I have had a good experience in the past, but not this time... Backmarket are effectively a drop shipper, they have separate companies refurb the tech then Backmarket handle the sales, this is all fine until there is any issue with delivery. In my experience, I ordered a phone on Saturday 25th July. The package was shipped from NEFIX INTERNATIONAL LTD via DPD, DPD decided they could find my address. So i changed the delivery to have DPD drop it to a YEEP! Locker near my house, 3 times DPD dropped the phone to the locker, 3 times I didn't receive a passcode, DPD said contact the sender NEFIX INTERNATIONAL expect I don't have a contact for NEFIX INTERNATIONAL only back market, and back market, although repeatedly saying they are working on it, are unable to help. So now after more than a week of frustration and laggy web chat, my phone has again been picked up from the locker by DPD and is on its way back to NEFIX INTERNATIONAL, not because I asked for this, just because that's what DPD decided to do, I have now asked for a full refund and purchased a phone from a refurb company on Ebay. But wait, this isn't Backmarkets fault, its DPD and NEFIX INTERNATIONAL I hear you say, I disagree, I purchased the phone from Backmarket and as their customer I expect them to deliver the goods I have bought and paid for in a timely manner, if they are struggling to manage their Refurbers and their corresponding delivery services, it is really not my concern. So long backmarket
