoodie and sweatpants because I made the amazing decision to fall asleep by the pool yesterday without a drop of sunscreen and am now GIVING LOBSTER. bring in the dancing lobsters ? wait they’re already here!!!! I have not been this sunburned (sunburnt?) since I went to Jamaica with my college acapella group. we were the entertainment on the cruise and NO ONE wanted us to be that. we sounded like shit but looked cute enough. the group was co-ed and everyone was always fucking each other and then crying and starting drama and doing shots of everclear and then fucking again. god I miss 2013. if you think I didn’t lose my virginity to someone from my acapella group…think AGAIN queen!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY to you and yours. we are experiencing beautiful weather right now in nyc thank goddesssss. I even went to the gym today — I dreaded it on the way there, hated doing it and felt tired after! S L A Y. My new career goal is to be able to do a pushup…a girl can dream!!! I’m currently in the thick of working of my new show— which brings me to my fabulous announcement that due to a sickness in my SOUL I will be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe for the entire month of August. While it is my favorite place on earth, it takes and it takes and it takes! This fringe feels extra emotional and very full circle…As you may or not know, in 2023 I had a stroke caused by a congenital heart defect I did not know I had. I had to cancel my 2023 fringe run and receive heart surgery…so DRAMATIC. I’m now writing a show about that experience. The show is called BROAD STROKES and will premiere at the Pleasance One July 31- Aug 24. Tickets are now on sale if you're planning on finding yourself in Scotland in August!
