Chiron is known as the Wounded Healer, from the Greek myth of the centaur. In astrology, the asteroid Chiron is associated with fragility and shame. These are the things that happen to us that we can never quite get over but must, in some way, learn to integrate. It can be shadowy and traumatic, leaving a scar either psychologically or physically, that can never be fully healed.

Currently, Chiron is transiting the 29th degree of Aries. It made its ingress on February 18, 2019, after a brief stint between April 17 and September 25, 2018, and will remain in Aries until early 2027. But, it will briefly dip into Taurus from June 19, 2026, to September 17, 2026, for the preview of its transit that officially starts on April 14, 2027, and lasts into 2033.

Aries is already a fairly combustible, loose-cannon of a sign. It’s not necessarily malicious, but it tends to blow up at the drop of a hat. It can be restless, unsettled, and aggravated by default. Add the tension of the 29th degree to it, and you’re begging for the incendiary possibilities to ignite into an uncontrollable, volatile inferno.

Essentially, Chiron at this degree is super butthurt and looking for a fight, one that has been building since February 2019.

But, hear me out: What if, instead of starting a war, Aries Chiron becomes more introspective and attempts to consolidate its power around understanding itself and its pain instead of lashing out to protect itself from that pain happening ever again. This Chiron can be, and is, quite vigilant. It’s a sentinel on patrol, just waiting for someone to step out of line so it can soar off into the ether with its indignation to keep it warm.

This anaretic degree Chiron presents an opportunity to understand the other 28 degrees it has had to traverse since February of 2019 to get here, and it can’t move on into the realm of Taurus without at least some form of catharsis, so it can rest somewhat in the sign of the Bull.

Think back over the past 7 years and consider the area of your chart Aries calls home. What began in 2019, and what was the source of it? If Aries is on an angle in your chart (houses 1, 4, 7, or 10), it’s likely to be a prominent reckoning, whereas if it’s in a succedent or cadent house, the topics will likely be more muted.

With the Gemini New Moon sextiling this Chiron transit, we can expect Chiron’s feelings of fragility to be tickled by messages, conversation, and media consumption. We may hear something on the news that brings up bad memories, or receive a text message that reminds us of something that needs to be taken care of. Difficult emotions may be involved, and we may struggle to face whatever needs addressing. Realizing that you’re the hero of your own story might be a mixed bag: no one is coming to save you, but you can save yourself.

It’s worth noting that Venus just ingressed Leo on Saturday, and so it’s separating from a square with Chiron in Aries. The need to be noticed, the desire to be seen, wanting to stand out in a crowd, or just craving attention could force old flames to reach out or cause romance in long-term relationships to rekindle.

Venus here becomes a Siren, especially with helpful aspects from Uranus and Neptune that contribute to her confidence, bombshell attitude, and magnetism. Her call is disruptive and draws people towards her in ways they can’t avoid or look away from.

Some astrologers have been warning about this configuration forming in the sky, and what it could do for courtships, infatuations, and enchantment, but I tend to see this as something much more promising and opportunistic.

If you have a Libra or Taurus rising, this week could prove quite fruitful for you, as long as you’re willing to notice the potential when it shows itself. Pluto’s intensity is a feature, not a bug. Indulge in the fantasy of a meteoric rise. With Venus in Leo, after all, is a starlet.

That doesn’t mean it has to stay in the sky.

• Tuesday, June 9, 2026: Venus-Jupiter conjunction

Venus-Jupiter

Venus is love, spreading wealth, and relationships, while Jupiter is frivolity, accumulation of wealth, and collaboration.

This is values (Venus) vs. growth (Jupiter). What do we want, and how do we expand toward it? With this transit, we can see what we want and take practical steps toward achieving it. We can weigh the work involved and justify it.

Taking out loans for school, paying a debt instead of going on vacation, splurging on a night out — these are all situations where the value can be justified: “I want to expand my knowledge,” “I want to live debt-free,” “I need a night out” are all valid justifications that speak to the emotional validation of values.

Jupiter presents the opportunity, while Venus permits us to embrace it.

This conjunction takes place in Cancer, making the opportunities big since Jupiter is exalted there — meaning Jupiter is pulling more weight. The opportunities might seem too good to be true and thus not worth the resources, or the resources might not be immediately available to capitalize on them, but you’ve now got a clearer sight on how to move forward.

Keep in mind: the conjunction happens at 25° Cancer, conjunct Procyon.

Procyon is a fixed star located at 25° Cancer. According to Ptolemy, Anonymous 379, and Reinhold Ebertin, Procyon is of the nature of Mercury and Mars — a star considered quite benefic, heralding both fame and fortune.

Because Mercury and Mars essentially translate into putting thoughts into action, and because Mercury enters its retroshade at the other end of Cancer that same day, this is heavy on the “put on the rose-colored glasses and envision a better tomorrow” vibe.

There’s a good chance we’ll catch a glimpse of great things on the horizon, but we’ll be forced to wait for the really good news as Mercury Retrograde’s cycle gets underway. The upside? Even though it’s delayed, it’s still serious. You’ll have to wait, and you shouldn’t be married to a particular outcome. Thrill in the possibilities, knowing that at least one of them is right for you. Be grateful for your blessings, even if they don’t look exactly like you hoped.

Since the Moon rules Cancer, this entire beneficial dynamic forms in the Cancer house of your chart — then focuses into Aries, where the Moon is transiting 6° Aries, conjunct Neptune, and moving toward a conjunction with Saturn.

Moon in Aries is a go-getter. It’s a mover, a shaker, and a rattler-roller. Everything needs to happen yesterday for an Aries Moon, and there is exactly ZERO chill to be found. The Moon is balsamic, pushing us into fits of reflection on where we’ve been so we can orient ourselves toward where we’re going.

With this combination, we can see the next steps and feel greenlit to chase our wildest dreams. Aries Kickstarter will have us knocking down doors and setting rooms on fire to get what we want — but the Moon’s conjunction with Neptune might literally rain on our parade. Nevertheless, any obstacles will be overcome; it might just take a few extra days.

It’s like Mars in the sign of the Moon’s exaltation is talking to all the womenfolk and getting them super riled up about something — but this brand of riled up is motivating. It wants to build something, pushing the Moon off its tearful ass and channeling emotion into action. Overall, this day feels very much like the “before times.”

Moon squares Mercury, immediately conjuncts Saturn, sextiles the Sun, and then squares the Venus-Jupiter conjunction, before going void of course on June 11 until entering Taurus at 8:29 AM EDT.

So the story arc looks like this:

• Past actions were confusing (6/9)

• Conflict provides an emotional narrative (6/10, Morning)

• Future obstacles can be overcome with effort (6/10, Morning)

• Physical exertion opens doors to divine messaging (6/10, Afternoon)

• Action creates harmonious opportunities (6/11, Morning)

• Nothing changes until the Moon moves into Taurus (6/11 @ 4:21 AM)

• Moon enters its exaltation (6/11 @ 8:29 AM)

This might be kind of a big deal if cardinal signs are on your natal chart’s angles.

Mercury-Saturn

Mercury in Cancer (seeing what’s comfortable) Square (as the result of) Saturn in Aries (ineffective management) Conjunct (blended with) Moon in Aries (current disagreements)

Mercury is conjunct Sirius.

The Dog Star. Heralded by Procyon. Loyal. Portended the Nile floods for ancient Egyptians. Signals wealth, fame, renown. A BLAZING and BRILLIANT star of the night sky. Devoted, faithful, reliable. Can indicate problematic actions and accusations.

When Sirius is conjunct Mercury, it heralds prosperity through business and trade. Sirius’ qualities are those of Mars and Jupiter, putting a fire under any available opportunity. Luck comes through communication, but may be dismissed as a figment of the imagination.

Friends and siblings may be influential, which can be beneficial. There could be suspicion around talking, thinking, or trickery — but these worries are needless and will only serve as excuses not to act.

Mercury in Cancer tends to believe what it wants, or whatever is most convenient in the moment. Cardinal signs aren’t as stubborn as fixed signs, but they don’t usually change course very easily either.

What to expect here resembles your boss making a mistake that benefits you somehow — saying yes when they should have said no, or otherwise acquiescing to your demands. Chances are, you saw it coming and may even have initiated it yourself. Think: a promotion, an elevation, or some form of loyalty shown to you.

There’s an emphasis here on “needless worry,” most likely because Cancer tends to fuss and fret over comfort. The Mars element of Sirius will bring discomfort and compel action. Jupiter creates luck, opportunity, and the ability to bounce back.

Combining those elements with Mercury suggests that vulnerability surfaces through meaningful communication, brought about by rushed, authoritative processes.

Example: Your boss messes up your schedule, and you have to bring it up — which might be difficult and awkward — but talking about what you need earns you respect going forward.

Moon in Aries is already miffed about everything around it, and this additional stress might push it into a fully instinctive state, bypassing critical thinking and leaning entirely on intuition, to the point where it believes every story it tells itself, infallibly.

Leo Venus

At the time of Venus’ ingress, the Sun is above the horizon, making this a day chart.

In Leo, Venus gets support from the Sun as both the sign ruler and day triplicity ruler, along with Saturn as the cooperative ruler. Saturn is currently in the sign of its Fall, so any help it can offer isn’t likely to be useful — and may actually turn out to be a bit of a detriment.

The Sun is still in Gemini for a few more days, so the support Venus receives from it comes in the form of information-gathering. But the Sun is in the 12th House, which means it’s making things up as it goes and transferring whatever narratives it concocts to Venus. Because this is an inception chart for the Venus ingress, that dynamic is likely to be a recurring theme throughout the duration of her transit.

Venus in Leo is already a bit of a diva — but with the Sun feeding her somewhat neurotic, made-up stories, and Saturn offering questionable leadership while flying by the seat of its pants, Venus is less likely to enjoy her starlet trip through Leo this year.

Venus enters Leo under the influence of some Gossiping Gerties and immediately applies to an opposition with Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius, adding public pressure to Venus’ already delicate self-image.

Venus will likely be much more Kanye West than Dolly Parton. Expect major public crash-outs over perceived slights, people jumping to conclusions, and indignation over nothing. This is a mountain-out-of-a-molehill transit if I’ve ever seen one. Bad hair days are enough to cause a temper tantrum. Fragile egos are all the rage, and cashing in clout with the court of public opinion to call for backup is basically the energy of the season.

Don’t get your way? Feel free to fly off the handle. Do it online so you can perform for an audience and get strangers backing you up from across the world — strangers who have no skin in the game and just want a good show. Have a huge argument with your significant other in public so other people can take sides. Smear your coworker at the water cooler to earn some office cred.

Or — hear me out — don’t.

I want to drive the point home, though: this really is prime time to absolutely lose your shit and never find it again. So before assuming the worst of any interaction, take a breath and remind yourself that not everyone is out to get you. They’re just in it for the drama — and if you give it to them, they win.

Conversely, if you can come at this transit from the standpoint of being a baddie and letting the haters roll right off your back, then Venus in Leo is the transit you’ve been waiting for. You can strut your stuff without needing approval and stand out in a crowd like the hottie you are. If you’re in it to win it, you don’t have time for pettiness and nonsense — so anything anyone has to say won’t even register. You’re too focused on achieving your goals and cheering yourself on, while Aquarius Pluto mirrors your awesomeness right back at you.

Decide now what your priority is: participating in silliness for your image’s sake, or making sure you’re on your way to making real things happen. The choice is yours — and it’ll be very easy to tell who’s who by the time Venus enters Virgo on July 9th.

The major takeaway this week is that if you’ve got time to get in someone’s face, you actually have time to strategize how to lift yourself up instead of tearing other people down. Let other people bury themselves while you ascend in a way that Mariah Carey would be proud of.

This is my first paywalled content since last year, and I really wanted to write an in-depth article about this topic, but it became increasingly impossible, so I did what my body told me to do: I made a 10-minute video about it instead.

A Full Moon is a Full Moon. It’s a lunation, but the fact that this one takes place out of sync with the others suggests something of a disruption to me. Our normal rhythms, which the Moon rules, are temporarily thrown off, and we lose our natural cadence.

Disruptions don’t have to be extreme, but we should notice them when we see them. Even the smallest thing can throw you off your path for a few minutes. Think about the times when you’ve walked into a room with a purpose only to forget why you went in as soon as you crossed the threshold. That’s a disruption, and it’s one big enough to be annoying. It’s the same way with this Blue Moon in Sagittarius.

I do see each full moon as an opportunity, even when others suggest otherwise. This one in Sagittarius carries the weight of things we’ve been building towards. Sag is the sign of opportunity, and so the knocks you hear aren’t just echoes from the past. They’re real, and they’re in front of you now.

Carpe diem, boys. Seize the day.

If you’re me, this Blue Moon in Sagittarius hits your 3rd House, the house of communication, short-distance travel, siblings, and general environment. It’s the basic fundamentals of life, that poster that said: “All I Really Need to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten.”

Sagittarius being what it is, the explorer, the experiencer, the lucky panhandler, and knowing that blue moons are a disruption, when I saw this coming a few months ago, I decided to harness the dynamic of this disruption to my advantage in a way that was disruptive to me.

I scheduled my first Astrology 101 class, and I called it The Fundamentals.

I can’t emphasize enough exactly how much of a disruption that really is for me. Never in a million years did I ever think I’d be teaching and transmitting the tradition I love in the way I did last night. It was intentional and meaningful. And it was Sag Moon-coded, with themes of learning, understanding, and insights. There were students and a teacher. When my husband picked me up afterward, he called me “Professor” as soon as I got in the car.

The astrology is in the details.

So, don’t let this Blue Moon go unnoticed, and don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t special. You can consciously or unconsciously live the experience of astrology. I just happen to think that being conscious of the experience and seeing the beautiful mysteries of our universe play out in the timing of the stars is inspiring. And I think you should let it inspire you, too.

• I’m starting a podcast called Astrology Said So with because our chat about the Barbault Basket went so well last week. This is something I’ve literally always wanted to do; I just needed to find the perfect person to do it with. We record our first episode tomorrow about the Venus-Jupiter conjunction on June 9, and I think you’ll really love it.

• I opened my Oracular Decrees like I do every month now, but this month really put a spotlight on how much I love what I do, and I’m finally willing to say I’m good at it. I don’t need to be humble about the knowledge I have, the insights I’ve gained, or the wisdom I can share as a result. In fact, I look forward to sharing that part of myself, and that’s incredibly Sagittarius-themed.

• I’m putting my work back behind a paywall starting tomorrow because Sagittarius 3rd House says my ability to communicate should be profitable.

I’m excited to get to know it and become more proficient in using Nechepso. I can only describe it as melodic and lyrical; it’s intuitive in a way that emphasizes the art in astrology.

Find Sagittarius in your own chart and really inspect how it’s showing up in your life, and when you uncover that mystery, recognize that even though Sagittarius is the luckiest sign in the zodiac, what’s happening isn’t luck at all but a clear path forward.

Personal News:

Uranus cazimi was yesterday, and if you read my article last week, you know last week was setting us up for some wild rides. And I was no exception.

If you’ve been reading this for a while, you know I’ve been having some crazy health problems since late last year, and I’ve had some significant challenges in getting answers.

Well, that all changed under Uranus cazimi.

Gemini is in my 9th House, which covers writing, publishing, observation, diagnosis, and research.

On Wednesday, I had a lot of bloodwork done, and on Thursday, the results started rolling in. It turns out that I may have some kind of genetic mutation that affects my cardiovascular system, and it’s widely supported by a vast family tradition of heart disease.

It’s still up in the air, and considering the long holiday weekend, it’s likely that I won’t get a ton of answers until the middle of next week. It’s been a lot to process and digest, and even more to navigate without the support of medical staff. I’ve been resting, staying hydrated, and doing my best not to freak out or get too in my head about it.

I had plans last week to write about Donald Trump’s Solar Return and to rewrite my hottest takes on the 2026 Midterm Elections in November, but the emotional toll of how sick I am snuck up on me. Now that I’ve had an opportunity to get through some of it, I’m ready to focus my angst into something creative and useful, like astrology.

So, I’m sorry those promised articles were delayed. I’m going to get them out this week. Unless I have some kind of cardiac event before then, but let’s not dwell on that.

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 24, 2026, brings us a combustible alignment with the Sun in Gemini sexiling Neptune in Aries. This is going to ignite some serious issues with belief and conviction.

The ideals we spent so much time building during Neptune’s Pisces transit become emboldened now that Neptune’s in Aries. We all want to be the hero of our own story, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing — but Neptune tends to lead us down a path with coercion, confusion, or outright lies.

This time can be one of great strides, but it can also be one of distractions that benefit those in power or your own mental health. Be sure you’re sinking your time into things that are worth your while, and not just convenient or clever diversion.

Tuesday

Tuesday, May 26, 2026, will likely be a fairly explosive day with Mars in Taurus squaring Pluto in Aquarius, and then the Sun trining Pluto later in the day.

Mars in Taurus is breaking ground or aggressive spending, and Pluto in Aquarius is best described as the collective holding up a mirror to the rulers who govern it. The square aspect is a hard one; it initiates some sort of movement or can create friction that will need to be confronted later.

This particular configuration suggests that there will be breakthroughs of some kind. I wouldn’t call it an eruption — I don’t think it’ll be that dramatic — but it will be unstoppable once it gets going because Mars’ endurance in Taurus knows no end.

Then, the Sun, fresh off its sextile with Neptune, trines Pluto. It’s reasonable to think that whatever is dug up by Mars-Pluto will be supported by the Sun in Gemini.

I can’t help but think of the stupid ballroom with this alignment: Mars-Pluto’s controlled digging in the dirt, supported by the power of rhetoric and propaganda of Sun-Pluto. There is so much ego on the part of the One at the expense of the Many here. It’s a temper tantrum as much as it is an acceleration of humanitarianism and focus on the future.

Thursday

Venus in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Venus is applying to a conjunction with Jupiter in its exaltation, which gives the day warm, fuzzy vibes that create friction for Saturn.

Remember, Saturn in Aries is in Fall, but it’s still its own triplicity ruler, which gives it more autonomy. Essentially, Saturn in Aries is an incompetent boss that no one likes, but you have to listen to him anyway because he’s not going anywhere.

He can say what he wants and do what he wants, and on this day, he’s probably cornering some office ladies to prop up his ego or image while he processes some intense feelings.

The story of this week starts with a lie and ends in embarrassment. With Neptune in Aries, this distraction could be everything from keyboard warriors to religious zealots preaching their special brand of faith.

Look for con men and grifters hyping their scams, especially those endorsed by anyone in power. That’ll be the giveaway, and it’ll be easy to know the difference.

If the Pope says that someone is trustworthy, you can probably trust them. If a used car salesman tells you that his buddy can get you financing, be wary. It may be more subtle, but that’s why I’m warning you about it now.

Whatever kicks off Sunday will come to a head by mid-week, and it’ll be a lot of getting called out. If you’re someone who likes to hide from how good you are at something, you’ll probably be running for the hills because you can get attention for being awesome, too.

It really just depends on how everything falls for you and what your relationship with Saturn is.

The end of the week, though, you’re gonna hear news about someone being a buffoon. It might be you, it might be your boss, it might be someone you’re barely acquainted with. No matter how it shows up, be on the lookout because opportunities might live in their foolishness.

Gemini

This is your season in the most literal sense. The sun is in your sign, amplifying everything you say, think, and put out into the world. Your words, thoughts, ideas, and jokes are landing differently right now. People are listening. Whatever you’ve been sitting on — an idea, a conversation, a creative project — this is the time to release it into the ether. What you put out now sticks. If you can dream it, be it!

Libra

You just haven’t been able to get out of your head for the past few weeks. You’ve been weighing the pros and cons, deliberating best approaches, and circling the same decisions without actually landing anywhere. That changes now! Gemini clears that fog, so expect sudden clarity about what you actually want and the confidence to trust it. Stop waiting for outsourced certainty. You already know, and you’re just wasting time by waiting for confirmation.

Aquarius

You knew something was going on before anyone could even say a word. With your observational skills, it was probably obvious from the jump, but all that planning isn’t going to matter if you don’t act! Gemini season is the green light you’ve been waiting for. That idea you’ve been mulling over, that story still living in your notes app, or that person you keep thinking about? You have been right the whole time. Take the risk!

Air signs, now is not the time to play small. Trust your instincts instead of living rent-free in your own head. It’s time to pick a direction and go, go, go!

This weekend, we had a New Moon in Taurus, and yes, a new moon in Taurus is a relatively uneventful transit that happens usually at least once a year. But, I think something that was really overlooked about this New Moon is that it was conjunct Algol, the Demon Star that sits at 26 Taurus.

Algol is associated with Medusa, and, in my opinion, Medusa is one of the most misunderstood stories in mythology. Thus, Algol is one of the most misunderstood fixed stars in astrology. It’s labeled a star of misfortune, a demon star, and the harbinger of severed heads.

It’s villainized, as was Medusa. But Medusa wasn’t a monster. She was a woman who was wronged by the gods and then demonized to justify their unjust actions. She was transformed, hunted, murdered, and weaponized after death. She’s a cautionary tale of what can happen when women dare to be independent. She was assaulted, blamed for it, shunned, and ultimately destroyed to serve the goddess she had pledged her life to, the same one who punished her for her assault.

Algol’s real gift is how it forces you to find the innocence in a situation. It asks us what existed before corruption and power got involved and decided that gentleness was a problem. It shows us how that innocence was transformed by corruption and then labeled by those who did so.

Algol shows us how to cut through the narratives and present unadulterated truth in ways that make most people in positions of imperial power uncomfortable.

That unadulterated truth is Medusa’s head on Athena’s aegis, the beauty of the horrible truth reflected across armies that ultimately won wars by turning men into stone.

Does all that sound familiar? Let’s look at what surfaced in the days surrounding this New Moon and tell me you don’t see Medusa’s legacy at work.

On May 12, survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse gathered at West Palm Beach City Hall, less than three miles from the mansion where much of the abuse took place, to testify publicly before Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee.

They called on lawmakers and the Justice Department to take action, with survivors demanding answers about why more than 2 million investigative files remain unreleased despite a law passed last year requiring their release. Some of these women spoke on the record for the first time, and they did so by walking into the very backyard of the men who protected their abuser.

They spoke truthfully of their trauma and used their most horrific memories as a shield. That is Algol, the Medusa principle.

One survivor, appearing only as “Roza,” described being unable to live without looking over her shoulder. Another noted that the partial file releases had exposed victims while shielding Epstein’s associates. The release of unredacted victim names was the head of the monster mounted to the Department of Justice’s aegis to shield powerful men from the accountability they deserve.

The survivors showed up to tell their stories, ushering in a new cycle, breaking new ground, and severing something: the silence.

Then, on May 15, another case that defined a generation’s reckoning with powerful men reached yet another impasse. A judge declared a mistrial in Harvey Weinstein’s third New York sex crimes trial after the jury deadlocked on whether he raped Jessica Mann in 2013.

It was the second time in a year that a jury was unable to reach a verdict on the same charge. Mann has now testified in three separate trials, reliving the same violence in front of strangers, submitting herself to systems that keep finding reasons to deny her the justice she deserves. “I chose to testify in three trials because I am telling the truth,” she said in a statement after the mistrial. Her truth is the severed head, held high by a system designed to exhaust her and benefit the man who assaulted her.

And it’s her burden to bear.

The foundation that the Taurus New Moon has set guarantees nothing but cascading fallout. Like Medusa’s blood falling into the sea and creating Pegasus, the winged horse who created the Hippocrene spring, a source of poetic and artistic inspiration that was said to be sacred to the Muses.

Keep that in mind as we enter this week.

5/17 Mercury enters Gemini

The house Gemini occupies in your chart is the main character here. Topics will become electrified by travel, trade, commerce, and information exchange. Mercury is strong in Gemini, so expressions will be fast and fleeting. That doesn’t mean insincere; it just means that opinions change fast. Something can be true one minute, and then new information is introduced, so the truth changes.

If you live in storm-prone areas, stay weather-aware this week. The wind will pick up, and with Uranus copresent in Gemini, lightning shows are likely.

The news cycle moves especially fast this week; that’s doubly so for independent journalists and new media. Static and interference become topics of conversation. Disruption, rebellion, breakthroughs around hands, air, information, travel, talking, sharing, thinking, organizing, and planning.

Wait for more concrete evidence before taking anything too seriously.

5/18 Mars enters Taurus, Venus enters Cancer

Mars in Taurus

Probes into loyalty are likely with aggression building as the week goes by. There is emotional regulation in physical exertion and creation, crafting, fertility, and growth is on the table.

There is a need for physical comfort amid all the chaos, and so I’ll tell you that it’s the week to make a move on your special someone, or your special someone-to-be. But, unless you’re ready to craft a new life, take the necessary precautions. Otherwise, cooking and gardening might be simple luxuries easily overlooked.

We seek stability as beef prices rise. There could be supply chain interruptions that begin to make themselves known. Anger over grocery prices intensifies, and a breaking point could be reached.

In response to the anger, there is resistance to change and aggravated stubbornness. The more complaints, the less likely leadership is to lead. A severance of loyalty or removal of self-worth is likely. A break in confidence. Holes are punched into self-esteem, and wars are waged over what is possessed and protected.

Venus in Cancer

I like to call this placement the Mother Goose placement because it’s always looking to take care of strays. It has a natural affinity for sob stories and people who are struggling. There’s a desire to care for others or to be a safe harbor for people, animals, causes, or anything else in need.

Venus in Cancer is sensitive to change, not in a resistant sort of way, but this placement doesn’t care for uncertainty, and when things change, it doesn’t know what to expect. It can lend to suspicion or a sensitivity to things being different, which can agitate tension as much as it can provide a safe place to stay.

The intuitive factor can be off the charts here, but that means it can also be wary of strangers. Venus in Cancer is most happy at home because the outside world can carry more surprises than it’s comfortable with. Beware of overwriting stories to suit a narrative since intuition can often just be projection based on past experiences.

5/20 Sun enters Gemini

The Sun is power, authority, “God,” and vitality. It’s what gives us warmth and healing. It’s how food grows and what allows us to see during the day. It’s bright and life-giving.

In Gemini, the Sun gives life through gossip, storytelling, sharing information, and travel. It’s an exciting time with news spreading. Commerce and trade become faster or less defined. Details or the depth of subjects could be ignored. Knowing or understanding things becomes less important than spreading the information around. We want to see “in the know” without actually knowing anything.

Sun joins Mercury in Gemini, so this need to be “in the know” becomes even more prominent, but details change second-by-second. There’s no way to really know anything; we just know what we’re being shown.

5/22 Uranus cazimi

Major disruptions with information tech and travel. Insurgency, iconoclasm, audaciousness, and ingenuity show up in Gemini–mutable air. Dynamics change quickly. Duality shows up in saying one thing and meaning another just to cause problems.

This is the first Uranus cazimi of this Gemini transit, so it will likely set the tone for the ones that remain. It’s a day of heightened need for freedom. Things change, and we want to change with them. Consciousness itself is freed and definitions are rewritten. Future potential can planet itself. We can make the necessary changes to succeed. The path ahead becomes more obvious and more available.

Aries

Your finances are under a microscope this week — old assumptions about what you own or owe may get poked at. Channel that restless energy into building something real rather than defending what you already have.

Taurus

Mars moves into your sign, and you’re ready to fight for what matters — just make sure you know what that actually is before throwing the first punch. Your instincts are strong, but stubbornness won’t close the deal.

Gemini

Yesterday, with the Mercury Cazimi, you probably felt what I can only describe as clarity of the soul. You may have seen or understood yourself in a way you haven’t been able to before, and, maybe for the first time, were able to comprehend just how alone you feel.

You may long for something far away or right in front of you that you can’t connect with. That feeling of isolation or inexplicable knowing is the point. You’re being shown where you can grow if you just push yourself.

You might have noticed the video at the top of this post. Donald Trump’s birthday is on June 14, which just so happens to be the same day as a new moon in Gemini, and with his Sagittarius rising for the year, that Gemini new moon is baked into his relationship sector until June 14, 2027.

I’m planning a whole article on it for next week, but that new moon doesn’t bode particularly well, in my opinion. It raises all kinds of questions about how he functions in relationships abroad and how information gets from the outside world and into his ear.

Something I do not go into in the video, though, and I would like to talk about here, is the importance of Saturn as a Triplicity ruler.

A lot of people have been talking about how Saturn in Aries is in its fall. And that’s true. Saturn is not well-respected and feels very hurried in Aries. At the same time, Saturn is still in charge because it’s the Triplicity ruler of Aries in a day chart.

Even though it is not well-respected, Saturn still has control over what is going on around it and what it is doing. It still has autonomy. And because Saturn has autonomy, it can still run the show in the way that it wants to, even if it’s unpopular, or not doing the right thing.

Saturn in Aries really doesn’t care about annyone opinions. It just wants to get the job done as it sees fit.

This is obviously a dynamic that we are all dealing with in some way, shape, or form. And so, as we continue going on about our personal business with Saturn in Aries for the next couple of years, remember: however this is showing up in your real life, you don’t have control over it. The sooner you accept things as they are and that Saturn will continue to have its autonomy during this time the better.

Maybe it’s that we spent too much money on Mother’s Day, or maybe it’s because we’re feeling the economic stress as we look at gas prices going up. Either way, the pressure to manage our personal resources and bank accounts today could hit the roof.

One thing to remember, though, is that it’ll be ok. I know it won’t feel like it while you’re in the middle of the heatwave and can’t find water or cool air to breathe, but if you can keep your head down through the stress of it all, you’ll see that it was just a passing phase.

Remember that receiving help is just as important as offering it, and by refusing to even acknowledge the fact that you might need someone to hold your hand, for whatever reason, you could be causing more trouble.

In my own travels through this world, asking for help has regularly been a source of stress for me. But what I’ve learned over the years is that asking for help, no matter how caustic it may feel, is actually a good thing because it shows others you trust them.

Through all the emotional and therapeutic work I’ve done, I’ve found myself less and less willing to do a full, written week-ahead forecast because, honestly, it’s not fun for me. I’ve realized that my process works much better when I think less and act more spontaneously and intuitively.

So, my new format will likely include more daily write-ups (like this) from me for paid subscribers only starting June 1st. I’ll comment on the day’s transits, what to expect from them, and maybe offer a little insight into how I see them developing in the real world as I did in the one above.

Astrology, for me, is fun. It’s got a ton of deeper things going on with it, and I want to express those topics along with the typical archetypal silliness that we’re used to seeing online, and I think we can do that by being reflective.

Now, I know that a lot of you don’t share my political views, and that’s ok, I don’t hold it against you. But I know that you might hold it against me. If that’s the case, that’s cool. The Sun in Taurus sextiles Jupiter in Cancer tomorrow, and I think the lesson there is allowing yourself to notice and feel gratitude for the friends, families of choice, and influential people who have helped you through this mess of a 3D experience.

Be liberal with your “thank yous” and take time to appreciate the small things Community does for you. This isn’t “practicing gratitude” in a spiritual sense. Instead, it’s taking time to slow down and appreciate the world for what it offers, rather than focusing on the many difficulties of getting through daily life.

It’s tree-hugging energy, so hug a tree and be ever so thankful for the fruits the world literally gives us to sustain ourselves. Eat, drink, be merry. Find your favorite blanket or splurge on a new one. Life is tough out there, and the only way we can counteract it is with softness, so don’t be afraid to indulge in a new pillow or two.

Mars squares Jupiter

I will try to be gentle when I say this: you are doing too much. Monday kicks off the week with a Mars-Jupiter square, and I can’t really think of a more poetic way to start a week than by overextending ourselves.

Look for a trigger event of some kind on Monday, especially if you have significant points or planets in or around the 19° of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, double-especially if those are in houses 1, 4, 7, or 10 in your chart.

This square will hit like a truck, but not necessarily in a “bad,” “challenging,” or “negative” way; some form of movement will be initiated, creating an opportunity for white-knighting, defensiveness, homemaking, fussing, and shelter. There could be anger, competitiveness, or a need for independence that surfaces and applies pressure to the armor we wear, creating a desire to bond through nostalgia or shared history.

For some nativities, this will be an uncomfortable feeling of exposure. For others, you’ll be able to enjoy staring into the eyes of a loved one. There could be fights if you’re still in deflective mode, but if you can approach it calmly, it might actually be enjoyable.

It should be mentioned, though, that if you’re used to keeping the peace by not letting yourself be heard, there might be waves. You’ll have a choice to make—continue to diminish yourself, or actually break your silence and stick up for yourself.

Jupiter gives us opportunities. Don’t hesitate to grab this one.

Mercury square Pluto

After starting its trip through Taurus on Saturday, Mercury is well settled and in a mode that resembles passivity. That doesn’t mean Mercury isn’t doing anything; on the contrary, this can be a very strategic time, but don’t expect a lot of discussion or small talk. The focus turns to creation, stability, endurance, luxury, comfort, and perception.

Senses will likely be heightened, so sensitivities might be too. That’s everything from allergies to emotional fragility, so if you have to break bad news to someone, be gentle. There will be surface-level disinterest in topics when there is actual deep emotional investment. It’s just that no one can bring themselves to let other people see them sweat.

Earth signs Capricorn and Virgo benefit most from this stubborn and obsessive gaze. Just be sure to use it wisely; otherwise, you might find yourself doing someone else’s dirty work with very little convincing needed. Everyone is just a little more susceptible to suggestion, so think twice before committing to anything.

Mercury is communication, and Taurus can be actual and literal soil that’s being dug into, so consider this transit one where information might get buried.

Pluto retrograde

New students of astrology always seem compelled to understand the outer, generational planets before diving into the personal planets, and Pluto is usually the one that draws the most interest.

Pluto is a shadowy but bold planet. Some astrologers refer to it as a higher octave of Mars because both bodies incorporate a sense of fury, fire, and varying levels of deceit. Mars and Pluto are hot. I imagine both of them vibrating, Mars with agitation and Pluto with anticipation. Pluto’s interested in staying in control, especially from a distance, whereas Mars has no problem getting up in someone’s face. Mars likes knocking things over and setting them on fire. Pluto thinks that’s child’s play, choosing instead to play the long game and wait patiently for its well-deserved, satisfying payoff.

I can’t emphasize enough how important “time” is for Pluto. It’s “great change over time.” In Aquarius, this change happens to “the collective.” Aquarius is an air sign, one that is, much like Pluto, very observational. Surveillance and control of who can see or know what will be a returning theme. We’ve already seen this develop in FISA Section 702, Voter’s Rights changes, and the entire mess DOGE created.

With Pluto stopping in its rearranging tracks during its trek through the collective, the transformation it brings stops with it. The about-face serves as a trigger for Pluto to retreat, changing the way it changes things.

It’s hard to say what that could mean for the collective, especially with fallen Saturn for the next couple of years, because Aquarius loves to focus on the individual within the group. Maybe that means it’s different for each of us.

The changes are subtle, but over time, we’ll each notice how our outlook shifts, transforming slowly and possibly becoming radically different from what we were used to.

This retrograde applies to a trine with Uranus, newly in Gemini. Uranus in Gemini is a 7-year transit that just began, and Uranus isn’t so different from Pluto in the sense that it changes things. But, where Pluto’s transit indicates massive changes in Air over a very long period of time, Uranus reverses Air on the drop of a dime.

Opinions change unpredictably in response to what the collective observes.

The easiest way to witness this phenomenon will be through public opinion. The stories Mercury tells through social media, new media, propaganda, and hard-core investigative journalism directly impact public opinion and narratives, depending on who consumes which media. Corporate news, cable, and network television—entertainment that used to bring us together—all become archaic. Everyone believes what they want and what’s easiest, enlarging generational and cultural divides.

Libra will have its hands full. Placements in Libra, especially the Libra Pluto generation, will find themselves unsure what to believe while also mediating it all, trying to build bridges and create diplomatic harmony. Significant Libra placements could eventually benefit from learning the value of well-placed, intentional apathy.

Just remember that stories are always told by someone with an agenda and are rarely unbiased. Even the most objective journalist has a moral lens through which they view the world. Serious journalists aren’t influencers or podcasters, and the line between the two will become increasingly difficult to define. Media literacy will evolve, and it’s important to become fluent so you can keep pace with it.

This is not something to sleep on.
